They haven’t yet but at least they got a true superstar in Embiid. The Warriors tanked in 2020 because they lost their three best players (KD to free agency and Steph and Klay to injury). They essentially just punted that season away and waited for them to get healthy. Now they are and you see the results. Also they took James Wiseman 2nd overall and he’s done absolutely nothing as a pro so far.

That game 7 with the Suns and Mavs might be the biggest choke i think i've ever seen i mean the Suns didn't even try, and this is coming from a team who looked like the best team up until that point and i know the regular season doesn't mean a single thing and you don't play as hard because it's the regular season and when you know your gonna make the playoffs so why even bother. Here's the thing about that though even in the post season the Suns look like the team to beat. The previous two seasons the Warriors have had without Klay are similar to the two dynasty Bulls seasons without Jordan. Two dynasties that were temporarily stopped. As a Heat fan watching Butler almost literally drag Miami to a finals was pretty painful. On the plus side we might get some help if the Sixers blow up entirely.
They did shoot, the ball just did a "fuck you" and chose to not go in. They had plenty of open looks in that series, it was like the league put an invisible lid on the basket for every 3 point shot. If just one of Giannis' teammates not named Jrue Holiday had some semblance of shooting, the Bucks win the series easily
Defense wasn't the problem. Offense was and any offense will struggle when the #2 guy in Khris Middleton goes down to injury. That one injury put guys in roles they were not supposed to be in like George Hill who would not have played much at all if Middlteton did not go down. They damn near beat he Celtics without him and likely would have beaten them if he had not been injured.

The best thing about this matchup is that both teams played in the inaugural Basketball Association of America season. With it being the 75th Anniversary season, it feels fitting that it would end up being two original NBA teams meeting up in the Finals. I'm sure the NBA was hoping for something like this to happen; where two early NBA teams meeting up in the Finals. I'm sure the NBA was hoping for Lakers-Celtics, but the Lakers didn't even make it into the playoffs this year. So I'm sure the Warriors were probably the next best thing.

The last shot from Butler was a decent choice, actually. Butler played all 48 minutes, he knew he didn't have anything left for OT. Better to try and end it than to tie. I don't think he'll hear about that one too much.

The issue is that Butler had a decent bit of time left on the clock. He had fourteen seconds to set up for a three-point shot. Besides, if he did make the three, Boston has ten seconds of their own to set up a dagger.

I think when we got to the playoffs the finals were somewhat predictable, but there was a point this season the Celtics were like like 23-28 or something. The turnaround has been pretty incredible and made for some fun games.

As a Bucks fan I can't go too hard on them. The fact that they took Boston to Game 7 despite being massively outmanned is an accomplishment. They'll be back as long as they fix up the depth. That game 7 with the Suns and Mavs might be the biggest choke i think i've ever seen i mean the Suns didn't even try, and this is coming from a team who looked like the best team up until that point and i know the regular season doesn't mean a single thing and you don't play as hard because it's the regular season and when you know your gonna make the playoffs so why even bother. Here's the thing about that though even in the post season the Suns look like the team to beat. Chris Paul finally look like he was gonna get that ring and then maybe retire but instead to lay that egg and essentially rage quit your chance to make the finals is just so Suns like but more importantly so much of a choke.

Defense wasn't the problem. Offense was and any offense will struggle when the #2 guy in Khris Middleton goes down to injury. That one injury put guys in roles they were not supposed to be in like George Hill who would not have played much at all if Middlteton did not go down. They damn near beat he Celtics without him and likely would have beaten them if he had not been injured.

The best thing about this matchup is that both teams played in the inaugural Basketball Association of America season. With it being the 75th Anniversary season, it feels fitting that it would end up being two original NBA teams meeting up in the Finals. I'm sure the NBA was hoping for something like this to happen; where two early NBA teams meeting up in the Finals. I'm sure the NBA was hoping for Lakers-Celtics, but the Lakers didn't even make it into the playoffs this year. So I'm sure the Warriors were probably the next best thing.

The last shot from Butler was a decent choice, actually. Butler played all 48 minutes, he knew he didn't have anything left for OT. Better to try and end it than to tie. I don't think he'll hear about that one too much.

The issue is that Butler had a decent bit of time left on the clock. He had fourteen seconds to set up for a three-point shot. Besides, if he did make the three, Boston has ten seconds of their own to set up a dagger.

So the question simply becomes do I take a good shot and run back for a stop, or do i burn some clock at the expense of letting the defense recover. Basically Jimmy liked his chances of stopping Boston's offense better than he liked his chances of foiling their defense in another 10 seconds. It was a split-second decision with sound basketball judgment in my book.

Lol you're so salty about the Warriors only facing "injured teams" but if Boston also faced the Bucs without Middleton (primary Tatum/Brown defender) and the Heat without Herro and a half injured Lowry. Not to say injuries don't suck, you always want teams fully healthy but if you watch the NBA postseason enough, there are always injuries in every team, it's just a part of the game. We were lucky GSW, BOS were healthy in the finals
Nobody wants to watch the same team winning over and over again plus their fanbase is toxic and we don’t need or want that

Great video. The Suns , Nets , Bucks and Sixers were very disappointing in not making at least the conference finals. And tree did make a great point on all the Stars being injured. I wonder if someone has made a video on how this new high octane offense in this generation has caused a lot of wear and tear and injuries to all these star players (Kawhi, Murray, dame, Middleton , Klay just coming back after a 2 year absence)
Love the video, but Giannis was amazing during that series. First player ever with 200 points 100 rebounds and 50 assists in a series.
As a Bucks fan I can't go too hard on them. The fact that they took Boston to Game 7 despite being massively outmanned is an accomplishment. They'll be back as long as they fix up the depth. Darvin Ham leaving will be tough but I have faith in Patty St Andrews to step into his place and be the top assistant under Coach Bud. I expect big things in 2023, DON'T LET ME DOWN!

I am a nuggets fan but I have firmly hitched my bandwagon to the Warriors. If for no other reason then to say we lost in a series that was closer then it looked without our second and third best
