You did the fight perfectly but what i dont get is how arw you meant to a rank a fight like this cauae the rank determines your loot?
The letter rank has no impact on your loot. It's only there to tell you how fast you completed the hunt. It's meaningless, really. Well, outside that one medal that requires you get a certain amount of A ranks. But you can do that vs any star monster.
Alright I'm going crazy, is there a setting that lets your camera stay centered on the monster like in the video, or does it only look like that for recordings?
Are you playing melee with lock on? Or with the gyro setting?
Also, in case you didn't know you can pinch your screen to zoom in and out. Playing at max distance helps a lot.

If you ever encounter an 8★ Black Diablos, do you mind posting the video? I'm a hammer main too and i have to see what I'm doing wrong here.
A very common mistake when fighting Black Diablo is that when it does that charge and then turn around and charge again move, people try to chase after it after its first charge, and then when the 2nd charge come it will charge far past them (which would result in lots of time loss running around). What one should do is after its 1st charge, instead of try to chase after it do the opposite and roll backward may be around 3 times or so, so its U-turn 2nd charge would be more or less stop around at where you are instead of going way past you.
Why does your fight seem more zoomed out than mine? Game only lets me zoom out a tiny bit.
You can pinch the screen to zoom in or out. Have you tried that? Also, Deviljho takes up so much of the screen when it's close so sometimes things can seem a bit more crowded and zoomed in.

Even with a maxed out Barioth hammer?
@greenbubba97 my barioth hammer is 10.2. I plan on taking it to 10.4. Hopefully that is enough with a god like rng run. But upgrading that is like 3rd on my list after finishing zinogre hammer and making the jho one. And I need sooooo much zenny. I'm sitting on 50 wgs but I'm broke 😒
I have everything to max out my black diablos and Barioth hammer, but I need like half a million zenny, so I know the pain.
What is your build ?
Thunder 5 set. Working on making the coral helm now. You can also make G6 Zinogre Greaves to replace the Kadachi Mail for last point of thunder attack.

@@Bagu2 Huh. I always went with Kulu/Tobi/Zin/Tobi/Kulu...didn't think about using Rathalos legs, but it makes sense. I guess it was because that set is peak drip...
I feel like the new Monsters were added to punish Bow users and force them to switch to melee. Theyre always up in you face and you cant gain enough distance to get a better shot.
Yeah I can see that. Even for melee I can't see Jho's head that I'm targeting most of the time as he takes up the whole screen.
Coral pukei is a pain in the arse for bow and lbg users lol
@@fatneekksi7135 At least bow and lbg users can still (presumably) hit him while he's hovering in the air for ten seconds while spraying water everywhere. As a SnS main that's ten seconds I'd like to have back. :D
