To me the Enterprise-G is the Eclipse Class, not a cheap cop out re-christened Titan-A. I like the Miranda 2.0 it's an awesome design for sure. I agree that with the right Captain and tactics it's a formidable ship. I was surprised the Enterprise-F wiped the floor with the Miranda 2.0 holy crap. Ya something critical was hit for sure.
I always loved the Miranda design. The traditional Star Fleet designs look like racing ships made of glass, not stocky and sturdy meant for taking care of business like the Miranda and Nebula. I think it’d take 5 Miranda 2 ships to take down a Grand Nagus though. PROVE ME WRONG!!!
The Miranda 2 is a mod I really like; it looks absolutely gorgeous, handles great and is quite potent. I was really glad to see a Remastered version. This and the La Fayette mod (sadly no Remaster version) are probably the two ships I play most in Skirmish.
I never really liked the Neo-Connie, I wished they went for a more interesting design, however I do like the fact that the Enterprise isnt a capitial ship for once.

The phasers are wild and took out the Ent F that fast is amazing.. and yes most of us would like to forget that ship lol. oh gosh. also, it doesn't like quantums nor other ships being thrown at it .. just saying lol. Yes that was crazy , the Ent F took it out that fast.. gosh.. and this Ent G, huh.. well again, such big and numerous impulse engines for a small this hmm.lol. This was a great battle Admiral. Yes, right command and tactics the ship was so fast and nimble.. 😊🖖
She may be 2.O but the new Miranda is definitely a ship to underestimate at your peril. Especially when it takes down a Starfleet ship known for eating other ships for breakfast.
Saglfe guess the Eclipse Class? There are other Ent-G mods in BC, one was repurposed as an Ent-H, and another was a Starforce Productions concept that was repurposed as a Shattered Timeline Ent-G.😅
I can see most of the Miranda 1.0 being upgraded into the 2.0 by adding the forward dorsal section and ventral engineering section too. The Miranda 1.0 is a very capable ship, which is the reason it was mass produced like the Excelsior. It does lack armor and power plus needs more powerful weapons&shields. I can see the Miranda 1.0 being upgraded by Starfleet during the Dominion War just like they did with the Excelsiors. It was obvious that the Miranda 1.0 are still useful considering that they were still widely used during fleet battles against the Dominion. The ship doesn't need the extra speed just to be more survivable. I can see Starfleet mass producing the forward dorsal&ventral engineering sections to replace the outer hull of the Miranda's existing saucer section for the extra armor. Maybe install a pair of spinal phaser lance/pulse phasers to give that extra long range firepower.
This Miranda is nice, and the Barrier Class (Miranda 2.5) is also awesome. Though once finished, there will be an Enforcer to challenge the Miranda Refit Refit Throne...😂
I never saw the reason so many Trekkies loved the Miranda class. I thought it was thick, wide, and stumpy looking. Overall it was a decent average ship, but certainly nothing special. But the 2.0 version is a freaking looker! With the long, thin oval saucer section, slightly narrow in the bow and wide across the aft. I love that the weapon pod in raised fairly high for a better field of fire. I also like the minimalist secondary hull set in tight against the center of the underside of the saucer. This ship has nothing stumpy looking about it. Only thing I would change is make the weapon pod circular with torpedo tubes facing 360 degrees and make it spin to follow the targeted ship.

I thought the Titan was a worthy title. It earned its place in the events of Picard Season 2. The Enterprise F was far too gorgeous to retire too.
I don't think it needed another name though. Titan-A was fine as it was.
It doesn‘t feel right to name a ship after someone who‘s still alive. I also don‘t see why the Titan couldn‘t stay the Titan.

The Miranda 2.0 should join the other USS Enterprises. That way they'd be one big happy fleet!
