Now that’s a hart 👍❤️! I’m still using the blue BR34Reed ❤️ I got from you on my Primal dragster she runs real good . I’m using the FS clutch . But even your MOD style you should always torque them down to 80 inch LBS with a good 1/4 inch torque wrench so it squishes on to crank shaft well . A lot of times if done by hand and engine gets hot you can feel a slipping of the clutch but it will be slipping on engine crank shaft . Everything looks awesome 👏 can’t wait for you to race it !! Just take your time with the engine break in do not rush it ! Look how good the one I got from you is doing and all the races I won with it and how consistent it is it’s unbelievable. Even starts on first pull most of the time with no choke on carburetor
Hey John yeah thanks brother. I actually did torque it down off camera with the new torque wrench my wife got me for Christmas-and I’ve been waiting anxiously to use it! Lol 😂 Hope everything is well on your end brother and looking forward to another video from you like always. Cheers
I'm pretty sure the clutch cams are assembled in the wrong direction. inspect carefully, on the side of rotation of the clutch and on the spread of the cams, the contact will pass with a sharp edge and have a smaller area. I believe the cams are cams expand !!! By the way, good content is always attractive to watch! I say hello from Russia, where people also adore the 5th scale!
Great looking build Luis, I’m really looking forward to hearing it run! Great big like from Ohio! Hope you and the family are doing well! Thanks for sharing brother
Nice build and thanks for the video. That said, the Loctite you used on the clutch bolt may not be effective. Best to use high temperature Loctite as that bolt threads into the crankshaft which will be more or less at the engine temperature which may be higher than the loosening temperature of regular Loctite. Just a tip and meant to be helpful.
I just viewed your channel bro great stuff you got going on I started watching Botajell on RUclips around 4 years ago I learned everything from him but I got into 1/5 scale and I have a 5t with a bartolone 34 reed and I also have a 84 Chevy Monte Carlo ss body I haven’t finished it yet I was wondering did you ever weigh the vecta because my car is around 40 pounds with no motor wondering should I go with the 40 reed case it’s on my RUclips channel you can check it out
Sure I’ll check out your channel! I never weighed my Vekta but i do know that it’s pretty heavy. I’m running a 34 Reed case in my Vekta but maybe I’ll drop the BR40 in it. Thanks for watching. Cheers
Truck is coming along very nice

Hey Todd thanks dude. Yeah we are doing fine considering the snow storm and the blackout we have been experiencing since Sunday. Crazy. Cheers
@@SmithRCStudios Damn! Blackout since Saturday? I hope you're staying warm!
Cool..!
looking good mate 💪 surprised you didnt fit an alloy centre diff housing. those plastic ones warp over time and leak!!!
I did.. it’s in the video
@@SmithRCStudios not the mount, the housing. What you bolted the spur gear to. Is that alloy?
Ahh i see what you’re saying. Yeah i guess i can look into that in the future. For now that plastic one is okay. Thanks though cheers
It must be nice
Yes very 😎 cheers

Really appreciate the input. 😊 Cheers dude.
Where did you get tbe Bartalone & DDM banners?
Bartolone was personally given to me by Chris Bartolone. The DDM i got from Steve at DDM when i was in Utah visiting DDM. Cheers

Put a Taylor RC engine in it.
@@goodboyringo9716 No not in this truck. I will keep Bartolone. I have a Taylor 65 in my Vekta. Thanks for the support cheers
pourquoi pas choisir moteur taylor 35cc rc max frérot a la place du 34cc O'neill Brothers Racing
I normally run BR engines. Also Taylor and OBR. They are all great! 👍🏽
