This challenge reminds me of decorating the homes in Animal Crossing. In the Happy Home Paradise dlc, they give you a theme and some required furniture pieces you have to use to decorate the space!

The blue color is a really good choice as it goes so nicely with the Golden tone of the wood of the bed. Sorry Austin and Becky didn’t get the horse wall plauqe. Sometimes uncool stuff can be fun and eclectic. Two things in the North American interior design culture I will never understand: - pendant light hung really high up - putting a bed in front of a window. Apart from that I’m over the Moon with you guys doing makeovers again. Thanks for that.

I absolutely love this room by design challenge between you two. I think Becky and Austin got the better fit for thier style with the whole guitar retro vibe. Then Kelsey and Elliot got the plain white with some greenery which actually is kinda Kelsey's making home style.

Painting the trim in the Kelliot home - I was actually imagining an orange for the pop of colour (maybe because of the tropical plant?), so I was surprised by light blue! Could you paint the exterior trim of the windows too, so you get the little detail when people walk up to the front door from outside as well? The big wagon wheel light fixture in the Baustin home - would it be cool to replace the light pieces with planters and have droopy plants hanging down from the ceiling? Thinking of using the barrel for the table is so perfect, and that Yosemite map was an amazing find?! If you somehow fit a rocking chair in there I'll be obsessed because I just keep imagining a rocking chair on an old west porch ahaha.

Putting a bed in front of a window is a no-go for me even though I live in North America. I don't think I will ever be able to accept it? Lol
