So many fantastic Supers in Tekken 8. Alot of love was put into this game's overall presentation and it is great to see that Tekken 8 had a strong launch (such as having 50,000 Players on Steam playing and beating out Tekken 7's peak number of around 20,000). I would say that I hope Tekken 8 has a strong first year, but I feel like it won't need the luck. If anything else, it is going to be exciting to see what "high level play" is going to look like when we get to EVO Japan and EVO months from now. Let the good times roll for fighting games.
I can't lie another thing i find interesting is in jins super whenever he ko xiaoyu or jun with a rage art he apologizes for doing it i love the small details in this game almost all the characters have rage art specific dialogue against certain characters
the problem with Victors super that makes it a shitty/10 for me is that when he pulls out his sword he kinda just stands there... and then it cuts to him slashing, when i feel like it should've been an unsheathe into slash type thing. once you notice the awkward cut you start to hate the super
I agree with most of your ratings. Except a couple stand out ones. I would've definitely bumped up Claudio to atleast an 8 it's just too cool. Raging Demon on the tippity top
I so hope there's a boss rage for this coming
Reina better than Yoshi's hands down. The camera work, the one-liners, the finishing move. So much better than stereotypical sword combo.
idk why but every time I fight against lee and he does his RA I say “MARVELOUS” with him. even if he kills me.
lee's grenade looks a lot like combot's head. thats crazy
It is the same yeah
Yeah!
5:29 for me that scream from devil jin is what really seals the deal on that super, its just a perfect guttural scream
alisa really just said "RRRRRONALDINHOOO SOCCEEER!!"
If she does it on Lars, she says "gol desu" translated to "that's a goal." I laughed so hard when I first noticed that
So many fantastic Supers in Tekken 8.
Jin's super is just him trying to be Sephiroth
LOVE the mvc1/mvc2 war machine proton cannon reference from max 11:07
Victor is just Noctis but with drip
And older.
Noctis gots more drip
I can't lie another thing i find interesting is in jins super whenever he ko xiaoyu or jun with a rage art he apologizes for doing it i love the small details in this game almost all the characters have rage art specific dialogue against certain characters
If you really think about it, Azucena wouldn't want to waste coffee, would she?
Specially since Peruvian coffee is regarded as a high quality product.
the problem with Victors super that makes it a shitty/10 for me is that when he pulls out his sword he kinda just stands there... and then it cuts to him slashing, when i feel like it should've been an unsheathe into slash type thing. once you notice the awkward cut you start to hate the super
I agree with most of your ratings. Except a couple stand out ones. I would've definitely bumped up Claudio to atleast an 8 it's just too cool. And jin's rating definitely has a hefty bias with it that shit is like a 5.5 it might be the worst one in the game. xiaoyu's super which you did shortly after his is definitely better
I disagree jin super is pretty damn good especially with initial shot of his wing. While the Xiao Yu is way weaker.
@@PonchitoPoncho2050 nahh I can't sign off on that one. jin gives you a single low impact punch with a bunch of sparkly effects and barley any personality to speak of. There's actual choreography. camera work and personality with xiaoyu's super. I honestly can't see the redeeming part of jin's one
@@Bigswordenergy-b7u Is tastes then. to me the Jin even though is not very long it has more impact at least to me and aparrently max at least more than the Xiao Yu one.
Oddly enough I like his story mode super that ends in a kick better.
@@ThatGuy-en2nn yeah it feels a bit more dynamic especially when you get the KO screen with it. Still not that good but it's definitely an improvement
So... Yoshimitsu does Hidden Mist Jutsu from the Nintendo games (with no mist).. Devil Jin does Tsukiyomi.. Raven does Uzumaki Barrage.. Lars does Lightning Cutter.. hmmm.. Namco sure loves Naruto
I was really hoping that everyone would get the Rage Arts enders like SC6 did with they KO'd with a critical edges. It's a shame only a handful of characters got that TLC.
I'm disappointed Max didn't call out the STRIDER reference on Lars' one.... ITS A RAGNAROK!
13:09 this was so funny to me because I don't play Tekken, so it looks like a rich guy saying "this is what i call fun" then beats the hell out of some random lady
Nobody realized that super is timing with subscription (ultra combo!) at 2:23? It was dope hahahaha
10:46 there is an audio cut off. Comes back 5 seconds later though.
"Some of these we enter like a nightmare realm"
Jjk and it's consequences has been something for the fgc.
Bryan’s super ALONE makes me want to play him 😅
13:41 Whoever worked on Alisa’s super REALLY liked Shaolin Soccer.
Or Final Fantasy 10. My mind immediately thought "That's a Jecht shot" 😂
Even the worst T8 Rage Art is better than the best T7 Rage Art, even the ones that are just “a bunch of hits followed by a big hit” are incredibly dynamic and impactful, the camera work makes gives them that dynamism and they actually tell you something about the character even if it’s basic like Lili is elegant, Dragunov is cold, Raven is a NINJA, Law HATES RICH PEOPLE.
It would be out of character for Azucena to chuck coffee at the opponent cuz she respects coffee so much she wouldn't disrespect it like that.
AHHHH my Man Made it to 4K! much love Max!
