👏👏👏 sitting here catching up on ur podcasts after having to take a break to move house. Lovely new projects. So sad that ur shirt didn't work out, but I'm sure u will find a solution. Great seeing u again!! 🖤
I love our Laulu Shawl. It is the first I've heard of it. Yours looks so cozy and the colour is great. Really enjoyed this episode. Best wishes from a Canadian knitting podcaster!
We do always go through it. Just plugging on works wonders. Really some projects just need to be taken apart to repurpose the yarn. I always think of it as a win win. I’ve been knitting a long time and frogged quite a few projects that became something other. Knit a Sophie scarf as a palette cleanser. Gifting is nice too.
Hey Hailey!!! It's me Janice from our Hooping for Hope Half Marathon days!! Seems like forever ago. Look at you with a knitting podcast! I started knitting years ago but only off and on. I still consider myself an adventurous baby knitter. I'm so excited about your knitting podcast.
Janice! How fun!! I can’t believe you stumbled upon me here. And it WAS forever ago!! Thank you so much for commenting and spending your time with me. So happy to reconnect!!
Hi Hailey! I have to agree with your husband, that green is absolutely beautiful on you. I have felt frustration in my knitting many times...but it will pass and you will learn from mistakes along the way. Although not sure if your top was your fault...may just be the fabric itself. I am wanting to knit the Sophie scarf for myself, already knitted one for my daughter n love. Anyway, thanks for sharing your knitting with us all, and love the Instagram saves!
I do need to cast on a Sophie Scarf for myself soon too!! I can’t be left out. 😆 Glad you enjoyed the Instagram Saves. It’s fun to explore designers and patterns.
Thank you for this video. I was watching your video while knitting my Cumulus tee. I had the same problem as you for the sleeves that were to long under the arm (the raglan part). I had to redo the sleeves, do less rows of raglan and it has worked very well. I will do i-cord binding for the first time… wish me luck! And I am jealous of the lucky person in your life who will get this knit! Elise
Hi Elise!! I hope your icord bind off went well. I’m sure it did!! Yes, so disappointing but I just wasn’t in the mindset to to adjust it like you are. Not to worry! I’ll make one for myself eventually. In the meantime, it’s a lovely top and I’m sure wherever it lands, it will get lots of love. Thanks so much for watching and commenting!! Hope you’ll be back again. xo
Hi Hailey, I’m kind of in the same place you are with your knitting. I totally frogged a pair of socks that I had knitted they were too big, a top that I’ve restarted three times and a shawl that I’ve reknitted the same two rows four times. I’ve finally got the two rows right watching your episode. The green scarf you knitted is a beautiful color on you. I do think you should knit a sweater out of it. Thanks you for another great episode.
Well I hope those two right rows are now many more for you!! Some knitting days are better than others, I suppose! Thanks so much for watching and commenting. xo
Love your video even when not all things are rainbows and butterflies. Thanks for sharing the frustration cause we all been there is just realistic. Also love the saves section so keep bringing it up. 💕
I really like wathing your podcast. The Cumulus Tee looks so beautiful but I can understand, that you don´t want to work on it any more. Greetings from Germany Heike
Thank you so much Heike. It is so lovely! I wish it fit me the way I envisioned. BUT maybe it’s a head start on gift knitting. We shall see!! I am so appreciative you took the time to watch and comment. xo
regarding your cumulus blouse, why don't you try using a delicate washing cycle and a dryer... I unintentionally have shrunk my silk curtains and a silk blouse of my husband so now I have a new blouse for myself and a short curtains. It might just work for you too. I also did shrunk a linen/merino blouse that I knitted and was to big and long, and it did shrunk perfectly, you have to check it it every so often so you don't get a baby size. Happy knitting
I would most definitely “frog” the silk stocking stitch top 👍🏼👍🏼 The yarn is too beautiful to not appreciate the garment construction. 🌸

Love Clara Parkes' books! I haven't read this one.
I’m so excited. The Camilla Fiber Co is one of the yarns I bought while there in Nashvile a couple weeks ago. I’m so excited to try it. 💖
Thanks so much for watching and all of your comments!! You picked the right yarn to take home with you. What a treat it will be to knit with!! xo

I’m so glad you like the SAVES. I have plenty, so I definitely will!
Hi Hailey just came across your podcast and loving it. Also just subscribed. Listening to you from Melbourne Australia.
Oh I’m so glad you enjoyed watching!! xo
The Cumulus Tee is gorgeous!! I bet you didn't do anything wrong. I hear that silk GROWS!
Ugh… well whatever the reason, it was disappointing. The silk in cardamom is just lovely. Highly recommend that colorway!
