- Join us on an adventurous journey as we set sail for the Bahamas from the dock. In this episode, we document our preparation for departure, only to encounter an unexpected plot twist right off the bat! Just as we pull away from the dock, we're forced to turn back due to engine issues. The culprit behind our sudden stop - a faulty raw water pump.
Watch as Daniel, our skilled mechanic (hahaha), takes on the challenge to diagnose and replace the pump right on the boat. With his expertise, (sure, we'll call it that) he quickly identifies the problem, turning a near-disaster into a learning experience for all. This video not only shows the troubleshooting process but also gives you a peek into the realities of sailing life, where not everything goes according to plan.
We end on a high note with a successful engine test, proving all systems are go for our next attempt at departure.

Looks like you got into a fight with a puma. That's why I like my t-bolt clamps.
@@thorn3377 agreed! I just need about a thousand to replace all the ones already installed 🤣🤣🤣
Well done on the repair you will soon be a fully fledged mechanic. I am surprised you both didn't throw the spanner in so to speak. I would off been boiling. anyway I hope there weren't to many profanities thrown around, take care stay safe.
Thank you sir! To tell the truth there were plenty of strong 4+ letter words thrown around. It was definitely a disappointment and annoyance, but we soldiered through and came out better on the other side, so it's a win!
Before I saw your arm I thought, Man that looks painful. Bummer dude.
Funny part was I (Daniel) didn't even notice until I was done, looked around, and saw blood. Sure I could feel it scratch me but I would never have imagined it looking like I got into a fight with a very annoyed cat!
