I liked the TWA ( Teeny Winnie Afro) All it needed was a nice shape up around the edges and a sponge brush for the conditioned hair. Just another option for short 4c hair!

@@mitulu74 Exactly! I got my natural hair silk pressed last summer to get a good trim, and it looked amazing! I was waist-length straightened, and got it trimmed up to just a few inches past bra strap length...some of my aunts thought I was wearing a wig in my pic afterwards, lol!

For those with the negative comments, this is a long process...this is a great way to trim evenly...yes, if it gets a bit of wet, it will revert...that's the way things go when you're natural. ESPECIALLY SHORT AND COURSE....I think the person did a good job considering the tightness of the coils....come on peeps🙏🏽..the person may be going through her process of appreciating her naturalness.....
It's not negative it's the truth, It wasnt good. There is a lot of people that have hair like hers and the process turned out magnificent. That stylist just dont know what she doing.

The comments reveal how we feel about true 4c hair. Its always assumed to be dry unkept and not moisturized. Its just as. Moisturized before and after as other hair types. People just cant accept it so they lay accusations. 4c moist will never match other hair types its the highest grade of black hair but people take its characteristic to be the least

If this isn't the truth! I had to find the right stylist to educate me on my hair texture because I have 4c hair. No heat and moisturization definitely helped me a lot

I’m 4C and my hair sucked until I went completely natural. It was beautiful and even better now that I have locs. We 4C will experiment with straight and processed hair until we grow up and realize we’re much more beautiful as God created us.
Just because a person with 4c hair wears their hair in a straight state pressed out doesn’t make them not a natural. Being natural just means no chemicals.

I agree, a hot comb would’ve gotten it straighter. I use an electric hot comb and heat protectant to straighten my very coarse hair and it works perfectly
That method of straightening wouldn't last 30 minutes for me, but the treatment and trim would make it grow fast and very healthy.
As soon as it’s humid in whatever area she’s in or if she sweats, she’ll look like she has a helmet on 😭😭 that used to happen to my hair if I didn’t check on the weather for the next day.
