As Lesotho sets to pass the Computer Crimes and Cyber Security Bill 2022, it has become imperative for non-state actors to advocate for the review of Sections in the Bill that will impede on journalists' freedom to do their work diligently. It is also important for Lesotho citizens to realise that the Bill if passed in its current form, will affect them and their access to information for better-informed decision-making.
