Prior is going to try anything he can due to his client has no defense. I mean look, the sister is only the sister. She had no role in the events at all. This argument that Wood is affecting the sisters opinion is irrelevant. I think we could argue the behavior of Prior is that of inappropriate throughout the trial I relation to witnesses THAT DO MATTER!

It’s weird how before the recording and the questioning from Pryor that Smith said he was not sure when he started recording. He mentioned that he might have started to record in the lobby BUT now be is so sure that it was when he was in the office after he saw Wood’s deputy. These 3 lawyers are obviously working together and desperate since they know their clients Chad and Lori are so guilty.
Seems to me Mr. Wood's objective is to get at the truth and maybe put a bug in Lori's ear to do the same. His delivery to Summer was very kind and compassionate considering the subject matter.
I have an idea let's listen to the damn tape! Jesus! Bet this is a bunch of BS and the tape is legal. Garrett here just wants in on the biggest case in his career! Sorry jmho. Both of those attys just want to talk the day away about themselves!
I’m watching this again. It strikes me as funny that the some lawyers on the bottom row lacks “ethics” in the normal understanding of the term. Prior has a prior I think, Means has received side-eye from several other attorneys and I think Mr. Smith lost a defamation suit against him from Brandon Boudreaux. Just a funny thought...
Wow! They really tried to make something out of nothing, beginning with the whiny lawyer in the meeting with his client. I question THEIR ethics or lack of ethics.
Wood has good people skills, and Prior seems to be a self-important bully, based on the way he treated the witnesses during the preliminary hearing. There is a way to make your point without showboating and belittling the witnesses, trying to make them appear stupid, but no one seems to have told Prior that.
Im sorry but really I think Mr. Smith didn't do his job by stopping the interview. I think Mr. Wood was wrong in talking bad about other Attorneys, but other than that he did nothing wrong.
Stop picking on the prosecutor. I hate the defense! He demands people remember when they can not. He is rude, and he yells! That lawyer Prior will end up like actor Prior. His face looks beet red, and he may have a stroke before 50. I bet he drinks a little too much!!

Sounded like a genuine human interaction on the tape. Mr. Wood just connecting to someone and voicing his take on the case (which sounded correct, with Lori V. losing herself in an extreme version of the religion) with someone who shares his faith and who needs to learn about a state trial fast but whom he also wants to show that the prosecutor is a fellow human. Maybe not super professional to do so, maybe even all planned out in advance, but overall it just sounds like mr. Wood needed to get something off his chest. Also the witness is an adult and didn't seem swayed by this talk to alter her statement to police. I'd even go so far that in the religion of the LDS people are used to going deep fast in their talks to each other and are wont to voicing and hearing their inner motives. They are so self reflecting each day and are used to others sharing.
I can't believe this case is real. If I saw this plot in Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, or Witcher, I'd have no problem. But as a real-life series of events, I cannot believe it.
Why are doctors and lawyers such braggarts? "I've got 27 and a half years and two months and one week of practicing law under my belt..." blah blah blah. The doctor sounds like he is giving a TED talk.
Mark Means especially was putting forward any and every motion he possibly could as he was not a lawyer for these cases, he had only done civil law from my understanding. A lot of what he filed was laughable and not even relevant at the time of filing. He has now been replaced as lead lawyer due to death penalty case. He also tweets a lot of views on twitter than are embarrassing.
I'm not wild about what Mr Wood said about Mr Means or about Mr Daybells peeing his pants. Those comments seem borderline inappropriate. I don't fell they should cause him to be removed, maybe sanctioned or reprimanded.
The fact that Wood indulged the sister w facts that he would be fairly seeking charges involving capital murder on her sister, Lori, he was giving her a more fair & truth gathering of facts in order for her to really be careful about testifying on the character of her sister which could have a negative effect on Lori’s outcome & livelihood. W/holding that info would be awful & have it come up in the trial would be very cruel & upsetting to the sister. She able to decide more in good conscious for her sis out the love she has for her. Ya know? Like Prior whb better off not bringing this up. This is earlier point about the sucky defense, Prior is pretending to have. Ppl are not that dumb, Prior - only u are, dude. I can see see right thru I. I make stupid arguments. Embarrassing for chad not that I care!
I believe the conversation that Wood had with her was to feel her out. To find out the depth of her knowledge of her sister in laws activities. Remember she is a witness for the defense and she testified basically in this tape for the prosecutor. She agreed with Wood that Lori killed her kids and asked what would be her punishment after he said that they were going to go for conspiracy to commit murder. Come on. Play back please!
Seems a set up to me, I wonder if the Lori's sister's attorney gave Means the heads up that there was going to be a meeting between the sister and Prosecutor and Means kind of suggested that it would be a good idea to record the interview, which in that state they could do secretly, after all they are sisters and blood is thicker than water. Aren't we always told by experts to go by our gut feeling and if things don't seem right, they usually aren't, well my gut feeling is that this doesn't feel right, the actions of those 3 attorneys seems really off. Why did Smith call Prior, Mr Prior and then call him by his first name John, he then realises he's slipped up and called him Mr Prior and apologises, seems they know each other a little more personally than they are trying to make out.
How is it a setup? The sister is not under any scrutiny. He has bigger things than getting sisters to disapprove of each other. In fact, that already exists.
I understand why Mr. Pryor has that last name he hast to inject something prior to whatever the next person is going to say and it turns out to be a long paragraph so he gets to talk more than anybody else on the whole video but I still like him
I think Garrett, Prior has a point, e.g. to say to a witness, Oh, I'm LDS too, could be taken as; I understand your religious upbringing/beliefs having the effect of lowering her guard too, many witnesses are nervous in that arena, I know I was. It can work both ways can't it, it can make them feel a bit apprehensive esp., saying to Summer, about the death penalty, or trying to make friends with the witness so they cooperate & feel at ease. Still for a legal trial, of this magnitude, a trial that needs to be fair, there should certain ethical standards to work within. The other point here is Garret was there with Summer, why did he not give her some guidance, it was his role to that? He should have said, Summer you shouldn't ask that question or whatever the appropriate response would have been in that legal setting. Why be there if you are not going to advise the client how to behave, why did he not ask Summer beforehand what questions she had, make a written list like an agenda so there was a script to guide her? What was he there for just to stand around and record? Why did Garrett not say, Mr Wood, I don't think this is an appropriate to be giving your personal opinion, your own religious beliefs so in this case Summer, I think we should stop the meeting? He gave her no direction whatsoever.
In thinking back I have heard lawyers say to witness so you rehearsed your testimony with your lawyer, that particular witness that was asked that then responded yes ,so what Rob Wood did was not wrong, so cry baby John PRIOR needs to take a nap, maybe he will not be winning then.😅😅😅
Well then why did you record the conversation??? You were being sneaky huh??? Why not be a man and tell him what you were doing???? Attorney Wood did his job!!! Make up your mind 25-30 year’s which is it???? And he doesn’t remember??? Truth is Truth…. Thank you Lord this kind of thing’s doesn’t happen in my state…. And I worked in the judicial system…. I mean these 2 people killed innocent children and a beautiful wife…. But they’re in heaven singing!!!!
I don’t think this is a desperate attempt. They are attorneys! These aren’t their only clients. Why would they risk their license over one case. We need a new prosecutor or later this will come up again and there will be appeals. Let’s lay the facts out and keep emotions out of this.

Especially in the preliminary hearing for Chad daybell very whiny
I believe the conversation that Wood had with her was to feel her out. To find out the depth of her knowledge of her sister in laws activities. Remember she is a witness for the defense and she testified basically in this tape for the prosecutor. She agreed with Wood that Lori killed her kids and asked what would be her punishment after he said that they were going to go for conspiracy to commit murder. Come on. Play back please!
Defense has tried to get Wood off this case from the beginning
Summer sounds like her sister and is weird to hear her speak.
Summer has a better Lawyer than Lori or Chad.
Pryor has that last name he hast to inject something prior to whatever the next person is going to say and it turns out to be a long paragraph so he gets to talk more than anybody else on the whole video but I still like him
Laurel and Hardy throwing their toys out of the cot, shame
The defense attorneys suck.
Reminds me of President Trumps impeachment
In thinking back I have heard lawyers say to witness so you rehearsed your testimony with your lawyer, that particular witness that was asked that then responded yes ,so what Rob Wood did was not wrong, so cry baby John PRIOR needs to take a nap, maybe he will not be winning then.😅😅😅
Such babies! 👶 wah wah wah!!!!
And Mr Prior isn’t squeaky clean, we all have skeletons in our closets…. Prior didn’t like the outcome so now he wants to stir the pot…. I mean these 2 people killed innocent children and a beautiful wife…. But they’re in heaven singing!!!!
Really nice 👌 😍💋 💝💖❤️
Mr woods needs to understand that Lori Vallow and her family are the mastermind here and Chad is just a puppet 🤦🏻♀️
WRONG!!
I don’t think this is a desperate attempt. They are attorneys! These aren’t their only clients.
Why would they risk their license over one case. We need a new prosecutor or later this will come up again and there will be appeals. Let’s lay the facts out and keep emotions out of this.
Rob Wood is truly the best prosecutor for this case. He’s got this in the bag!
