He is the first person to be thrown out of North Korea.
Agreed!
Actually the 2nd
No it's not. All south Korean people defected to North after 2010 were eventually deported from North Korea. NK just don't take any defectors anymore unless they are extremely valuable resource.
@Clip4kkkk the second , but the first one wait for 30 freaking years 😂 .
@@somsom8540really , other than Jenkins & private who's other defector come out alive ? .
He was so useless, even North Korea didn't want anything to do with him. Lol
Yeah
There are lots of people who do insane things than I think. Travis is one of insane men.
If it was a white person or an Asian person they would have let the person stay but they don't want this man in their country he's going to offer nothing
The North probably thought him as a spy
He was a troublemaker, hence why he tried to flee into NK in the first place. Not hard to see why even they didn't want him.
Suddenly I'm reminded of a line by Dave Chappelle - "Terrorists won't take black people as hostages"
😂😂😂 mann I'm not messing with you.😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Bad bargaining chips 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I think the North Koreans failed to find any intelligence on him.
In more ways than one...🤪

If he keeps quiet and just writes a book he will be a millionaire
Two and a half years in the Army and still a low level Private, I doubt he could write a grocery list much less a book.
Sell the story rights to Hollywood
😂 he can write that book from Leavenworth
Please do tell us in your book about how even a Country like N.Korea thought you're such an American worthless reject that they didn't want anything to do with you. That'll be like a ten page book about how you tried to change sides and they said "No, we're good." 😂
@@JohnOhkumaThiel word? It's so hard to stay E1
Kicked out of the Army for being more trouble than he's worth, and expelled from North Korea! That is quite the resume. 😂
People who deal with border violators do their homework. That can take them some time but they do and they are somewhat selective to say the least. The deportation is not a surprise.
Deported
he also had cp on his work computer. one of the worst human beings in history
Let me just take a guess at how the Travis King release was negotiated.
Kim Jong Un: We have your American soldier. He ran to us willingly. He is our Edward Snowden. What will you give us to get him back?
US: Keep 'em. Consider him a gift from us.
Kim: But he's a soldier. No doubt he possess many military secrets.
US: No he doesn't.
Kim: He has special military training.
US: I'm sure he can mop a floor better than any soldier in the DPRK.
Kim: No, we have the best, most powerful floor moppers in the world.
US: Put him to the test then, but don't tell us the results, because we don't care.
Kim: But he hasn't committed any crimes under our laws, so we can't put him in prison, but we have to clothe, house, and feed him, like he's important?
US: You did say he's your Edward Snowden.
Kim: He can't even play basketball. He's no Dennis Rodman or Brittany Griner.
US: So you see our point.
Kim: C'mon! At least send a former President other than Trump to come pick him up. Clinton can come back.
US: Nope!
Kim: OK, in the interest of demonstrating my amazing kindness, we will allow you to come pick him up, no strings attached.
US: Just put him on a bus to China with directions to our embassy.
Kim: Your gratitude for my immense generosity is acknowledged.
US: Whatever.
Underrated comment.
@JohnOhkumaThiel, If i was a betting man i'm quite sure he was released because NK know black's face discrimination back home in America and in the Military they fight for. Had he been white he would still be in NK prison.
The FBI will be looking into how you got the actual transcript of said conversation.
😂
Awesome
"expelled by North Korea" so i guess they found him useless? 🤣
It doesn't say much, when even North Korea thinks you are useless.🙇🏽♂️🇰🇵

You are actually brainwashed if you think everyone gets tortured in North Korea and it is some kind of barbaric system there.

He is in a classification of can do no wrong .
I don't know why they don't just give him a choice. Either come back to America to face punishment for your crimes, or remain in North Korea where your citizenship will be revoked.
If you was his same age were u more mature than him? What about ur sons n daughters sane age of him do u see then as they r mature n better than him?
This story reminds me of one TV show on MASH, when Fank Burns was a POW, and the North Koreans couldn't stand him and decided to let him go back to the other side. They thought it would be better to let him go to the United States because it would help North Korea to win the war by getting rid of him. "Go back to the other side," they said to Frank Burns. Hollywood could do a spin-off in 2023 about PFC King.
Remember of the episode when the chinese exchaned wounded with MASH? They were giving them the wounded americans.
Frank Burns has some dorky gun. Remember that scene and how funny it ended up?
🤣
Anyone who's been in the military can tell you that a person who never made it beyond the grade of E-2 after 2 1/2 years in service is, to put it mildly, an underachiever. This guy's record clearly shows that he's a chronic f-up. Give him some confinement time for disobeying orders and then boot him with a BCD. That's what he deserves.
That would be racist
Bcd?
Yeah...Maybe the Air Force is different but at 2 1/2 years I was E4... and E4 mafia forever I stayed...👍

I’m shocked he’s alright
@sparkles999rose2, When American black troops are captured overseas they treated differently. Not bad at all because they know blacks deal with massive racism and fighting another mans war. North Koreans know blacks are discriminated in America. If he was white he would still be in NK prison. Fact
I think it's because he didn't disrespect North Korea or anything. NK felt honored that Mr. King felt safer in their country than the US.
Apparently they respect and have sympathy for black people because to them we’re considered foreigners than American and they actually have alliances with a lot of African countries
@@B3BXIt'd take more time than a few weeks.
Because North Korean don’t want black hostages. They only use white peoples as bargaining chip.
