If you know me, you know that I am obsessed with Mid-Century Modern (MCM) interior design and I've been slowly turning my house into my retro dream home. In my opinion a circle window is one of the most iconic features in an MCM home. So when I got told I could actually have one, of course I jumped at the opportunity! After a few coats of paint and a DIY pendant chandelier, my entryway is definitely coming together. Part 2 out next week, so don't forget to subscribe so you know how this makeover turns out!

I love a longer format plus love to see the full transformation in one video for projects like this that are a bit smaller (e.g. not a full room reno that takes months). Was sad when it ended, I totally would have watched a 40min video for the full thing! Excited to see how it turns out.

Same. I find that the other channels I watch that do makeovers are doing the same thing suddenly, making a lot of them 2-5 parts instead of 1 video like they once were. I don't mind if it takes a month (or months) to complete the full makeover, I would still rather wait and see it all together.

Agreed, a full makeover or DIY project in a single video would be great but I don't think (something like this makeover) would need to be hours long...that's crazy. And it's a little crazy that painting one wall and hanging a light took up a 25 min video. I know they need to make money so into the void I rant but, these ytbers know how to milk a video.

The first thing that popped in my head was what if someone had fallen against the railing and fell through the hole. Unlikely, yes. So glad it is getting replaced. Also, that round window is beautiful.

That 70's house is one of my favorite series on YT! That round window is everything, but the other two are perfection too.
Keep the lights in the colors they are now, they compliment each other. Also you could put those on a dimmer switch....LOVE your house!!!

I would love to see how the round window changes the facade of the house. Also with the extra window in the bathroom! We did see the whole from the outside but a finishing view (even a sketch) would be nice!

Love this! Consider whether painting the upside down “dish” part of the pendant on the left to match the darker pendant? That would highlight the color variation and look fab when your art goes up❤

I love the lights! The darker shade complements the shade on the glass fixture quite nicely (at least it does on my computer screen, And that window is a show-stopper!!

I appreciate the longer videos because I can watch it all in one go, or if I don’t have time I can watch it in parts. It gives the viewers the choice

I was honestly very disappointed she'd do that on video. It's not safe, and other people shouldn't get the idea it's ok.

@@Barb.....playing devil's advocate here, but would one of the really long paint rollers work? though I'm still thinking at least a footstool on the stairs for more height.
@@redthorned She did use a long roller, but you can get the top edge with that.
@@Barb..... oh she DID! mine blind (distracted) eyes. I had to go watch it back xD Since she started with a paintbrush (to do the edges essentially) I ended up thinking "okay, doing the whole wall with a brush? weird, but you do you Becky"

I would not mind if you did longer videos. I don’t really enjoy things being broken up like they are. I know a lot of people wouldn’t watch a video that long, but I would. I can’t be the only one who would enjoy that.

I think the off-white lamp suits the space really well because it's part of the sort of white-brown continuum going on in that corner.
