Loved the tour of your shawl wall, Hailey! Shawls for me are just one massive adult blanket that I can take with me everywhere, so I’ve always got one on me. I’ve made both the Ashby and Caroline from your pattern roundup and love them both. Can’t wait to see your next shawl adventure. 😉
Yay!! You are so right. I can totally see the adult blanket usefulness!! I love that those two have a bit more body to them. SOOOOO excited for upcoming shawl adventures (with friends). 🤗
Your design aesthetic inspires me! I love your photo on this vlog with your hair combed back, smartie girl glasses and your Pressed Flower Shawl. My most favorite shawls that I have knit are: Boho Style Mosiac by Irene Lin, Sunday Morning Shawl by Espace Tricot, Melissa Clulow of Sonder Yarn, and Pressed Flower. I will be setting up a shawl wall before the day’s end!! ❤❤
Oh thank you!! This is how I style my hair when it’s been a couple weeks too long between cuts. Haha! I love to Boho Style Shawl. It’s on my list. I will definitely check out the others.
I am a big shawl knitter and "wearer". I always need something really cozy around my neck. No favorite here. I have a big collection and pick the perfect one according to my outfit of the day. Just discovered your podacast and have enjoyed chatting with you this weekend ;-)
I'm working on the Shí Nalí Shawl (by Tressa Weidenaar) right now. And one of my favorite shawls in the Golden Hour shawl by Andrea Mowry, that one knit up so fast in worsted weight and I always get compliments on it. Thanks for sharing your shawl wall, you've done some beautiful work! Inspires me to make a shawl wall in my house 😊
This is the first time I’ve seen the Shí Nalí shawl. I love it! It’s added to my favorites. And yes, you should make one. It’s lovely to admire your work and it will help you remember to wear it. If you do post, tag me do I can see!
Oh love love!! You’re inspiring me with every podcast!! I’ve knit 2 Vertices and MUST knit another Moonstruck Knits mosaic!! Don’t wear them much but the process is KEY. 5 or 6 Half and Half TrIangle wraps, still in storage 😊😊😊😊
Wonderful!! The field shawl is one of my Ravelry favorites too. Anything in particular you liked about this episode that you’d like to see more of from me?
Love all your beautiful shawls. But not really a shell wearer. I curious as to the sweater you’re wearing in the video. I love it and think I need it on my wardrobe. Thanks Julie
The one with the scallop hem? That’s the Tulip Sweater by Melody Hoffman. I’ll be sharing all about it in my next episode. There’s much to tell about that experience!
Funny story... i have only knit one shawl, or scarf, the Hitchhiker. I wore it to a wedding once, and a complete stranger came up behind me and said "hitchhiker?" 😂 It took a moment because it wasnt a recent FO at the time, but i recovered quickly and confirmed! I find wearing shawls around my neck causes me to get headaches, so i don't knit them much, but some of the recent designs are calling my name anyway 😊
I probably really need a shawl wall. I have so many of them and forget to grab one when I’m on the go. Imgoi g tk think about where I can have my shawl wall also. Great episode 💖🤎😍
I loved knitting Andrea Mowry’s Satellite Shawl. Would love to do the pressed flowers shawl and vertices unite. Can I please ask what slipover pattern you are wearing. Love it and may need to add it to my knit list. Love your episodes 😊
@@Knitweekend Yes, the Satellite shawl is a mix of garter, short rows and two color brioche. Very fun to knit. Thanks for the info about the slipover. I will have to add it to my queue 😃
Hi there- I’m a shawl lover too- but am wondering about the vest you are wearing in this video- a beauty- what is the pattern/designer please? Thanks for the inspiration
@@Knitweekend thanks so much for taking the time to reply, it’s so appreciated. I’ve been binge watching (and taking notes!!)- and somehow you must have let this slip elsewhere. I’ve the required yarn on order- especially loved that it was available in the U.K. Cannot wait. I loved the pop of gold at the collar…This will be my third ever garment, so fingers crossed. I started knitting 6 months ago. The Moby slip over I loved too, but haven’t quite yet had the courage. I’m plodding through my second colour work sock, and so far not loving it- fingers crossed cables are a little more enjoyable. I love your style and the fact that your knits are ‘wholesome’. Happy New year to you from 🇬🇧. All the best, and looking forwards to future videos, Lara.
Good morning! Happy to see you for breakfast this morning ! I love thé Zoë Shawl by @cecilequitrcote (#Zoebycecile) I love mine… and would love to make another in a more luxurious yarn! I love your vertices unites!
I keep seeing the press flower shawl and boy Im feeling it!
It is a great knit! I highly recommend it. Plus it’s a great time to cast it on with loads of company 💁♀️
❤❤❤TU. I love shawls
That Lea Scarf has been in my queue for what feels like forever. I really need to cast it on soon!
Sara, you must cast it on! It’s one of my most enjoyable small projects. I will definitely knit another.
My go to favourite shawl is an oldie but goodie - Paris Toujours by Isabell Kraemer
Im obsessed with your shawl wall- always inspiring 😍
🤗🤗🤗
Superscript Shawl by Amor Esperanza is a stunner, and an absolute favorite! Also, Fleche and Angler by Jill Zielinski!
Both of these are great!! Added to my favorites. Thanks so much for sharing.
I really like the pressed flower shawl and am now inspired to try mosaic knitting!
It’s a great time to cast it on. You’ll be in plenty of good company!

A grab and go shawl wall is just what I need in my life. What a great idea! I'm currently knitting the Farah Shawl by Florence Spurling.
Do it!! And I loooooove the Farah Shawl. I’m a bit afraid it’s beyond my skill at the moment. But definitely on my list.
Love all your shawls and your color choices yummy
Thanks so much, Sandra!!
Helen Stewart is my favorite shawl designer
I have never heard of her but I will check her out. Thanks so much for sharing!!

Hi Aude!! Thanks so much for watching. 🤗 I’ve come to really enjoy having something warm on the back of my neck. It’s so comforting.
I made the Anthe and loved it. I'm definitely going to make the Artus in January when moonstruck knits hosts a KAL!
I will have the Artus on my needles then too!! Anthe may be more toward summer, I think.
I recently made the Ziggy Triangle from Leila Raven, it was so fun and looks so beautiful!
That looks like a perfect advent or scrap project!

Allyson, this is hysterical!! I can just picture the look of insult/confusion/understanding that would come over my face if I were in that situation.
