Georgie is adorable and I loooove your pressed flower shawl. I have bought this pattern the day it came out and can’t wait to knit it this fall. You just inspired me again to knit it 💖
Love that you're sharing your saves from IG and that you are focusing on more unknown designer/ designs! Sometimes I have the feeling my feed is quite boring because everybody seems to knit the same...
You are amazing! Seed stitch to start with! I started crochet first then knitting. I started knitting slippers over 40 years ago and still knit these slippers to this day! And I will be going off to purchase the Beautiful Pressed Flowers Shawl! What a great start to color work!
I would love to see some of your first garments. I have not been able to convince myself to get started yet on an actual sweater. Although I must say following, I think it was Elizabeth's instructions (in her book) I did manage to knit a skirt with little 'flares' at the bottom. Don't know where it's gone to.
What bill did you knit your skirt from? I have Knitting Without Tears, but it seems quite the opposite to me. If that were the only garment patterns someone had experienced, I can TOTALLY understand feeling intimidated.
@@Knitweekend It wasn't a pattern but more instructions on how to design your own. It could have been another well known knitter (Barbara?) whose book I was reading. Idk. Most of my books are in storage so I can't look it up. Actually it was a very good experience for me. I understood the instructions and did a very good job of it I thought even though it was a plain a-line skirt with flounces... A skirt would be easier maybe than a sweater tho.
Loving your content - thank you so much. I’m going to attempt the Pressed Flower Scarf using your colour suggestions - I’m looking at the Linen Quill online and wondering how true to the actual colour you have chosen is the rose granite and the Twig Brown? Francesca
Hi and Thank you!! Based on what I am seeing on my screen right now, I’d say the twig brown is slightly darker in person and the rose granite has a tad more of a purple undertone to it. But they are both lovely in person. You can see another photo on my Instagram feed that I think is pretty true to life.
Thanks for sharing vest #69. It is now saved in my Ravelry Favourites. 💕
Love the segment of newly saved projects. Great seeing you again. Truly lovely kitty 😊
Oh great!! I’ll include that in future episodes. Thanks for watching again!!
Georgie is GORGEOUS! Can you PLEASE PLEASE introduce her with every new video?! 💕💕💕 She is so beautiful.

Thanks for recommended beginner sweaters! I want to try one soon. Thus far I’ve learned to knit hats, socks and scarves/shawls.
Love your Wave of Change pullover. Thanks for talking about your Pressed Flowers shawl. Georgie is so cute! 🐱
It’s a great sweater pattern with an even better message behind it. The pattern preface is powerful.

Tina, you’re so right. It’s easy to get caught in a feedback loop thanks to the algorithm!!!

Hello Georgie!! 🐾🐾
You are a natural at podcasting! Please share the name/designer of the easy cardigan you mentioned as one of your firsts.
Oh thanks Lucile! Maybe you are looking for the Mouliné Cardigan by Lene Holmes Samsoe? I’ll do a project recap in my next full length episode.

Nothing wrong with being danish 😜😜😜
We ALL wish we were Danish!! I’ll be in Copenhagen in a few weeks and I’ll be loving every Danish moment.

Hi, just thought I would share another podcaster I recently found who is from Nashville as well; Alexa from Hey Alexa, Knit!
