My 2 cents: I’ve already been a fan of the Meris Polymoon so it didn’t come as a big surprise that I’d also like the LVX. But tbh - I haven’t expected it to be THAT good. Certainly one of the best delay pedals of this decade and my favourite delay pedal of this year. Not only offers the LVX a great sound with a huge stereo panorama. It also offers a lot of sound design possibilities for the nerds. Plus, it’s very easy to handle which is quite a challenge when it comes to that level of complexity. And I like the design a lot - but that’s a matter of taste, after all. Unfortunately, this unit has been a loaner but I’m pretty sure that some day it will end up in my collection.
Just as an idea for making some new content: why not make a run-down of your collection of gear? List the reasons you love them, what they in particular offer and so on. I would love for you to dig into content like this :) btw: looking forward to the patches on the MiniFreak. Currently, there is no way for the MicroFreak patches to work with the Mini :(
everytime i watch a delay video I end up wanting the synth. every time i watch a synth video I want the fx used in the demo. must have for both of these :)
awesome video, been weighing up the LVX, Hologram or HD90 as my next buy, got a ks37 feeding my Prophet 6 desktop so almost identical set-up, this video is super useful!! Cheers
@@Bobo think its probably going to be the H90 to be honest, alongside production i'll be using it as an external FX Unit for DJing and the H90 just feels like there will be slightly less menu diving once i've set up a number of presets. I use the Zen delay at the moment and while its great it is a bit limited. They both look amazing tho so i'd be happy with either.. first world problems huh...the agony of choice!!! 😄
@@Nosh_Feratu Ah you are thinking like myself… but I don’t do any live gigs… just at home 😁 I have the zen delay too and it’s a ton of fun but I would need to sell it to get either LVX or H90 (which cost a lot more in Sweden than LVX) yea difficult choice 😁
I was kinda in this boat until Suit&Tie Guy reminded me that Eventide stuff just doesn't sound that great compared to Meris. Worse yet might be the TCE Plethora which I was considering before Covid happened... I'm just looking to replace my old Electrix Mo-FX...
you finally got me. i don't know what either of those are! maybe once the buds open. very interesting delay. i've been feeding fairfield meet maude into walrus audio lore lately with the prophet 10. lots of stuff like your granular clouds demo.
The buds never opened actually. Don’t know if it supposed to be that way but more likely is I’ve kept them too long out of water. Gonna check out the walrus audio lore, too next year. Seems to be nice/ thanks for your suggestion

I love my LVX. Been pairing it with my Vongon Ultrasheer with amazing results
I’ve to check that out

lol. But to be fair - this combo is great.

I’m also considering LVX or H90… did you make up your mind? ☺️

I'm looking for the Ring Modulation it can do for the CS80 clone. I ordered one to see how that might work.
