That should be your problem. That fuel pressure regulator, I always had bad luck with those’ I ended up just going back to stock. .. also … if it’s turned all the way in .. that’s like 80 psi … 40 psi way to much. Plus that spring would be no good inside if it’s turned all the way in. It be crushed .. so it’s either dumbing too much or it’s broke and not getting any fuel. Junk yard pocket you need b series are only 35-38 psi 40ish 45 psi if you are feeling spicy. Beyond that is turbo life really. Replace fuel pump & regulator , gauge if u want. Maybe the Integra for testing will help you 🤙 keep trying we here too help bro
You will figure it out bravus. Don't let it get to you. Any content is better than no content.... It's a project car. When you figure it out you will love it.. don't walk away from Honda.. my cars drive me insane. But I love them. Much love bro.
Don’t let them defeat you man , you got this . These cars are so fun to drive it’s worth it sometimes cause when you find the problem it be some of the simple shit ever
If you haven't tried lately I would install a pre fuel pump filter and a post fuel pump filter. Could be something in your fuel cell clogging the pump.
Check the fuel injector wiring on the engine side and the ecu side maybe one of the pins came out or a broken wire. You got this bro love your videos we will figure this out.
The fuel pressure regulator should not be bottomed out so there’s something wrong with the fuel pump ,you need to get a good gauge and fuel pump and set fuel pressure to what ever it was tuned at
DeatschWerks sponsor my boy! Keep your head up. Honestly seeing the nitty gritty is entertaining too. It’s like hanging with a homie while we try to figure out what’s up.
Bro keep your head up. When waiting for a new fuel pump let’s get out the ep3 for a cleaning, drive and update…. The real ones gonna tune in and hit the 👍🏼
Brother your videos have inspired me to get another civic. Crazy thing is i owned this car back in 2007-2008 its in the same state as I left so 17-18 years later I'm starting over! But I don't want to deal with problems after problems so I'm after stand alone compleat new harness for the chase and engine from rywire with a switch panel hopefully one day it will be on the road shit adds up real quick
Bro, if she’s not running like a queen, then it’s time to give her what she deserves with a Link ECU. Right now, she’s begging for the upgrade don’t let her down!
fuel pump forsure since that is on its way out, and also don't rule out the coil on plug kit, had a boosted LS with one and it "seemed" to work but did the same thing, put a distributor and wires to check it (fixed mine) and then rule it out
His issue started before the coil on plug. The coil on plug conversion came after trying to figure out why it's doing this. It could be the distributor still, but I doubt it because he also swapped that out before the cop too. Others are mentioning the fpr. I think that's a good start since it's completely bottomed out right now. At max his pressure should be 45psi, his issues seem to always revolve around the fuel pump, the Amazon pump hasn't been able to keep up with the pressure demand in my opinion because the fpr is busted. A new gauge, pump and regulator should be his next move.
I had a similar issue, not saying that it would be the same, but the regulator has a diaphragm in the middle of it, and mine was shot. New regulator helped. I can't remember if you already switched the regulator, but it wouldn't hurt to tey a different one.
I’ve got a monotech engine harness and obd0 to obd1 jumper for my 90 crx with a b20 swap it was completely plug and play and was only about 450 shipped. It was so worth the money you might wanna look into it.
I know it’s frustrating to not figure out the issue but we are still watching your videos. It’s all good. We all want to see khaki run again and it’s going to soo satisfying to see you find the issue. Keep it up bro.
We love you bro.. we can tell your not yourself and can tell tour hurting bro.. if you post videos of your plants growing id watch em to support you bro. Keep your head up man we understand it's a rough time right now
Head up, bro. Hopefully a new/refreshed harness and the pump will do the trick. On a side note: I'm supposed to be going to check out a supercharged AP2 S2k tonight. I really hope dude doesn't flake out. Put some positive vibes out there for me.
Take a look inside the distributor and check for any broken wires going to ckp, cyp, tdc pick ups. The cop kit still needs those signals for motor to run properly. My ls delsol started doing the same thing, wouldn't rev, missfiring sounding like a Subaru, swapped distributors issues gone. Worked me might work for you, worth a shot. 🤙 Much love
At this point whatever it is has killed some fuel pumps thats for sure. Id slap a stock regulator on just to rule that out also. Aftermarket ones look cool but are definitely not needed most times. Youll find it man! Dont give up on it, keep grinding, you put up a vid im watching it IDC what the content is, DBFam 💪🏻
Put a Honda fuel pressure reg you can buy the adaptor plate to turn it 90 deg The wiring harness doesn't look great not held up well in the dessert heat
that must be so frustrating. put up any and i'll let it play to get you paid. the coil on plug setup is getting it's cam position from the distributor. I reckon the dizzy is the problem, but I'm usually wrong. GL with it! I came for the honda content and stayed for the v8 stuff. but i wouldn't mind some more honda content.
Try a different header with a different o2 sensor bank location or same header but relocating the bank location. With my ef hatch, my oem header where the bank location is next to near the runners, ran 100%. I tested out an aftermarket header where the bank location was very far down near the catalytic converter, my car started to bog out and ran choppy but the car still run and drive, but it drove crappy. i think you might have this issue with your car? Something to do with that sensor location not reading its sweet spot, i guess.. doesn't hurt to try. You already refreshed pretty much everything, before making big changes, give this simple header swap or bank relocation a try. Or just find a header that have a bank location different from your current header. Or if you can try the oem header if you have one to test it out. That way you don't have to cut and weld to ruin anything yet. Goodluck!
Does your tank had a vacuum line to admisphere.because after 300 new pumps you can say that it is something different that breaks your pump al the time
Have you ever thought that it’s the AEM fuel pressure regulator? The nipple that it has for the vacuum line has always been an issue. Your need to bore out that nipple larger because it does idle correctly or loses pressure
Hope you're doing alright man! I've been dealing with a lot as well. Had to sell my b20 vtec ef hatch and been dealing with eviction and my father passing. I'm at absolute rock bottom but hoping things will change for the better soon! My b20 block had a cracked cylinder wall and I kept chasing a similar issue before I finally pulled the head off. Hoping you're not having the same issue I was dawg. Much love from Upstate NY!
Check ALL you sensor connectors bro trust i had a small issue today with my iac turns out it was the connector one wire was completely jus off. But check them all bro ALL sensor connectors
that happen to me on my EG b20 and it was the fuel regulator broke something inside i buy ebay regulator and problem solved think she’s running to way lean
have you bought any cheap sensors that are not oem? the reason I'm asking because I had a similar situation where the crank sensor was not letting me rev higher than 7k, switching the sensor to oem solved it
I’ve been thinking about this problem for weeks and when you were saying I went threw the entire fuel system what about the fuel cell is it vented ? Or anyway of isolating it with a diff setup no way your killing 3-4 fuel pumps with this setup somthing is not right
Maybe try printing a pin layout for the ECU and test each pin from the ecu to the sensors on the engine and make sure each wire is correctly pinned with the multi meter. Is the ecu tuned back to stock for the injectors? Just keep trying man you will find it! I've been there with swaps trying to figure shit out for weeks trouble shooting and not getting anywhere and it being the craziest things
Is that the same distributor from when you had stock ignition? I'm almost thinking it has a bad pickup in it or trash stuck to one of the magnetic pickup.
Have you possibly tried to replace the fuel pump relay? It may be going bad, once it warms up it it isn’t able to handle the voltage, I’ve had this happen before
@@DOUGHBOYSOUNDZ So if the relay is going bad, it can’t handle the voltage and won’t allow the proper power to go to the pump, which then the pump won’t flow properly, that’s why some people run a booster pump relay kit
@@ShowtymeDesignz and that can also burn out an inline fuse I just read. I’m currently having the same issue as him, through troubleshooting I found out my fuel pump wasn’t grounded well, my inline fuse housing started melting but fuse didn’t go bad. I grounded the fuel pump better and changed the fuse but car idles normal and sounds like it’s missing when I rev it. I haven’t changed the relay but now I think I’ll give it a try! I did a compression test it seems fine, I was recommended to do a leak down also, but haven’t tried that yet.
Idk much bout the dif types of engines but does this one have a crank sensor cuz that's what my car did when the crank sensor went out but I have a D series
Bro sound so frustrated 😂😂😂… don’t give up brother 😂😂
Lets get khaki to a point where she's even better and faster than before dbgaradge I believe in you guys
I’m so glad you are feeling good enough to upload videos I’m still praying for you and your family god bless you and your family 😊

I didn’t see a vacuum line on the regulator do you have one?
Bump this - reg is a good thing to suss. What type of reg is important too
That’s what I came here to say also.

im not sure if youll see my comment but have faith in the honda bro i had the same feeling with my da integra and i regret it to this day

Keep keeping your head up brother you will figure it ou
Make sure the fuel pump filter is the right direction lol I remember those videos an I'd check for a vacuum leak with the engine cold

Try a stock fuel pressure regulator my AEM reg stopped holding pressure the e85 killed the diaphragm
You can do it. ✌🏻🙏
That is the engine harness those harness give lots of problems after time had same problem with some customers
Put a Honda fuel pressure reg you can buy the adaptor plate to turn it 90 deg The wiring harness doesn't look great not held up well in the dessert heat
Have the same problem I change the crank sensor some b20 have one

A Project Is Never Really Done, Keep Your Head Up Brotha 💪🏼
Just breath and stay positive.
I wonder if it has an air leak between the intake and the head
Yo DB check your harmonic balancer also check your crank position sensor and crank position wheel❤️🤔👍🏽😊🤙🏽
Change your fuel pressure regulator those AEM ones tend to fill
Have you tried running a stock Fuel pressure regulator? Really no need for an adjustable one currently.
When you install new spark plugs make sure the ceramic is not cracked, causing it to arc out of the crack and misfire in that cylinder
Let’s go I missed you guys

It kind of acts like its in limp mode almost like when you have a check engine light on for mutli miss fire have you checked and cleared any codes
I don’t know where it is my friend because I’m in Australia I love watching you you’re my favourite car show you’re my favourite car show
I have arrived!! 🔥🔥
Why is the fuel regulator on upside-down with no vacuum line on
With the integra have heaven tried a different trans or just the shifter/cables?
Could be your harness rubbing on the diamond plate the engine control unit is mounted to in the video looks like is rubbing
Nice one bro 👍🔥💪💯
Do you have a vacuum line hooked to your regulater
Have you tried swapping out the idle control valve?
Has to be the dizzy or fuel pressure regulator..might be electrical or cracked block but I doubt those
Fuel pressure reg like everyone says mate. Its a good bet if you havent sussed already 👍
Definitely worth taking a closer look at that fuel regulator bolt shouldn't be bottomed out
Does your tank had a vacuum line to admisphere.because after 300 new pumps you can say that it is something different that breaks your pump al the time

Ignition plug on fuse box or ICM module
So i had the same regulator and my car start running like shit same as your and I went back to a stock regulator and that fixed my problems

Change the main relay since it controls fuel and spark
Check ALL you sensor connectors bro trust i had a small issue today with my iac turns out it was the connector one wire was completely jus off. But check them all bro ALL sensor connectors

What up dbfam k swap it or v8 it dude . Pudding shop has a sick v8 crx using a s10 frame if I'm not mistaken god bless yeah all who's watching
It's that hacked up OEM harness under the dash, I almost guarantee it .
Is that the same distributor from when you had stock ignition? I'm almost thinking it has a bad pickup in it or trash stuck to one of the magnetic pickup.

Hit up to PFI do a double video with the PFI crew
It’s gotta be the regulator. It shouldn’t be all the way in. It’s probably also causing the pumps to fail prematurely.
Check the diaphragm in the regulator
Check fuel rail pressure regulator
Just go weldon pump or magnum fuel pump 750 bro and pre fuel pump filter call it the day
What sparkplug are u running ? I got this probleme long time ago and i need to swap to coldest one
I’ve had similar problems. Definitely a headache.. have you thought about h2b in khaki
Dammitboy 🫡🫡🫡🫡
man comments section was going ham with bots and the video was posted SECONDS dawg lol
Since they’re money pits, will braven trade me the integra for my Ls swapped obs truck 👀🤣
Maybe k is the way😅
Oh let do it
18:42 thats the reason i k swapped my integra the b series just like to fight me
Change the fuel pressure regulator brother
