How to cook the PERFECT beef flank steak!

  • Ingredients:
    Flank steak 400g
    Butter 50g
    Mini potatoes
    Snow peas
    Cherry tomatoes
    Shallots
    Vegetable oil
    Cognac
    Red wine 150ml
    1. Boil the snow peas for 2mins, then soak them in cold water
    2. Melt 50g of butter in a pan and add the potatoes
    3. Sprinkle with salt & pepper
    4. Cook for 15mins and add the snow peas
    5. Add the cherry tomatoes and cook for 1min
    6. Trim your flank steak
    7. Season the meat, sear it for 1min on each side and set aside
    8. Add chopped shallots in the pan and replace the meat on top
    9. Add some cognac and carefully set on fire
    10. Remove the meat and add 150ml of red wine in the pan with your shallots
    11. Add butter, reduce the sauce and season with salt and pepper...
    It's ready, bon appetit !
