18:20 This is one of my favorite scenes (maybe ever?) because the movie doesn't force the boy to fight his friends' bodies for the sake of giving him a big 'heroic' "boy becomes man" moment or even because it would have been the most survival-oriented thing to do. Instead the movie does a beautiful thing and allows the character to be vulnerable and remain compassionate which the movie makes a point to say it doesn't cost them the mission to feel overwhelmed by grief nor does it make the other characters annoyed; the other characters understand and don't judge him for freezing at the sight of his zombified friends. I think it's such a cool subversion of expectations because a lesser movie would have the boy either repress his grief/lasting love for his friends and fight them along side the others (fulfilling a traditionally 'masculine' movie archetype) or make the characters face lethal consequence for his empathy-led inaction. Love this movie and all it has to say about how the human race can't survive in any meaningful way without compassion and love for the living and dead. Thanks for the video, zzavid! (here's hoping you're doing better after that ending-- this movie hits and it hits hard!)

Not David dropping 'Mister' by KARA in front of my kpop seasoned eyes on this fine ass day!!! Finally, this reaction came to us safe and sound... I can't say the same about your sanity or mine but oh well, sacrifices had to be made lol
What I really loved about this movie was how it really was about the characters helping each other and the movie actively telling us NOT to be selfish during crisis like this. Even that one scene, the homeless man putting the sack over the zombie from attacking, the husband saving the girl and holding the door open instead of closing it in front of the main characters face, the pregnant woman taking care of the girl at the end. I love the message, let's not lose our humanity, even when humanity in under attack in a situation like this. Every single person, even ones who are deemed as "useless" or vulnerable in society, has contributed and helped in some way.
KARA - Mister the high school girl in the movie is Sohee (she's older than she looks) she was in a girl group called Wonder Girls. They were rival group.
The way he didn’t realize the father is the same actor as the recruiter in squid game and his first reaction was to thirst for them both 😭 Never change Zzavid
By far the most emotional zombie movie I've seen. The zombies are fast, and the way the actors contorted themselves was disgusting. I also love the sheer volume of the zombies, like when they break through the glass and fall on top of the train, or when they're hanging on to the train and slowing it down. And I cared for pretty much every character we spent time with EXCEPT for the railway CEO. But the littler girl was my favorite. She was adorable, and it broke my heart to see her cry like that. That screaming tore my soul.
As soon as you were stressed out before the action even started, I was like oh no he's not gonna make it. This movie is nothing but nonstop, unrelenting stress and anxiety until seconds before the credits and it all ends in tears. 😅
One of the reasons why this is my favorite zombie movie of all time is because the characters aren't dumb (some of em). The movie knows that humans truly aren't stupid. We're made to adapt and survive. The characters wrapped themselves in tape to avoid bites (could've been a bit more effective), when they realized that the zombies couldn't see in the dark they immediately used it to their advantage, the husband of the pregnant woman was on his A game 24/7. I also love that they didn't force the baseball player to start killing his former teammates and friends. They saw that he couldn't do it and never judged him for it. They just simply protected him. This is genuinely one of the best films I have ever had the privilege of watching.

After they looked at it further, they felt it was FAR too dark, so they created the ending we now see. I think that was for the best because an ending like that would have served to only turn people away from the film, and while it still would have had a message, it would have been far less impactful than the one we got.

I almost cried out in ecstasy when I saw this - please don't leave us for this long, our hearts can't take it!
I doubt ZZAVID's gonna see this, but I wish him well. Haven't been keeping up to date with his videos lately. My mental state has been very shitty and I don't know what to do about it. Thanks for making us happy, ZZAVID. You deserve more credit, honestly.
