On a side note, my bestie ingame is a Klee main and she played Yanfei (she gave her klee items to yanfei and yanfei was level 1, this was to raise her friendship level for namecards). She got frustrated by yanfei's charged attack not going off when she wanted to animation cancel. I think they could give a tiny buff to Klee and Yanfei. But knowing hoyoverse they won't. Or they will buff it with a artifact set. But I think animation differences should be adapted based on the fact that newer characters just get better animations. There are a lot of people that love Klee and Yanfei. It's kind of a shame that they wont help the older characters out a bit.
If you have his signature weapon, then ignore this video because it only boosts Normal Attack damage, which means you want to spam normal attacks only. With his signature weapon + 10% more attack speed (either c1 or artifact set), the optimal combo becomes this: Charged attack, then use skill then -> N3, N3, Dash, N3, N3, Dash, N3, N3, Dash, N2, Burst. (N3 means normal attack 3 times). Other than first charged attack, you never have to charge attack again except in very rare cases of more than 4 big enemies. Due to his weapon making N3 a better combo than CN2 or CA, that means adding dash adds even more DPS. Dashing to animation cancel during N3 does not lose dps. Dashing any other time will lose dps, which is why you can't do it during the combos in this video because it wastes time when not animation cancelling.
you can spam charged attack a lot faster during your elemental skill. pretty sure I can fit 17 charged attacks within the duration of non-infused elemental skill.
The best combo depends in how much you invested in wanderer, his signature and constelations all buffs his NA, so the more cons you get more viable the Na combo becomes, but if you are a c0 no signature weapon the highest Dps you can obtain comes from Ca spam, as artifacts buffs it a lot
Thanks a lot for the information mate. I was wondering this. I did notice indeed that the charged attack was aoe, so its probably better to spam charged attacks with more mobs. Vs single target however its Charged > normal > Normal. By the way, I use the same team as you but instead of Zhongli I use Layla. Not because her shield is stronger than zhongli LOL. But more because she can provide easy cryo on the enemy simultanious with the bennet pyro application. This makes sure you get 20% free crit rate/30% crit damage from his passive. If you dont have the 117% crit rate (HAHA) I think this can benefit you for the better. The tradeoff is a smaller shield and less damage on Layla. But the + side is that you can put Zhongli on your other abyss team if preffered. I think a lot of people underestimate Layla. She works wonders with wanderer and is so easy! Just slap a favonius sword, some crit rate and hp on her and you're good to go. Basically cryo 4 star zhongli without the stun. Favonius also procs while her shield is on, giving the particles to the character thats on field. This is great to help faruzan get her ult back way faster especially if faruzan also has favonius bow. Layla does not need the energy that much herself as with 2 favonius weapons, she will get her ult back without needing to have her on field.
I believe you weren’t actually getting all of the charged attacks that you could get in your charge attack only testing. I get around 15 per e cast. I feel like this could change the outcome quite a bit.
This is without his sig weapon and artifact set though, so it's already 20% aspd difference. But in this test it doesn't matter because all tests were done using the same setup.
@@GenshinDPSCalc there's a trick to his CA so that you can cancel the animation before his CA ends. You just need to time it right. But CA is better in aoe damage and NA is better on solo as you can see in your video.
@@Psicko. For standard's sake, i found the highest value of each attack (CA, NA1, NA2, NA3/4) and used these values to calculate the damage. I did this due to there being varying ranges of damage mostly due to the Anemo Resistance the boss has and changes as it goes through its attack patterns. Values of the attacks are listed below if you wish to do your own research. CA only if 15 per E cast 15 CA per cast equates to about 251242 dmg CA only if according to recorded 11 CA per cast equates to about 185842 dmg NA only if according to recorded 5 NA combos with additional 2 NA1 and NA2 attacks equates to about 188754 dm N+N+C combo if according to recorded 5 CA and 6 NA1 and NA2 equates to about 202144 dmg Own CA experimenting without attack speed boosts (because CA speed not dependant on atk spd boosts) found that the average amount of CA that can be done settles at around 13 CA. 13 CA would equate to about 218542 dmg From this, we can conclude that indeed spamming CA at the right timing to cut off the animation is indeed the best way to do damage, however this is not as reliable due to the difficulty in timing it perfectly to reach the optimal amount of CA per E cast. If you did the calculations for yourself and found flaws in my assessment please send feedback as this would help everybody find the most efficient form of dealing damage with the wanderer. It's kinda sad that wanderer seems has low damage as dps. I ma free to play, i kinda regret pulling for him, but i will try to level him up, still his fun to play, I hope mihoyo buff his kit like when he cast his hover mode he can suck enemy (group them up) and more damage in his charge atack in hover mode. I myself dont really have any complaints, outside of him being easily knocked down in his ability, the fact that if you ult his skill ends, and the simple fact of him not being able to fly at high speed for a really long time
Yeah, make his E or charge attack sucks enemy just like Faruzan, that would be great. Also, if they make his blue bar does not go down when he's not attacking in the battle mode, that would solve many issues. I don't mind getting knocked down or dodging as long as it doesn't take away my damage quota for that E. So players can be free to dodge or reposition without worrying the dps loss. (should only work in battle mode though to avoid exploration abuse)
i do agree i did pull him on f2p account and it isnt great he meant for old player with lots of weapon and primos, but i will pull him in my main account because i already have 500 wish prepared
hmm, i have doubts about charge spam. Without hydro buffs, I can spam a total of 13 charge attacks and with hydro buffs i do a total of 16 charge attacks..
Faruzan, ganyu, yelan/xing/ kokomi/ayato, wanderer. Use normal atk cause ca applies 2 units of anemo and blizard Or charge atk if normal build. It works. I use rosaria instead of ganyu

Now that you mention attack speed from C1, I suspect that the attack speed from both his BiS artifact set and his signature weapon also do not affect his CA.. If this is true, then he is actually better with NA combo instead.. 🤔

Other attack speed sources - yunjin c6 and ayato c4 also only affects his normal (at least, that's what the description suggests, specifying normal attack speed). Jean c4 should affect both normal and charge since it states "attack speed" which should be universally applicable.
Well tbh it is amazing if she is C6, he will be really strong. However it is not that mandatory unless you really want to play Faruzan/want scaramouche per se to deal the damage. The idea is to use something like a national team. Going Scaramouche/Xiangling/Xingqui/bennet already goes a long way to deal damage. I would however in that scenario pick for the veridiscent venerer. This makes him more of a driver than a damage dealer because his own dps will be lower. Kinda like sucrose, without the cc but more mobility and more swirl procs. They are both very viable for this though and I don't think I would call one better over the other with this comp because they both fill a unique niche in these comps. Do note that without faruzan you wont have the anemo team buff, so it does make your exploring a tiny bit slower and his flying a bit slower. Every build with faruzan included though, I would not go for veridiscent venerer. His best in slot would be desert pavilion chronicle as the team is then based more on his personal dps. I still plan on using the team with Faruzan though. But mine is C4. I will have to wait until her next banner comes up to try and make her C6. It's still good damage at this point though. I'm already deciding about if I want to pull for his weapon next time (10% attackspeed) and his C1(another 10%). I wonder how he feels then as he already feels amazing.
@Artaleas Ham agreed. I'm only c4 faruzan and I've given up. Gonna save my pulls for raiden. After trying several teams I've settled with Thoma, bennet, faruzan, Wanderer. I've given faruzan VV and Wanderer desert. Bennet has nobless and Thoma has millelith. Seems to work well. Im almost done Leveling up Thoma.

She is known to be an amazing battery for any element, so if you use someone with high energy costs it's a bang for your buck.
Oh my god in what scenario is he "weak"? I don't know about this vid but his CA can do like 70k. 90k if you count the abyss buff this round! If u spam it like 14 times during his skill it yields like 900k dmg in just 14 SECS?! And if you include his burst that's more than 1 million dmg in a single rotation. Idk what you gatcha players think what is strong and not strong. But so long if you clear 36 abyss with ease i'm pretty satisfied with him.

From my experience using scara, doing NA3 into NA2CA feels very comfy aswell as does a good bit of damage Another thing I do in aoe situations, is NA3 -> NA2CAD (obviously only dash whenever you get the visual queue that his passive activated) Fairly easy to execute, but i really wouldn’t suggest CA spam, it does numbers but hey if you wanna use his charged attack, spam it to your heart’s content 🫶🏻✨

Full CA spam great for multiple enemies, CA-N1-N2 best for single big bosses.
Imo national wanderer is very good and I’d like to run the desert pavilion set

You are too slow with the charged attacks. If you were faster you'd easily outdps the other 2 combos.
