@@iiiiiilonamm her recent video on why she left explained that she wasn't in a good place mentally with the situation she was in at this time (she was overworking, losing touch with what she wanted to do with her life, etc.). She's doing a lot better now that she bought back EM Cosmetics and is creating products she wants to do. She's no longer active on her RUclips channel anymore but she has appeared on other channels and is active on her Instagram.

I’m sorry as someone suffering from legitimate depression. Her life is 1 million times better than most people. How many people can afford to live in New York in a nice swanky apartment, with your own make up company, with a great romantic prospect, amazing friends that listen to you and value what you say and care about you. Being financially stable her living out on her own knowing that her family is well taken care of back where she is originally from I believe it’s Florida. I mean who could want anything less it’s some thing that give anything to be in her position. Maybe she was depressed that she didn’t have creative freedom Which caused her to feel a bit empty but a lot of people would love to be in her position right now
Sonia Siddiqui you know it’s not always about having a stable life a boyfriend etc she suffered during her childhood that probably impacted her in sooo many different ways during her adulthood
@Yuu You don’t get it. As a disabled person, who is suffering from countless mental illnesses, i would be doing a million times better if i was in Michelle’s shoes. Rich people depression is different from poor people depression. Rich people don’t have yo worry about having good doctors, having a place to stay or food on their table.

What happened to the EM store? It was supposed to be open MONTHS ago, and she even posted a video up giving us a sneak peak inside.
Now it's closed, and it's being renovated into another store.
What's up? EM not doing well, so they closed the store?
The EM store isn't happening. Business isn't going as well as they thought it would, so they're sticking to the online store only.
Plus EM cosmetics isn't that good anyway

It's the same thing that happened to Japanese entrepreneur and visual kei master Mana. You may not know him, but he had several branches of his lolita clothing line, Moi-meme-Moitie. He had locations in Harajuku, Shibuya, Shinjuku, all over Tokyo. He even had a branch in Hiroshima. However, lolita has been going out of style in Japan, and as it was never a big main fashion, the business became less successful and he had to close all branches since 2009. He still has his online store, but that is all. Like Mana and Michelle both realized, it's much harder than one may think to have a retail location. Online stores are much easier for smaller-time businesses like EM and Moitie.

There are a lot more behind this company than what she had just shown in this video. She needs to manage and coordinate everything together so her make up line can grow and that includes marketing, making connections, financing...etc. Physically it may not be like labour work but mentally it can be pretty stressful.
Michelle has worked so hard to get to where she is. She came from a poor family, had a hard childhood, and found RUclips. She has worked amazingly hard for everything she has and to be successful and make a line. So no, she doesn't not do anything. She is an extremely busy women and doesn't need people insulting her work life.
Watching this video makes me feel weird about how we always suppose others are having amazing lives just because of what we see on the internet. At the time I first watched this video I thought "wow this is what I aspire to be: successful, fulfilled, working on what I love, owning a great place for myself etc etc".
To think Michelle was overworking, stressed and anxious due to the pressure of wanting to maintain the successful life she's always dreamed of frequently makes me think what happens when you reach your goal.
You might end up happy and content but you might also get to a place you didn't necessarily anticipated. And that can take away your peace.
Watching your videos makes me so happy. I just get really happy and you're such a kindhearted person.

Sam Amanda Luck is basically opportunity + preparation. Michelle just happened to be prepared for the opportunity. She practiced what she loved and became very good at it when the opportunity arrived. She is the perfect example of 1) Find what you love to do, 2) Become good at it, 3) Monetize it. When you find the spot in life where all three of those areas overlap, you've got the perfect life - just like Michelle has here. Its not a hard formula to follow. Its just that most people are afraid to follow it. Follow this formula and you will find your perfect life as well.

Then someone sued her for loving their music and everything changed. Music industry, what can we expect? Had to just watch all her videos all over again hoping one day she will be back.
that specific music company that sued her for 7milion dollars did it to gain fame and money since michelle was getting more famous.
the music industry is generally not that bad. not saying it's better than most industries, but by far not the worst. been in this thing for a few years now, think I'm staying here for good.

ehhh, if you are a nurse and you want to work in the city(of NY)? You should get yourself prepared for the reality of working at NYC hospitals/medical facilities...IT'S NOT GOING TO BE PRETTY!!!! you will be dealing with some of the nastiest, ugliest and craziest people and things....I am from NY, in case you don't want to believe me....good luck with you anyways

If L'Oréal does animal testing please tell them to stop if you Google image search L'Oréal bunny you will see what L'Oréal does to animals **I do not intend to offend anyone im just a concerned subscriber**
She can't just tell them "Hey, can you stop doing animal testing?" EM cosmetics won't be anything without L'oreal. I'am against with animal testing but it's hard to tell a popular makeup company to stop doing animal testing. L'oreal owns EM cosmetics so they can easily just cancel their company.

I think i saw a comment from EM under EM Cosmetic channel, the people from Em said none of their products test on animals. I am sure i saw somewhere but just forget under which video. I think sometimes the high price is reasonalbe, ( i am not saying i am satifisfy and fan all the product from EM, but at least some of them work on my face) .EM need more money to do their science thing to make sure the product are safe without test on animals like this or to create new fomula. New science and tech need money. Because, the main line (which is cheaper in our drug store, they do test on poor animals which can save the company money and make cheaper product.

Yes
I believe she calls her video productions a production company since she creates them from concept to set up to editing. But the makeup line is made by L'Oreal, so she has her own office in L'Oreal for Em.

It's all here in her bio. It's funny, I'll just never understand how or why people made her this successful. Her old videos are pretty boring, her makeup skills are average. The only thing that is a stand out is her ability to make mini films doing some interesting fantasy looks. I find her online persona a bit creepy. I watch maybe one video every couple of months just to see what's so frickin' big about her. Still don't get it. And I still have not subscribed. Why oh why do girls fork over so much money and adoration over a RUclipsr, and why can't they invest time in cultivating their own identities and interests instead of wanting to be her?
