Frostblink of Wintry Blast Tech

The new Transfigured gem Frostblink of Wintry Blast Tech doesn't have a base cooldown like it's original counterpart or a duration like Lightning Warp, allowing it to be used without investment into CDR / Attack speed (or with minor investment in this case).

Couple of downsides I've found using this:
1) Frostblink likes to auto-target enemies so if you hold right-click on a boss it'll do a Whirling Blades-esque back and forth over the boss even if you move your mouse away while holding right click. You actually have to let go of right-click and re-target the ground to get out of the loop. Lightning Warp doesn't seem to have this auto-targeting baked into it.
2) Frostblink doesn't have as large of a range as Lightning Warp so sometimes you can't blink across bigger gaps.

I actually like the auto targeting vs bosses it's much more intuitive than how you'd approach the same boss with lightning warp

@@YanKuch Yeah that's fair it's more of a preference thing than a pure downside for sure. Though it can sometimes be hard to get yourself unlocked from the auto targeting.

I wonder if there could be more synergy with this in an ice shot build, maybe scaling aoe and power charges to get a big frostblink with cull and curse on hit or woke cold pen for cold exposure. fb-woke cold pen-woke aoe-cull is about +50 mana cost per attack so maybe the instant leech mastery would be a good solution to the mana cost of a 4-link fb instead of inspo or -mana craft

It's good for straight paths, but those are only found in two locations in the game, both of which are in delve -- and most of the money you get out of delve is from killing the boss, which builds like this are usually not good at.

You could switch out the helmet when arriving at the boss.

@@YanKuch i think i have found 2 mistakes in pob. we have 2 marks in second 75lv setup. but how are we able to use since we can not apply second curse. Second thing is that to gain rage we need to stun (warlords mark) as i see we basically not gaining that :) correct me if im wrong. really wants to use it as a starter for farming essences next league early on, so i do want to know a bit more bout build :) thanks in advance

​@@Veeon55 For the non frostblink setups;
you can use warlord's mark and sniper's mark, the warlord's mark will be cast only when you crit with manaforged arrow frenzy so it won't entirely destroy your sniper's mark uptime for single target. (it does reduce it but it's worth it for berserk)
Rage regen isn't that good until you have The interrogation jewel which prevents you from inflicting freezes (you cannot stun and freeze on the same hit).
If it's a league starter for essence farming you're looking for, I am working on getting a guide out for a dirt cheap ice shot build specifically tailored to annihilates essence rares, its going to be hot :)
