    Attorney here - indeed, legal fees, or the threat of more legal fees, typically are what quiet lawsuits, not actually winning or losing. While it encourages settlement, it often gives the deepest pockets a major advantage.

      Plaintiff filed in Nevada, which has an anti-SLAPP statute. Spencer also hired one of the best First Amendment attorneys in the country. Obviously, every case is different, but there’s a chance Plaintiff may end up paying Spencer’s counsel fees. I also downloaded the Complaint from PACER, and read it. It’s an absolute joke.

    • @JackDuffley
      @JackDuffley 3 года назад +4

      @@alanlevy1982 only problem is it takes time (and billables) to enforce the statute. Not saying it won't happen here, but that's a barrier for lots of people. Though that kind of statute is a step in the right direction to chill semi-frivolous suits.

    • @alchemistamineh3261
      @alchemistamineh3261 3 года назад +2

      This is the truth and disheartened me in reference to" justice" if you don't have the money you basically will not win cuz they drain your money with time and legal filings if you're going against someone with power via money 😖

    • @alchemistamineh3261
      @alchemistamineh3261 3 года назад +1

      @Bowling Circus those cases are different. The attorney takes the case off contingency ...once you win they get 33 1/3 %. Keep in mind this is for big corporations like "big pharma" because they have money set aside for settlement cases they release the medicine knowing they will make more profits than the money they lose on claims. That's why the attorney takes your case it's a guaranteed settlement or money. Same with PIP or medical malpractice attorneys they do cases like that cuz they know they will make their money.
      If you are suing someone who scammed you or stole from you based off lies or false advertisements.....you pay your attorney up front and hopefully you get those fees covered if you win and that's if you can collect money from the defendant..... smh

    Very well put! It's like those investment influencers that talk about the results they obtained and that they shared this or that stock tip timely in their private (paid) groups / subscription lists which made them a lot of money. It's also easy to do chart analysis on the past and trace all those "patterns". Not even massive investment companies have fool proof methods with large staff, technology and access to data and "political information", imagine a youtuber that needs to sell you a subscription so you can see their stock picks for the day, then dump after pumping and saying you did it wrong when you lose money after all...
    People who can't do, teach. The ones that get results will do it quietly so others don't copy them and kill their gold mine 😁

    I looked up the lawsuit. I'm sorry that this laugh I've had will cost you a few grand (ideally not a cent more but as you've shown, yeah, being right doesn't mean the justice system is on your side), but wow, the cajones on that guy. I was laughing in incredulity.
    If there's one thing scammers do have in abundance, because it sure isn't money or integrity, it's gall. That they feel so uncomfortable wasting people's resources whether that be money or time or both in your case is what makes them so dangerous. A lot of us have a "thing" within us that prevents us from happily exploiting others in those ways, but there's nothing like that in them and that gives them a "leg up" in a sense as to many it's unthinkable that someone would set out to shake them down like that.
    Your work on this channel and outside in fighting this lawsuit is so valuable.

When you look up these reviews people on Facebook or Google to see if they now have a high net worth or are making a success from the course they reviewed, often those names can’t be found on FB or they’re not making a living doing what they did on the guru led course.

    I know most people will think I am full of 💩 but my grandfather is actually wealthy, he sold his plastics company to a chemical company for millions. I grew up around money and have lived in areas such as Wellington Florida where my family competes in dressage and attends polo events. My grandfather also has homes in places like Martha’s Vineyard again another place frequented by some of the the wealthiest people. Long story short I have grown up around money and have been blessed enough to brush shoulders with some of the wealthiest families in America and let me tell you not a single rich person talks about these gurus. I have never heard any wealthy person being up how genius any of these people are or recommend their courses. These gurus are nothing more than snake oil salesmen the advice they give will leave you with nothing but regret. Like you said In your video they walk a thin line between legit product and a pyramid scheme. These guys love to talk about risk and how you need to take risk to make it big which is true however the risk they are asking people to make are never in the favor of the investor. When rich people take risk they are well calculated risk that are look over throughly by a team of professionals before the rich person pulls the trigger, to put things simply think of investing as a roulette table a rich person may place a large bet on red or black where there is a higher chance they will win but these gurus are telling people to bet it all on a single number, rich people would never take a risk like that. Also it should be noted that several of these gurus have been caught red handed lying about making the courses themselves and have been hiring cheap labor from India to create courses for them that they only skim over and play no part in the creation of and pass them off as their own. The guy with the books and black Lamborghini was a good example of this where he couldn’t even answer questions about what was on his own courses because he not only didn’t create them but never even bothered to throughly read them either. Don’t waste your money on these clowns and let’s face it if you are turning to people like that in order to make money than you probably don’t have what it take to be a multimillionaire in the first place.
