Thanks for using my style to do a video about. Means a lot. Nice work !!!
Rory Kramer DUDE. You are one of my biggest Inspirations. I can't wait to watch your show on MTV. Keep it up! ✅
whoaaaaaa lucky!
bless by papa rory kramer!
rory you are one of my inspirations
I just pressed this video cause I saw your name on it Rory! :D
I would highly recommend using a speed ramp to smooth out the effect like examples you showed in this video. Your fridge shots are super jarring because you go instantly from normal speed to 10x.
I recommend keying the speed instead of a nested hard cut. Start and slow down gradually
Will try it on my next video!!
Thank you!!
Great tutorial. Definitely gonna incorporate this in my next vid/InstaStory
This effect has been used quite alot these days! Thanks for this!
You are awesome dude...hatsoff to rory aswell....peace!!! Keep up the good work
Dreams Die When You Wake Up is my favorite video of all time.
I try to use this transition (or something similar) a lot, it's really fun to do!
Matty Brown is one of the pioneers of this effect. I encourage everyone to check out his work along with Leonardo Dalessandri if they want to see master level examples.
Most of tutorials dont show real time shooting and editing like you did. Keep doing that! good work!
This tutorial is perfect. Great work man.
Helpful as always! Love your videos!
im in love with this type of transition. thank you.
Matt Komo and Rory Kramer do this effect the best..thanks for the tips!
whoa! i've been searching for this for quite a while. thanks man!
Nice work, that was dope and straight to the point! Just what I needed to make my transitions in my videos more seamless. I dont think its wrong calling it the rory kramer effect because at the end of the day dude uses the whip in all his vids, so why not :) great content, subbed!
This is by far the easiest tutorial on how to do this, thank you!!!
Bro this is sooooooooooooo helpful!!!! I've been trying this effect forever
hello this is awesome i hope to learn this for the future. just starting too.
Really liked this video and actually never knew it existed! Learn something new every day ;) thanks dude going to use this is my next filmed video or so!!
Yeh these are examples of invisible cut. Still sick and a nice twist on an oldie.
Definitely something we've been learning to do in the past few months! For sure easier said than done (especially when you're not using pitch darkness as the transition) but it's one of those things you constantly have to keep in mind as a filmmaker which just shows how simple but also advanced this technique is! Thanks for the video Kyler!!
Thanks a lot for your time!!!.
I was wondering when someone will do this video, finally! Thank you!
Ayeeeee Kyler I've been looking for a tutorial on how this is done! Respect bro!!! Thanks for the video!
This is very cool. Thanks!
dude!! constantly killing the game my man !!
Great video man! Thanks for the advice!
I really appreciate this man! A well done tutorial. I just subscribed!
Clear, clean, concise. Solid vid brotha
Thanks! awesome tutorial bro!
I always wondered to do this effect. Thanks for the tutorial, going to try it on my next video.
Isn’t this just “in camera transitions” 😂😂
A bloody cool effect
Hey nice transition...learning new thing with each passing day 🥰
srsly? too good, cheers boss !
Got me some excitement in the belly, back to editing.
Thanks for sharing so much good stuff! Examples of the effect, music websites, a glimpse of your fridge, coolness, etc!
Jorge Rodriguez appreciate the feedback!
Awesome job! Love it!
Awesome tutorial as always.
Really solid video bro! Love the pacing, explanation, and quality! Keep this up!
GOOD work bro!! which Mirrors the HANDY SEAMLESS EFFECT a bit!!! cool Keep going........😍
man i love your tutorials!!!Keep going!!!
Thanks for this! Gonna try this in one of my next videos
thanks for this very helpful video mate.. i can use this in my cinematic vlog🙏🏻😊
Hi Guys- Firstly Thank you Kyler for another brilliant vid! Secondly i know most of us watch your stuff and mess around trying to learn new skills to use. This is where i am hoping someone can help. I run an IT college for about 450 students in a Village in Pakistan. my students are mostly from economically challenged backgrounds such as fruit and vegetable sellers. At the college we try to give them all the skills they need to be able to support themselves and their families and am happy to say we are doing Really well. We have students who are now in the market doing Web Dev, Software design and development and some are even working on Game development. What we dont have are people skilled in video editing and even the professional places here tried to make a video and it was a jumble of cuts that just looked like it was thrown together with no purpose. I am hoping there is someone here who can use clips of the college to put together a cool looking 1 minute video that our students can share on their facebook pages and websites. We are trying to instill in them that the conditions you are born in do not lock your potential unless you let it and tbh a crappy vid that does not dotheir college or that message justice would just be a big let down.. If any of you want to practice on some clips please give me a shout!
Much love!!
This is helpful!
Hey quick tip, you can use time remapping for more smooth speed transition. Love your vids man 👌
Great tutorial.
I have few questions.
Do you match the last and first frame of the footages as color and frame?
Do you use warp stabilizer on your footages. So you are using the camera handheld.
Final question is about color grading.
Which color preset or lut did you use on your fridge footage?
I would rly like the settings for the camera to shift focus like that....
Love your videos you helping me/us so much and that's all for free
I love your videos ..I have so many of your presets and you inspire me so much !!!!!!!!-
Dude awesome video!!
Awesome!
Excellent, man!
Mad props to you man all your videos have helped me so much
Brilliant tip bro
I find this transition works best with the whole of each clip at 100% speed and just cutting between two corresponding movements, (tilting cam up cuts into tilting cam up, etc.) works even better if the cut is between two similar colours or two visually similar frames.
Great tutorial man! This is will help our future videos, I really appreciate your insight and videos! Keep it up!
what was that soundtrack used in the clip?
amazing tut.. ive been looking for it since a long time.. well done 👏
Thx!
You're a Legend! I was looking for this effect! thank You Bro so much ❤❤
Nice tutorial. I'm still on the learning curve with Premier..........
You are awesome man, seriously! Liked and subscribed.
works better if you speed up the second clip first then you cut where you want to slow back down so that it is continuous instead of skipping
Love you kyler. 😘
matt komo uses the hell out of this
The best. Thanks man
GOD DAMN IT!
Subscribed because awesome tutorial.
Nice tutorial m8!
you're the best bro
This is pretty nice :)
Thanks alot, that was really helpful and clear. Just one question, what's the camera you're using in the video?
EL-Basha check the links in the description!
Awesome. Great teaching style, i followed along really well. Subbed now 👍
This is Dope! very valuable! have used it a bunch for my music vids :)
What fps would you recommend with this effect? I usually shoot 120 fps. Would 24 be better for this effect?
Try lense wacking while also doing the transiton. It'd be even more cool.
Big thanks
gaaaahhhH! seeing stuff like this makes me so excited about filming because its so awesome and so much cool stuff to do but then i get frustrated and discouraged because its so much to learn and so much competition its might not even be worth it if i wont be successful!
Great video i like it good job :D
Hey man I want to know if you could do my music video editing with this effect ? How much will you charge ?
Great Video !
Thanks mate
In Jacob Owens' video we can clearly see that there is now motion blur which means the fast movement is done in post, not by moving the camera quickly.
Cool video thanks for sharing!
to make it even better edit it on after effects and motion tile simple as that. It will come out way cleaner
Amazing!
if im not mistaken this style really came from the watchtower of turkey video and gibson hazard has really mastered it
You are pretty good Kyler
thanks sir for this
Mx. In the house. Exelente video. :v
Pretty sure it's called a whip transition. Nice video though!
Tohab Thom it's definitely called a lot of things. (Quick Camera Movement, Whip) etc. I just wanted to call it something different because Rory does such a nice job with it!
Thank you! That was much needed
Hey Kyler,
Thanks for the great tutorial, really something I was looking for! :)
Was also wondering what was the song you used to put on the sample edit? When you drag and drop on the timeline! Sounds really good.
Saphira
You're Awesome! Thanks
Thanks nice tutorial i subed 💪
This tutorial is pretty dope
song at the end is without you(buddee remix)
thanks nice work
