Group S Racing Phillip Island Classic 2024 Race 5 - Fighting for 1st

Riding shotgun with Brett Smith (@pirateharbour) in his very rapid Datsun 280Z, fighting against the immaculate 1966 Shelby GT350 of Terry Lawlor in the 5th and final race of the VHRR Phillip Island Classic 2024.
A large field of almost 50 cars started the weekend, including Porsches, Alfa Romeo, Triumph, MG, Alpine, Austin Healey, Ferrari, DeTomaso and Corvette, there is something for everyone.

. . .ahh , there's only one car that has a dash pad like that . A blast from the past for me . Didn't know it would be in car footage 🤔 but it was that dash that kept me watching . . . and the racing 😉 . . .😂😂

Big red light of doom on that sharp right-hander on the last couple of laps had me anxious.

Lawler seemed to regularly get a better, straighter run onto the straight. Great fight by Smith though.
