Beginner crocheter here. Cant wait to make this! Its so helpful to be able to bring up yarn when changing colors instead of connecting with knots. Thank you for the beautiful pattern!😊
First, I love the way you’re doing these single stitch tutorials lately.. you make it so easy to follow. I never would have tried many of the stitches otherwise…. But being a cat person, I respectfully want to tell you this is very close to other cat stitches I’ve seen.. The difference is, it’s three rows, the third making the shape of the cats head/ears more clear. Changing colors every three rows. That being said, after watching this, I’m more excited about trying to make a lap blanket of cats 🐈 ❤Thank you!
I see cats!! I love it with lots of detail in the looks but such a simple 2 row repeat. Thank you Im going to use this for something for Christmas. 🌲🎄❄️⛄
Loving all these tutorials in prep for the Sampler blanket, but I especially was excited for this one! I got the apricity yarn and wanted to start on the Metro scarf but I was struggling with written pattern as I learned crochet via YT tutorials. The moment I saw this video popup, I was like, that is the stitch I've been trying to figure out 😄
Love this stitch! I think I'm going completely rogue with the CAL. I'll mix & match my favorite squares from both designs & change the SNOW square to CATS.
It's a great pattern! I'm searching you're youtube right now for inspiration for a weddingdress that I'm thinking of crocheting myself. This pattern might be a good match for the tophalf, breast and back so to speak. I made a swatch in the yarn that i might use, and it doesn't seem to streatch to bad.
Lolol I looked up from my project to refresh my memory on foundation stitches and thought you held your hook and yarn in the weirdest way I’d ever seen…until I realized my phone was upside down 😊
Toni, I’m excited to try this one! It’s soooo pretty! And even though I’m still an absolute beginner, I think I can do this! Could this be taken up to a throw size?
very beautiful stitch, but I do not see the cats which is sad because I like cats 😊. And as usual so clearly explained and shown how to do this. Will sure try it out myself
Well know I see cats, which is perfect as mine was sleeping on my lap while I watched. Would this stitch work with bulky yarn to make a blanket? The way you changed colors do you just leave that yarn on the edge of the piece? Could you switch to using another color with the first color if you're making a blanket? So that you would end up with three colors or even use two new colors for subsequent rows? Thanks for the video.
I really love your videos, patterns and yarn. And I have followed you for a few years. Most of the times I have no trouble with your tutorials. But in this one you’re just going too fast for me. I wish you would slow down just a little bit for those of us who’ve never done the stitch before.
I DO SEE CATS!!! I wanna make this for my friend who loves cats, this is so precious!!!
I see the cats!!! My 4 year old daughter LOVES this stitch!! I'm going to make her a blanket with it one day...

Amazing
I’m doing something similar for my temperature scarf for this year
This is beautiful. Would you be able to show us how to tunisian with a hook with a cable and a bead at the other end?
hi! I have several videos on the topic. check out this one - ruclips.net/video/dWSz4AEKggY/видео.htmlsi=uLZfCVt9SVUNdBWT
Beautiful 😍 pattern 🧶👍🏾
What colors of Lazy Days did you use? I love that combo!
AH HA! That’s how you do the foundation stitch!!!
Toni, I’m excited to try this one! It’s soooo pretty! And even though I’m still an absolute beginner, I think I can do this! Could this be taken up to a throw size?
It sure could! Adjust the starting stitch multiple, then crochet until it's the size you like :-)

This stitch should have been called The Sitting Kitty Stitch instead. 😊
I see cats
Nah,i don't see them. I think it's the yarn though. I've seen this stitch before and they were more obvious.
