Mas may sense talaga gravel for me. Masyado namang inefficient and MTB for me.
Same here. Since that, nag change ako to gravel tires, now all goods with much more confidence on the road..
Ger, Una, Congratulations sa new bike, at maraming salamat as RD Cycles for supporting you and your channel. Very nice bike check of a really excellent bike. Siguro, dahil nag umpisa akong gumamit nang MTB in the early 1980's, wala pang suspension noon, I am somewhat skeptical sa tinatawag na, "gravel bike". I was telling myself, bakit mong gustong bumalik sa dating MTB, na hard tail. Very uncomfortable. I looked at gravel bikes as a marketing hype. The fact that there are now front and rear suspensions made for gravel bikes seems to proved my point. Then I started to realized na may unique selling point ang tinatawag na gravel bike. It is, if you look at it, a perfect touring bike. Versatile, that was the word that you used, best describes it. Parang chameleon ang capabilities. It does not have the full capabilities of a mountain bike, cycle cross bike or a road bike, pero, it has some of these bikes capabilities. A gravel bike can tackle some off road trails, is relatively faster than a regular front suspension MTB, and geometry wise, your position is more comfortable than a cycle cross or a racing road bike, hence, you can travel long distances with comfort. And, honestly, for most of us, that is more than enough. Versatility, that is the biggest selling point and the reason why gravel bikes became mainstream. Enjoy your new bike and new adventures. Ingat lagi. Maraming salamat!
glad to see you enjoying your gravel bike. quick note lang po, sa grx400 na rd up to 36t lang ang max and kung naka 1x na setup, pwede gamitan ng tiagra na shifters for mechanical disc brakes instead of hydraulic. pero sa 11 speed po na grx rd pwede 11-42 na cassette.
Napaka versatile talaga ng gravel bike, i use to own a hybrid pathlite bike though ok sya off road medyo hirap kapag nag road naman, i switch to gravel bike kase superb ang ride off/on road i own grizl 7 same ng components ng bike na yan 😊
Nice bike, Cannondale to go!
Kulang pa ako sa knowledge at that time bumili ako ng kespor McLaren R, RB sya na pwede mo gawing 40c To make the story short sya pala ay cyclocross geometry medyo uncomfortable pero commuter ako eh kaya ok lang
Hey there, sir Ger Victor! Your vlogs are a total blast - keep up the awesome work! I'm a fellow gravel bike enthusiast, and I'm all about that versatility it brings. Best of both worlds, right? 😄 I've got a quick question about the Magene Power meter. I'm rolling with a GRX 600 crankset, and I'm curious if the P505 spider-based power meter fits without needing to swap out the crank. Also, could you share where you snagged the power meter from and if installation comes with the deal? By the way, major props on that Absolute Black Oval chainring - loving the setup. Mind sharing where you got your hands on it? Hehehe!

Quality build sir!
Congratulations sir... galing ako mtb, roadbike at ngaun gravel bike na. Nagka topstone4 din ako. Ngaun trek checkpoint ulit. :)
Gravel bike + 2 wheelsets
1 skinny for road kahit 32mm like gp5000
1 wider for gravel/adventure rides
Yes!
@@GerVictor master, gawa ka din ng video soon comparing gravel and mtb on offroad ☺️

I agree.

Thats real Gravel bike not hyvrid setups..like it Lods may gravel ako build lang low budget lang kaya di naka GRx components 😊
fellow gravel bike rider here, mas may sense pa talaga to kesa mtb na naka airfork then nasa highway
Not sure kung advisable for gravel bikes pero for better accessibility and aesthetics, mas ok ata fidlock water bottle na..
Nice bike, Cannondale to go!
Gravel bike, sarap i ride kahit anong klaseng kalsada bibida...
How about yung Giant Escape Disc 2, okay ba sya?
Decent bike and parts, kaya na naman
@@GerVictorsulit ba sa 23k php? Or baka po meron kayo mas maire-recommend na hybrid or gravel bike? Thanks
I would choose mtb parts on the front handle. Too expensive pag gravel components.
Dahil dito mukhang magpapalit nko from mtb to Gravel, speed narin kasi hanap ko at di narin ako gaano naglalaro ng xc for safety purposes.
Hi idol bro,
Hows the bike after ng few months? I plan to get one soon.
As a sideline bike mechanic mas prefer ko ang gravel bike, kaysa road bike
hello po - what is the name of the bike stand you are using @ 4:42 ?
Gravel is the key ❤
Ano po year model yan topstone2? Ty
Sir Ger, san mo nabili un Selle San Marco saddle mo at magkano... thanks
San mo nabili yung fender ko? Thank you 😊
The best talaga gravel bike parang gamit ko daily use at pamasok

Redshift seatpost and stem na kuya ger2x
Bought gravel last June.. never going back to MTB
Ano height nyo sir?
Okay din for compliance👍
Ebikes Sir na Gravel, maganda gamitin pang long rides

Ravemen FR160 @ 2K+ sa Shopee. 160 lumens max at specific for daytime riding pero pwede din sa gabi kung city at mostly well lit ang daan.
