Nervous tic I believe. She's been open about her struggle with anxiety. It seems when she's unsure what to do/how to react, that lip pop is her immediate reaction. I've picked it up subconsciously just through watching her interviews and now I can't stop 😭😂

I also loved that she was asking questions of Nikkie in return too. Just gives me vibes that it's just a friendly, respectful, fun, chill hangout vs. just an interview for publicity.

Also, Adele’s honesty is so raw. My mom always said she really, genuinely didn’t get her life together until 40. It gives me hope. Once she became a full time single mom, she only worked harder. 55 now and an important asset to her job, makes enough to live decently. Finally has bought a house since filing for bankruptcy 15 years ago. It’s truly inspiring. She even got a masters degree while holding a full time job and raising us as teenagers back then. It’s never too late to figure out what you want.
That’s honestly so empowering. Women are always pressured to do stuff when we are so young because society gives us some sort of “expiration date”. As if life was over once you turn 35. Your mom sounds like an amazing woman
