    Correction to my typo below. That should be "home screen." And once again, great video. I like that rail station also.

    Two great looking locomotives and one l-o-n-g train. Train going the other way at end of video? Was also neat that you captured that old caboose in your video. I like those cross tracks, neat stuff. Keep that camera rolling and keep more surprises coming to our home scree.

      Thank you! This was the HESR train coming to interchange with the CN so they pulled down to clear the switch to home rails and reversed into the CN yard

    Nice flying/ hovering, Scott. How much mph wind can mavic handle? Great video, as always. - Drew

      @ScottTaipaleRail  5 лет назад +1

      Thank you Drew! It is rated for 22 mph. If it’s getting close to that or even above I’ll stay close and low. I’ll let it hover to see if it will stay stable and fly into the wind to see if it will handle the conditions

      That is what I hear my friends say too. My cheap quadcopers can only handle under 10 mph wind. Ha ha. I use it more to fly fast instead of photography. They have cameras but not like dji quality. I'm okay with that. It is acfun hobby.

    When you are in the mountains in Montana you expect to hear nothing but wildlife for background noise. When you watch a rail video you want to hear loco engines and clickety-clack. Thanks

      I mean no narration

      Thank you!! Narrations can really be irritating if your listening to the track or the power hum!

    What's with the sudden reversal of the train?

    • @ScottTaipaleRail
      @ScottTaipaleRail  5 лет назад +1

      This is the HESR train coming to interchange with CN. They are shown coming off their connection at the beginning and pulling down til the rear is clear of the switch, then they reversed back into the yard

    • @ScottTaipaleRail
      @ScottTaipaleRail  5 лет назад

      They’re painted in the Genesee &Wyoming livery that the parent company paints all their shortlines
