Your title is XV1 not ZV1. That aside I don't understand why Sony cripple these new so called "vlogging" cameras with bad digital crop-stab. And they overheat at 4K like no one's business. In fact their older cameras were better. The latest has no IBIS and are mostly overpriced. And they are horrible for photography with no mechanical shutter and menu-buried controls.
@@TheDesertsweeper thanks, I’ll have to fix the title. My guess is like everything it comes down to price, and cost. I have never had one of these cameras overheat and I live in rural Australia where it gets very hot regularly. I had the original ZV1, I also still have the Sony ZVE10, which I have had for years, never overheated. I sometimes feel the overheating thing is overstated. The only cameras I have ever had overheat were GoPros, they were almost useless, and the amount of video footage I have lost due to overheating GoPros is staggering, under the same conditions the Sony cameras never overheated. I have been a hobby photographer since I was 12, even used to develop and print my own photos before digital cameras existed. After extensive research I can not find a better camera for RUclips style video. In saying that people need to use what they feel comfortable with. 👍and yes I agree there are better cameras for photography, but I use the Sony ZV E10 these days, I have lenses and filters covering 10mm to 200mm and I deal with it, as it’s also a RUclips camera and I can not justify the cost of having another camera for photography. When I travel I take both cameras, day to day I use the one in this video.
