I love a longer format plus love to see the full transformation in one video for projects like this that are a bit smaller (e.g. not a full room reno that takes months). Was sad when it ended, I totally would have watched a 40min video for the full thing! Excited to see how it turns out.
Same. I find that the other channels I watch that do makeovers are doing the same thing suddenly, making a lot of them 2-5 parts instead of 1 video like they once were. I don't mind if it takes a month (or months) to complete the full makeover, I would still rather wait and see it all together.
Agreed, a full makeover or DIY project in a single video would be great but I don't think (something like this makeover) would need to be hours long...that's crazy. And it's a little crazy that painting one wall and hanging a light took up a 25 min video. I know they need to make money so into the void I rant but, these ytbers know how to milk a video.
The first thing that popped in my head was what if someone had fallen against the railing and fell through the hole. Unlikely, yes. So glad it is getting replaced. Also, that round window is beautiful.
I love the lights! The darker shade complements the shade on the glass fixture quite nicely (at least it does on my computer screen, And that window is a show-stopper!!
I would love to see how the round window changes the facade of the house. Also with the extra window in the bathroom! We did see the whole from the outside but a finishing view (even a sketch) would be nice!
Talking about a longer video format (which i would love btw): would be cool to release one of those compilations vids of "everything we did on the house in 1 year"! Those videos are so inspiring and relaxing to watch ❤
I love watching you take on a project, Becky! You are a great inspiration for reusing material and keeping the costs down. The results are always gorgeous. Thank you for sharing your talent!
Omg! I have so much to say. First of all, I’ve always really appreciated your style. It’s not my style but it’s fantastic. Those windows!! Those windows change everything! They are beautiful. The gallery wall. Loved it in the old house, love it in this house. The pendants, the windows, that gallery wall! Superb! Clearly a designers home.
The new windows! 😍😍😍🔥🔥 And the fresh paint color and no railing totally changed the vibe. Wow. Love the lights but I think it would look even better with 5 lights. Can’t believe the railing was taped😂😂😂😂😂😂
Love this! Consider whether painting the upside down “dish” part of the pendant on the left to match the darker pendant? That would highlight the color variation and look fab when your art goes up❤
I know I'm always in for a treat when Becky does her home makeover videos. Your creativity, can do attitude & positivity are inspiring. I love your home design. And I am obsessed wuth the round window. Total room game changer. Looking forward to part 2. I also would like to see longer videos. I also wanted to add this was a great sponsorship video. You did an amazing job showcasing this company's windows & how they truly transform a room. Well done!
@@Barb.....playing devil's advocate here, but would one of the really long paint rollers work? though I'm still thinking at least a footstool on the stairs for more height.
@@Barb..... oh she DID! mine blind (distracted) eyes. I had to go watch it back xD Since she started with a paintbrush (to do the edges essentially) I ended up thinking "okay, doing the whole wall with a brush? weird, but you do you Becky"
I would not mind if you did longer videos. I don’t really enjoy things being broken up like they are. I know a lot of people wouldn’t watch a video that long, but I would. I can’t be the only one who would enjoy that.
No such thing as a Sorry Girls video being too long. Cannot get enough of your content! Especially when it comes to watching both Becky and Kelsey's homes grow ❤️
I would love longer videos in this format - Becky's series are my fav thing on your channel (but I watch and really enjoy them all of course I Just am a sucker for mcm)
So enjoying your 1970 renovation! Little touches that I really liked.... new round window then walk into bathroom and round mirror. Good touch. And the lighting, perfect! Actually the tan one is about same hue as top of glass one so it plays off really nice! Fun video. Excited for next one! Railing will be epic!
The circle window is so cool! I was thinking for the ledge by the staircase it would be awesome with some low bookshelves or cabinets with sliding doors both for storage and * the aesthetics *
LOVE the round window! I can’t help but think that some type of 70s wooden bookshelf, acting as a banister, would look absolutely beautiful in your space. Can’t wait to see how it looks! ❤
I’m so excited to see the final result!! I think it’s going to look awesome 🤩 Also, this is a very random aside; in those beauty shots at the end… I CANNOT stress enough how good the round mirror looks reflecting the round window! 😮
Becky! Beautiful! How exciting to have new windows!! Staining the circular window, made it POP!! And YES! I am game for a longer vid instead of 2 parts ... BUT!! Sometimes ya gotta do whatcha gotta do! Enjoy your day and stay warm!! xxoo
I had to think for a sec because I automatically thought of mcm as man crush monday instead of mid century modern and tbh both kinda make sense, it's a gorgeous window!!
I love it if you do that little camping resort, kind of video again in a long format. It would be like a vacation. I know that’s weird. I love how the windows and the lights turned out . Let the sunshine in!
I honestly feel a glass or some kind of clear railing would look really beautiful in that area, & with metal detailing it’d look even cooler, like a modern industrial look. that definitely would add in some uniqueness that the house already has & show off more of the gallery wall. whatever you end up doing with it, it’s definitely going to be in tune with your personal taste & look amazing! can’t wait for the final result! I hope the sorry team is having a good week, love y'all! 💖
I adore the round window! What a gamechanger for this space! Also: I love longer-format videos and tend to watch them while working on projects, so would be super happy to see more on the channel in future! 😊
Looks aaaaaaaammmmaaaazzzzing! 🥰 I love the circle window! And yes, Becky I love that the lamps not all the same color. It gives it more visual interest. Also, yes give me a 2 hr vid! Hell yes!
I just love all the renovations you are doing, that window omg is gorgeous 😍 the pendant lights are stunning! Watching Austin kick the railing, perfection haha
I was so nervous the entire time when you were removing the railing and painting over it. My stomach was doing that nervous thing, even when you were just standing near the hole. I didn't want to see another Sorry Girl accident! Looks very cool so far.
excellent design concept. Wonderful window. don't let yourself settle for the wrong color light. (I know, its snowing and you had a video to post). Love your eclectic MCM style. Thanks for all your inspo.
I have to agree - front hall is REALLY coming together especially that stunning window! I’m wondering what FB Marketplace has to offer in an eclectic 70s light fixture! 🤎🧡🤎
It amazes me how different is everything, you being happy with all the sunlight, where I live sunlight buuuurrrnssss, we get curtains yes or yes in every window.... 😂 I love your style ❤
My toddlers watched this over my shoulder and, I’ve gotta tell ya, my 3yo is incredibly invested in you building the new railing. He was low-key disappointed that you didn’t get to that in this video. 😆 Also, afterwards, he showed me some “lights” he hung from his little desk: a shoelace and a tag that was vaguely reminiscent of your pendant light fixtures. My 1yo very excitedly shouted “woof!” whenever he saw Danny.
A mushroom shaped light would look so cool hanging there with the others, that way it could be the same darker shade as the other one. That window is amazing! Now i want one :)
I really happy for you Becky and your hubby, your house is becoming a home and I love your videos ¡, look forward to seeing your home designs ,I wish you both Happiness, and alot of Love, God bless you both Always 🙏 ❤️
Take as long as you want on these videos I love watching them from start to end. There's another RUclipsr I'm watching and she me she makes me crazy it can take her more than 5 months to finish
I love a longer format plus love to see the full transformation in one video for projects like this that are a bit smaller (e.g. not a full room reno that takes months). Was sad when it ended, I totally would have watched a 40min video for the full thing! Excited to see how it turns out.
Same!
My thoughts exactly!

Well said. My thoughts exactly and you are really polite and nice 👍🏼

I would LOVE a two hour video of Becky working on her home! 😲
same! I love watching longer videos when it's about renovations
same!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yes!!
Same here!!! I would love to just one morning cuddle up with some coffee and get those creative brain cells churnin!
I ran to the comments when she said that lol. I seriously would just sit and play The Sims and watch the video. Heaven.
Something about not having a railing up, really does make you think how there is just a hole in our houses that leads downstairs!!
I agree...it makes an ordinary thing feel very strange! This thought will haunt me all day LOL 😂
Haha I thought exactly the same thing!
That round window is SICK 🤩
RIGHT!! Literal dream come true !
It's one of the best things I've ever seen.
@@TheSorryGirlsimagine a window sitting nook like that 😭 a bit hard with the stairs but woooow
Would personally rather have a longer video than it chopped up into different parts
Absolutely agree. Especially such a small area/undertaking. Would be nice to see it from beginning to end, not in parts.
Same.
Although Becky's style is nothing like my own, I appreciate that she so unapologetically knows what she likes and goes all in on it.
That railing moment had my jaw to the floor!!! What the actual eff!? So glad you guys are getting this railing done properly💪🏼🥰
Same! Like who would use tape to install a railing! Like?????
The first thing that popped in my head was what if someone had fallen against the railing and fell through the hole. Unlikely, yes. So glad it is getting replaced. Also, that round window is beautiful.
Don’t apologize for that room. It’s great to have a place to store all the things you need to shop as you finish each area of your home.
ahahah I feel like everyone has a closet/space like that in their home 😂
Yeah, I'm thinking just add shelves! Make it official. I'd watch Becky's storage room makeover.
Would LOVE longer format videos of these transformations! I find the narration both relaxing and motivating while I’m working to have on.
Good to know!
That 70's house is one of my favorite series on YT! That round window is everything, but the other two are perfection too.
Austin let his intrusive thoughts get the best of him 😂
yes...sometimes you just gotta give into those intrusive thoughts 🙂
@@TheSorryGirlsimpulsive thoughts, not intrusive 😊
That circle window is EVERYTHING. Best design choice. The light is incredible
I’d actually die for a 2hr sorry girl full makeover. It would be a popcorn night for sureeee
Keep the lights in the colors they are now, they compliment each other. Also you could put those on a dimmer switch....LOVE your house!!!
Agreed!
I don't love the darker one with the white ones. It makes it look dirty or like it was in a smoker's house in my opinion.
My favorite Sorry Girl videos are the ones with your house 😍😍😍
That round window changes everyhinggg!
So much light right!
The longer video the better! 👏🏻 Looking good so far, Becky!
Austin kicking the railing in is definitely the approach i take with home repairs. Demolition first patch later lol 🤣
Becky's reaction priceless
Imagine if you made the round window look like a giant Christmas Wreath during the holidays 😍😍
or a snow globe would be cool too ✨
It kinda already is a snowglobe right now ❄❄
I would totally wait longer for a longer but completely finished makeover. Also, I love the mismatched colour of the pendants.
Beckys design style is sooo interesting and beautiful😍 Can't wait for more makeovers in Beckys house😍😍
I am finishing this space next week! So stay tuned!!
That round window is to die for!!! Love it.
Would totally be into a longer format video. More Sorry Girls at one time? Hell yeah.
favorite series on the channel!!!
Round window is giving ✨ astronomical✨
I WOULD LOOVE 2 hr vid of this series and kelsy's. This is coming out so beautiful
I love the lights! The darker shade complements the shade on the glass fixture quite nicely (at least it does on my computer screen, And that window is a show-stopper!!

I am STOKED to see the finished project. It's so beautiful already!!❤
Becky is glowing today! Also excited for part 2!
Aweee
Already a massive transformation. The power of good natural light never ceases to amaze. Gorgeous window 😊
I appreciate the longer videos because I can watch it all in one go, or if I don’t have time I can watch it in parts. It gives the viewers the choice
The new windows are FAB!
Love the Round Window and would LOVE a 2 hour video......I love watching all your house transformations
Awesome window! I love the deep window casing. Everything is looking good.😊❤
Talking about a longer video format (which i would love btw): would be cool to release one of those compilations vids of "everything we did on the house in 1 year"! Those videos are so inspiring and relaxing to watch ❤
Omg for the holidays Becky can decorate that round window like a snow globe.
Or like a pumpkin for Halloween

Don’t tease a 2-hour video when I didn’t want this to end! Cuz wow that window is everything! They did great, and you have great vision.
I love the darker shade with the rest! The contrast is so needed!
Yes! I would totally watch a two hour Sorry Girls video!! 👏🏽
2 hr video?? YES PLEASE 🙏

OBSESSED with this transformation so far. Would love a 2 hr video 😅
That circle window is STUNNING. Just transforms your hallway completely, and is very, VERY 1970s!

Becky you are a braver woman than I. I would have been terrified to paint over that hole on the ladder without Austin/someone spotting me! 😂
I was honestly very disappointed she'd do that on video. It's not safe, and other people shouldn't get the idea it's ok.
@@fryesteph How would you suggest she, or anyone for that matter, reaches the top of the walls around the staircase when painting?
@@Barb.....playing devil's advocate here, but would one of the really long paint rollers work? though I'm still thinking at least a footstool on the stairs for more height.

Ooooo! I love that the bedrooms are on the lower level rather than the upper level. Something about it just feels safer.
I'm on board with the two hour format, just having a sensation of completion is amazing.
That round window is giving me so much life and creativity! 🥰
Love the collection of shades, it really works with this 70s vibe
The window looks sick and so does Becky’s Teddy Fresh
