how does it feel yo! half a million subs! you were probably at a few thousand subscribers when you made this comment. ive been a subscriber for the past 2 years now I think.
5 great tips in this video: 1. How to apply clipping masks to a layer. 2. Keyboard shortcut for adjusting tracking on text (select text and hold alt/option + left/right arrows). @3:10 3. Getting stock images directly in Photoshop using Pexels plugin! @8:54 4. Grouping layers and using Cmd-T to move the entire Group. @12:29 5. A bonus for those who pay attention.
Great tutorial! I feel like the reason so many people are confused by clipping masks is because Adobe (once again) makes it counterintuitive by placing the clipping mask on the layer you don't want to be visible. Using this project as an example, the intuitive layer order would be the text on top as a clipping mask looking "through" to the leaves on bottom. The clipping mask would "clip" everything around the letters away. This would make so much more sense, in terms of order. Too late to change now, but another example of Adobe making things much more confusing than they need to be.
Pexels is great and this tutorial is great. It took so much time looking for stock photographs to practice with and this speeded everything up. I was struggling so much with masks, I almost gave up, and your tutorials saved me. Thank you
I have to tell you Unmesh, your tutorials are just the perfect pace. I can't stand tutorials too slow or that skip details and assume we already know little details. You are greatly improving my workflow. Thanks!!!
YOU SIR......should have 20 million subscriber! You create THE BEST tutorials on youtube! THE BEST! THANK YOU FOR SHARING ALL YOUR EXPERTISE.....CLEARLY HUMBLY AND NWITH COMPASSION! GOD BLESS🙏
The last one was EXACTLY what I have been search and searching for, for quite a long time. Taking my rectangular jpegs and killing the sharp right angle edges
Came across this vid after spending hours watching others, you explain very well, and show what exactly you need to tap on, I’ve finally got this now, thank you!
Man, I really like your videos and I'd like to attend a class from you, if I'm in the same country as you. Sadly, it's not. :') You're a really good teacher and I learned a lot from you. Please keep up the good work
5:32 Thank you, that was the part that solved my damn problem. It was driving me nuts, trying to create clipping masks and testing all kinds of things. I didn't realize that you needed to have a solid background for it to work, still don't fully understand but at least I got it to work.
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I learnt all that you showed...things which I had been wanting to learn for ever so long but couldn't get from all the other tutorials! Muah!!!
Thank you for all your help. I find you are the best teacher I have found on yourtube. You explain precicely and provide ALL the information and make it easy to undertstand and follow along.
You tutorials are amazingly educational, and in a very easy/fun way . One more thing, you're maybe just about the only one (with an Indian accent) that I can make out what he is talking about in English. Good tuts . Keep them coming.
Wow, we had figured out a way to achieve this effect, but, clearly, this is a faster, more efficient, and proper way to get the results that were seeking. This deserving of a contribution to help keep these great tip coming.
Awesome tutorial man, you deserve a million viewers. I like the way you do your indepth tutorial which help newbies like me to understand on how to edit on photoshop in a none destructive way and appreciate the small details on how to do things.
I've seen sooooooooooo many of your videos, and in this one you are funny and seem to be in a really good mood. You were making me laugh and it was hard to concentrate.
On a Mac if the Option click is not working. HOLD SHIFT & OPTION at the same time. Hover between the 2 images and the box will appear. DO NOT let go of SHIFT & OPTION until the box appears. It's a little weird but after a few tries you'll have it.
This was really good stuff! Very helpful and I really loved the way you explained everything in the video! Looking forward to seeing all your videos. Keep up the good work!
Sir.. .Thank you very big for sharing your knowledge. . .you elaborate and explain clearly thanks for that, unlike to the other tutorials they just demonstrate without explanation. .and they demonstrated faster so you can not understand very well. . . thanks again very much for your tips and techniques using adobe photoshop. I hope more blessings of talents and skill continually dwell to you. God Bless. . .Big thumps up for you. . .
