Limp Bizkit has been my favorite band since I first heard their stuff back in 98. I'm 27 now, and I wish it was 99-2000 again so I could hear that good music pounding through the speakers. I sincerely hope they return to their original style like back in the day. I like their style now, but it doesn't feel like back in the good old days. We need some more Nookie/Rollin'/My Generation type music, and I know that they would have an army of fans coming to listen.
@@softlipsonbigdicks born in 86, my brother in 88. Limp Bizkit was a big part of our lives starting in the late 90s. Fkk these times we live in today. Bring this sound back
This is not heavy though at all...Mtv never played metal videos, they just played music videos from bands like Limp, Staind, KoRn, RATM, Marilyn Manson, ect.
@@LeadMe2TheBliss heavy enough. I’m sorry you can actually understand the words. Yes there is music out there heavier than this, but to be like, “eh, this isn’t heavy”. When it’s heavier than 90% of all music when compared to every genre is being naive.
Filmed in Portugal :) “Bolacha Mole”= sought cookie The building where it was filmed is called “Mãe d’Água”, located in Lisbon. It marked the first time Limp Bizkit ever crossed Portugal, 20 years ago... thank God they’re coming back here this summer!
We can't go back to those years. We can't have the same goosebumps when MTV was airing a new song. But we can all agree that those years were the best ever and we were there living that moment. We have that connections that nobody of the new generation can understand or share. We are one.
Can't change the past, can change the future. Take a look in the mirror, what do you see? Will you bring somebody up or down it's up to you. You still can be a darkness or the light in someones life. Your actions are your own creation.
Learn from it and let it empower you.... The worst people in my life have taught me the best most positive lessons I've ever had. I had to go through the hurt to have understanding. Don't let it destroy you. People take from those who allow it.
I can tell that you are confused. It's not this era that particularly sucks : it's just adulthood. You miss when you were young and completely careless, naive and ingenuous... not the 2000s per se, which were in no way better than other decades... You're going to be alright. But you need to accept this truth : we all get blinded by a fake sense of nostalgia. Exact same for your parents before you, and your grandparents before them... For many people, the 2000s sucked big time and they wanted the 80s and 90s back... Point is, it's always easier to spit on the present and idealize the past, than to work on changing your life, the world, the present... But most of us would rather have a shit job, debts, tons of useless responsibilities and complain, than act for real on their inner misery...
@alien house LOL. Like it wasnt the case 10, 20, 30, 50 years ago. Your grandparents were telling the same about the music your parents were listening to, and the same with your own parents. Take some distance, my friend, and dont become a jaded and bitter nostalgic. Cheers!
This whole song is great, but the beginning sounds especially cool. People who judge Limp Bizkit off of Rollin and Break Stuff are missing out. Wes Borland is a great guitarist.
4:09 The editing in this part is brutal. That vignette with zoom and blur in the background makes the depression and suffering it conveys visible. It's a work of art.
I was six years old when Limp Bizkit dropped this album. Im 23 now and still remember all the times i got in trouble at school for sayin "now i know yall be loving this shit right here"
haha I'm 23 too bro! man the early 2000's were the fucking shit! dude I've been listening too unquestionable truth from them! have you ever listen to that album bro?😎🎸
Ijust recently turned 23 too. Unquestionable Truth is a good album. I remember being really obsessed with Limp Bizkit, Saliva, Crossfade, A Perfect Circle, and Chevelle when I was a wee lass. I wish there was more music like this now, seems like they've done away with original instruments and music comes from digital synthesizers and computers for the most part. Glad I got to experience music in the late 90's and early 00's.
From 4:05 onward is still my most epic and relevant part in music. From Durst repeatedly asking why with what seems to be real emotions to the sick riffage of Wes Borland.
Durst took a lot of heat, but I will say this...man did he write some killer stress-relief jams. Good fucking tune here. This and Break Stuff are some go-to songs for some stressful situations!
Awesome isn't it. I absolutely love how Limp Bizkit create those trippy almost Trance like sounds in the softer part of tracks before the heavy stuff kicks in. They are definitely underrated in terms of music composition, genius in my opinion.
The best video of Limp Bizkit - Illustrators, animators, colorists, photography specialists, cinematographic quality, costume designers, acrobats, set designers, musicians, actors, make-up artists, special effects specialists. all that together
I remember seeing a live version of this song on a dvd or something back in high school and seeing the gnarly stuff Wes does on the guitar with the ebow and dive bombs at the end, while Fred screams Whyyyy. Just hooked me and thats when i realised how creative these riffs really are. Otto and Rivers just have so much groove, it's perfection. Been my favourite Bizkit track ever since. 33 now and just saw them a few nights ago on their last australian show and they played it. Even managed to catch a pick, absolutely stoked.
We love you Fred durst. Limp bizkit is a part of me and has been for a long time. Thank you for making music that really gets people over their emotions.
This still sounds fresh. What a fkn powerful song. The drumwork. The lyrics. The melodies. The whole structure and buildup with that brilliant break/bridge. Classic.
I still have strong feelings about this song to this day. Today I am 35 years old, but when I was 16 I used to listen to LB a lot and felt like a victim of my own actions, immature in relation to my peers, I suffered a lot with the consequences of this but thank God there was a small power of reflection within me. Life can be an apprenticeship or a prison, it depends on you, reflect on your actions. Feel good about what you do and use it to evolve in general, be better today than yesterday, this is more important than you think. I honestly don't know why I came here to write this, I rarely comment on YT but I felt a need. I apologize for sounding like a shithead to some. Stay with God. LB is part of my life, I just thank you!

Это одна из моих самых любимых композиций вообще. Очень мощная песня. The song is a bomb. I`m 36 and it is still one of the best songs of this team and it powers me
Lost my father at 11, suffered with diagnosed severe depression and anxiety for the better part of 10 years. This song alone describes what having a cancerous tumor like depression is like. It's like a second personality in your head, eating you away. Absoring you, assimilating you, morphing you into a monster that hurts you and others. It takes away everything you love, it makes you abandon relationships. It turns you into a being of darkness over years of suffering. It makes you depend on it in ways you cannot fathom. It wants, and it consumes. It's a shadow that turns even the brightest of phoenixes into ashes. It musters an army of demons that plague you, that imprison you with base pleasures. It reigns supreme, because it knows you are nothing without it; that you depend on it. It consumes everything you have, leaving you a base shell of fatigued mess; incapable of doing even the simplest tasks. It makes you waste years of your life as it leads you into an endless maze of insanity that can only be described as Hell, and that if you let it, it will kill you... Yet for all its evil, its darkness. When those ashes turn into embers that ignite a fire which cannot be stopped; it shrivels away. Its entire army is defeated when you wake up and realize just what it is exactly. That when the phoenix is reborn from it's ashes, new and better, it is a blinding light in the void of darkness, and that the coward it is retreats into the greatest depths of your mind. You're done, you put your foot down. This time you imprison it. You use it. You muster an army of guardians like Discipline and Hope to keep it locked away. You swear to never let it hurt you again, and at long last you are free. The air becomes a little more fresh, the sky a little more blue, the pain a little less severe, and the world that was once shrouded in darkness; is now visible. Beautiful in it's simplicity. Be wary however, as it laughs manically from its prison. Knowing you can never truly kill it, and that when Hope and Discipline fail, it's agents will release it. For you and it are incomplete without one another, destined to the same fate of death. Many do not win against it, they are fully absorbed into it. They allow it's demons to drive them to murder, to all crimes of Humanity. Many times it drives them to suicide. If you too are suffering from one, do not let it win. You have power over it which even it fears, and that when the time comes it will be defeated. That's why it does it's utmost to keep you down, that's why it's minions like lust and gluttony manifest as desires. As addictions. To keep you distracted as it draws its plans against you. It plays for time. I consider this song the song of my rebirth, that as I recover from the damage it caused. I can rest easy knowing It has no control over my life anymore, and that in time I will pick up the shards of a mirror it made me shatter; that once I look through that mirror, I will see who I am without it. To those reading this, thank you for taking the time out of your day to do so. Stay safe, and stay cool.
I had no idea this song was so popular and I never thought they had made a video for it. It's been my favorite song of the record for a while now. I thought this was an underground type of song overshadowed by their more popular hits(My Way, Rolling, My Generation, Take A Look Around, etc.) I'm happy to see that it gets the recognition it deserves!
Dude you missed out, I believe this may have won a fan poll to be the next single, I may be wrong. And the effort than went into the video... This may be one of the most Limp Bizkit things that ever Limp Bizkited.
Crimson Fenix Oh, if you hear the album version of this song, the end goes on for longer, with that sort of “twinkle” guitar sounding even more like an end of an era
I'm not exactly a LB fan, I loved some of their songs as a teen but never followed hard, but I fucking love this song. Plus, it has some fucking weight after you get older and have some real shit happening to you, this one touches base on my breakup with my sadistic ex.

holy shit, boy was I wrong, I thought she was my soul mate, she is wat killed my soul, I discover this on her birthday of all days. now I must listen again, clearly and realize done.
Yeah, no thanks to Durst's huge ego - seriously, who the fuck wants to his shitty 13 year old'esq lyrics over those amazing baselines and guitar licks? Let's not forget John Otto was pretty decent on drums and Lethal brought that Nu-Metal flavor to it, the icing as it were. I used to think Limpbizkit were dope but as I've gotten older and into heavier shit I realise Durst ruined this band. $3bill is still badass though and Rearranged is still a great song.
fhhh you realise you're talking about the frontman/lead singer of a band, right? OF COURSE he's what made the band big, doesn't change the fact he's also the main thing that ruined the band. But saying he's iconic is a slap to the face of people like Tupac, Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon, Dr Dre, David Bowie, Syd Barrett etc etc. the list goes on and trust me, Fred Durst isn't on that list; he's nowhere fucking near it! Iconic LOL... meh yourself, you silly twat I'm literally crying from laughing at you right now!
Went to a concert from him yesterday, fy lol hes amazing, the band is amazing and if you dont like it lick my starfish, hes a icon to me, and to some other people to,just because he isint to you does not mean he aint. sorry for the bad english.
deep shit... or simply some shit we all gp trough at least once in life so its easy to cash in on, li you decide but ill tell you this: 90% of the music in the world is about either falling in love or breaking up
This song just makes me feel a certain way and it’s fucking crazy, Limp Bizkit and KoRn are my favorite bands right now. Good to see this video is still here. Also wish there were more songs like these again.
Filmed in Lisbon way back when... too bad they come to Portugal so few times. But finally, the year was 2023 and I got to see them live for the first time! EPIC
Early 2000’s was such a great time for proper bands to make a name for themselves. Metal / alternative was everywhere, on mainstream music channels and mainstream radio stations. Hard to believe the music industry can change so drastically in 20 years.
I’m so grateful to have been a kid/teen during the early 2000’s and grew up on real music. Life now doesn’t feel the same. So sick of this fake sh*t show world we are stuck living in now.
Love this song! Not just one of my favorite Limp Bizkit songs of all time, but also one of my favorite songs of all time from any band. Never gets old.
FUCK I MISS THOSE DAYS I WAS 13 YEARS OLD , MTV WAS GOOD AND LIMP BIZKIT, KORN, LINKIN PARK, MUDVAYNE, PAPA ROACH ( THE OLD PAPA ROACH) KID ROCK, METALLICA, BLINK 182, MARILYN MANSON, ROB ZOMBIE ALL THOSE BANDS DOMINATES THE WORLD
each generations is good. well i bet the future generations will say the same that way miss Justin Bieber. i know you despise listening to music like Justin Bieber. since every era is different according to individuals.
at least the old music like rock bands had some meaning to their songs.... things that actually have a message to get out... todays music sucks... its all about being rich or getting laid or some bullshit like that... wtf happened to music with meaning... why is all the good bands who can actually PLAY MUSIC and sing being over run with people with no real talent and computers? this life is getting more and more depressing the more i watch it...
well yeah there are two ways of listening to music. one music is lead by the illuminati. the other music is not made by the illuminati.then there is the music that is just fad because it won't stay long since they are being disgusted.
true, and the animated part looks better then most stuff made at this time, hell did you guys seen freak on the leash video, that bullet still looks so real that i sometimes think it still flies somewhere irl today...

But Fred need to put his voice on a rest. He over used it a bit.
Thank god i'm not alone in thinking this too many people base their opinion on the life of fred durst and his character not the music.
***** You can only scream for so many years man.

This is not heavy though at all...Mtv never played metal videos, they just played music videos from bands like Limp, Staind, KoRn, RATM, Marilyn Manson, ect.
@@LeadMe2TheBliss Slipknot is heavy metal.
Was just thinking the same
@@LeadMe2TheBliss heavy enough. I’m sorry you can actually understand the words. Yes there is music out there heavier than this, but to be like, “eh, this isn’t heavy”. When it’s heavier than 90% of all music when compared to every genre is being naive.
Filmed in Portugal :) “Bolacha Mole”= sought cookie
The building where it was filmed is called “Mãe d’Água”, located in Lisbon.
It marked the first time Limp Bizkit ever crossed Portugal, 20 years ago... thank God they’re coming back here this summer!
Portugal ????? 🤔
Actually Limp Biscuit "Bizkit" = Bolacha Mole not Sought Cookie 😃
Innaccurate. I saw them play with Deftones at Festival Ilha Do Ermal in 2000, 21 years ago in August. ruclips.net/video/6FSf_8Z9Ak8/видео.html

Se nasceste em 2007 e gostas de LB respeito ;)
We can't go back to those years.
We can't have the same goosebumps when MTV was airing a new song.
But we can all agree that those years were the best ever and we were there living that moment.
We have that connections that nobody of the new generation can understand or share.
We are one.
Nice three days grace reference
Totally agree with you brother, freaking nostalgia but all in all is good...
We are alone, no generation before or after experienced what we did.
Still brings tears to my eyes when I hear this, wish I could turn back time and never met the ones that broke me…..
I feel totally the same
Yeah this shits hard to sing along with
Yeah. You right im here the feel same
Can't change the past, can change the future.
I’m crying how come we missed these times , this era sucks I miss 2000s!
[ • ]
Ohh yeah me too
I cry with u. So many years already gone...
Cheers!
this guitar sound is so unique and strong and greatfully compared to vocal, this track will live forever

Limp, Korn, and LP defined this era...great memories
They're so similar and different at the same time. They were a perfect duo to be on stage together.

Hell yeah man
This whole song is great, but the beginning sounds especially cool. People who judge Limp Bizkit off of Rollin and Break Stuff are missing out. Wes Borland is a great guitarist.
*THANK YOU*
Yeah Wes Borland guitar riff for the Mission Impossible theme in take a look around 🎸
Rollin is their best song imo
4:09 The editing in this part is brutal. That vignette with zoom and blur in the background makes the depression and suffering it conveys visible. It's a work of art.
That's what I'm sayin! And the fact the the darkness is covering his eyes makes it more so

I remember that this video was recorded in OCTOBER '99
+DaveDaveTor impossible considering the fact that Significant Other was barely 5 months old in October '99
From 4:05 onward is still my most epic and relevant part in music. From Durst repeatedly asking why with what seems to be real emotions to the sick riffage of Wes Borland.
Three dollar bill yall is the titz tho
Durst took a lot of heat, but I will say this...man did he write some killer stress-relief jams. Good fucking tune here. This and Break Stuff are some go-to songs for some stressful situations!
Agree agree agree & agree. They have helped me relieve a load of stress
To be candid I seriously doubt he had anything to do with the songwriting, apart from lyrics.
This was my go to jam for when my rage would get out of control or I was in pain or just feeling hurt by memories.
Freyzi Madison He actually did tho. Most early lyrics are actually about his first girlfriend and youth.

Was 15 years old when this came out. Felt such a rebel when i listened to their music. Man i miss the 90s.
This song is still epic. 2023. Such a well-composed track

Awesome isn't it. I absolutely love how Limp Bizkit create those trippy almost Trance like sounds in the softer part of tracks before the heavy stuff kicks in. They are definitely underrated in terms of music composition, genius in my opinion.
Yeah I'm excited to see them in May ! Didn't think I'd ever get the opportunity to ! Hope they play this !
it got that timeless feel
Stumbled across it just now and I completely forgot about this song. I love it - most of their lesser known songs were way better
The best video of Limp Bizkit - Illustrators, animators, colorists, photography specialists, cinematographic quality, costume designers, acrobats, set designers, musicians, actors, make-up artists, special effects specialists. all that together
This was a "tip of the hat" to Pink Floyd's film "The Wall". The beginning explains it all. Pretty cool.
Fred screaming "why" at the end of the song is the peak of music. Iconic.
I love how Durst screams it but Layne saying "yeah" in Grind floats my boat. Heh..everything Layne's done does😏

Quien dice quien dijo, limp bizkit ni si quiera son palabras del diccionario
Armed with Knowledge true that. Never be another band like them.
Real deep my friend ! And I feel the exact same way and I'm also 35.

Looks like I'm 'a do everything myself
Maybe I could use some help
But hell, you want something done right
You gotta do it yourself
Maybe life is up and down
But, my life's been what to now?
I crawled up your butt from hell
And that's when things got turned around
It used to be a lie
And now it feels pathetic
And now I get it
What's done is done

And don't regret it
Sometimes some things turn into dumb things
And that's when you put your foot down
Why did I have to go and meet somebody like you? (like you)
Why do you have to go and hurt somebody like me? (like me)
How could you do somebody like that
You know that I'm never coming back

But hell, if you want something done right
You just do it yourself
Got it?
Maybe life is up and down
But, but my life's been what to now?
Got it?
I crawled up your butt somehow
Got it?
And that's when shit got turned around
It used to be a lie
So pathetic
But now I get it
What's done is done

And don't regret it
But sometimes some things turn into dumb things

Why do you have to go and hurt somebody like me? (like me)
How could you do somebody like that
You know that I'm never coming back
Depending on you is done (is done)
Giving to you is done
No more eating, no sleeping, no living
It's all just what giving to you and I'm done (and I'm done)
But hiding from you is done (is done)
But lying from you is done
No more eating, no sleeping, no living
It's all just what giving to you and I'm done (and I'm done)
Why did I have to go and meet somebody like you? (like you)
Why do you have to go and hurt somebody like me? (like me)
How could you do somebody like that
You know that I'm never coming back
But why?
Why?
Ladies, gentlemen
What you are experiencing
Is in fact an inner lie man
I would like you to kick back
And think about everything you've just heard

EPIC
I think Fred has got
really cool little dance moves and jumps. he is so unique
Early 2000’s was such a great time for proper bands to make a name for themselves. Metal / alternative was everywhere, on mainstream music channels and mainstream radio stations. Hard to believe the music industry can change so drastically in 20 years.
And for so much worse...
I’m so grateful to have been a kid/teen during the early 2000’s and grew up on real music. Life now doesn’t feel the same. So sick of this fake sh*t show world we are stuck living in now.
One of their best songs for sure, with Re-Arranged.
Heartbroken much?...
Exactly my 2 fav Bizkit songs
I Like All Limp Bizkit Songs, They Rock 🤘🤘🎸🎸👍👍🔥🔥

almost 30 and still listening to good old LB songs
Warning @sebasguzman23 Said That BADWORDS **Screaming** 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡👎
Whoever did the CGI deserves an Oscar because that shit still stands up today.
I did think that bit when fred ripped his skin off and went human again did look pretty sick
Yes!! The music video is so fucking good and the CGI... 😍🤘🏼
true, and the animated part looks better then most stuff made at this time, hell did you guys seen freak on the leash video, that bullet still looks so real that i sometimes think it still flies somewhere irl today...
@@fryinglydone8987 haha why are you talking about KoRn now? xD
@@user-zr3eu7ng5h because this music video and that one are pretty similar in terms of cgi and animation honestly
