Rewatching mich's old vids really brings back memories. Around this time was when makeup tutorials became popular and the beauty segment on youtube became one of the more clicked on links. I really miss the way it used to be, how no one really knew how to collab yet and the youtube community was just discovering new ideas everyday. It's truly cool to see the youtube community start to grow bigger and bigger and everyone knows everyone now and it's kind of like RUclips had a coming of age experience. :') such bittersweet nostalgia.
It was actually the first video of hers that I ever saw, it was a couple of years ago when I was going through my vampire faze. I've been following Michelle's journey for years now :)

These videos were my entire young adolescence, I binged them over and over again just because it felt nice and I could feel her genuine interest and joy from playing with makeup. Personally for me Michelle is the beauty community, she was the very first person that I saw doing makeup tutorials on RUclips, and she's the main reason why I love makeup now. Without her influence and especially this video I most likely wouldn't have an interest that could lead to a career.
