I just received samples of the foundation, and dabbed some pink 30 around one eye and cheek. It has erased all the troubles, including the darkness around my eyes that has never been tamed before. I have broken capillaries too. It’s all…gone. One half of my face looks unbelievable. Oh my. So glad you did this review. TY
Even tho you want to live in Ireland I am so glad that you have returned. Please tangent as much as you want to as I love listening to what you have to say - whatever it may be. You look great and seem to be happy to be back home. I do like the colorpop ash brown brow pencil better than the other. foundation that I would like to see you try is the new Hourglass Veil.

I got samples of this in 2 undertones of their 30 depth based on a recommendation that were both unfortunately too dark, but it feels lovely on the skin. No rosacea flare up! MOB's cosmetic chemist used to work at MAC and helped develop their shade range, which I feel like you can kinda see with MOB's undertones :) They're all true skintones, rather than one-dimensional near yellow/pink browns

This is one of the favorites in my foundation arsenal. The color match (10 Neutral) is great, compared to most foundations, which are either too pale or too dark; or too pink, too peachy, or too yellow. Your match looked perfect. I use only a damp sponge these days and build coverage slowly. I don't know if it's because I don't have the highest quality brushes or what, but I can't get brush applications to work anymore. Are you planning on getting the new Fenty blurring foundation (tint) stick? I'd be curious to see how you like it. I enjoyed your Ireland videos, but I love seeing Ziva again. I missed her.

A solid presentation as always! Maybe a bit of setting spray (alcohol-free, of course!) dabbed on with a barely damp sponge would give you staying power without a funky texture like the powder? The product's environmental benefits and animal-friendliness would make this worth playing with to get the finish you want. Love the video!

Lately I’ve been really interested in stick and cream foundations for on the go at work to use as foundation and concealer.
I’ve seen the stick foundations you’ve reviewed but I can’t find Bobbi brown in there - have you tried that one? I’d love to see a review of it. I’d particularly like to know how to compares to Tom Ford - that’s my front runner so far but I’d like something more slim and compact and it’s also a more friendly upfront price (albeit less product)

I think you have a good chance of Colourpop continuing to send you stuff because I feel like the majority of influencers either don’t talk about them at all anymore or they make fun of them. I enjoy Colourpop products. I get it that they overproduce and they often repeat color stories because of that, but when they get it right, they get it really right. Plus you can’t beat the price point.
Also…so jealous of your Ireland trip. It’s definitely on my bucket list. Ireland and Italy (my motherland).
I totally agree!! Also as someone who hoards eyeshadow palettes, I'm the weirdo that wants all the similar palettes that just have certain little differences because I'm the one that will strike a mood for that one unique shadow in one or the other lol!
Looks really nice. Maybe setting spray would help instead of powder? The setting spray might not be as drying? Take care! 🙂

Yep I swear any expense they go to in order to make samples would come back multiple times over in the people who would then buy the product who wouldn't otherwise if they couldn't try it first.
If you want a rec for a really good night cream, I’m loving the cocokind resurfacing cream. I got a sample in ipsy and bought the full size bc I love it so much. It’s hard to find a rich cream that really moisturizes (that also doesn’t have fragrance bc most fragrance really fcks with my skin). Only thing is you can’t use an oil with it bc of pilling. So I can’t use my Dr Curaecle kombucha essence or my retinol oil with it. So I use it on nights I use tretinoin instead. Also I found the most incredibly hydrating products from a j beauty brand. They’ve got EGH and FGF. It’s the Joie Cellule line. I bought the serum and it’s the most hydrating serum I’ve ever used, & im a connoisseur of hydrating serum‘s. I’m buying the emulsion next & maybe even the lotion (if you don’t know in japenase skin care a lotion is a hydrating toner & an emulsion like a watery face lotion). They do have minimal fragrance but it doesn’t bother me at all. I’ve been a huge fan of Japanese emulsions bc I follow the layering approach to deal with my crusty a$$ dry as fck skin. Especially since adding tretinoin to my routine I need the hydration. I’m low key a skincare nerd (for fragrance free, skin care for sensitive skin under $65).
Also I’m a huge fan of Korean cushion foundations for my dry skin and desire for lighter coverage. I’m almost out of my missha cushion and I have the Fwee cushion glass & the espoir pro tailor b glow cushion. I looked up best cushions for dry skin since I love the missha one so much & there’s a whole bunch of options. Fortunately I’m pale enough that I can use them since they don’t make them for ppl with any melanin. But I swear by Korean foundations, especially the cushions, for dry skin.
i find with a brush (i use the Alima foundation brush), the foundation gathers badly on my chin, i don't know why. when i use just my fingers, the foundation works better especially on my chin. i'm still playing with the skin care and SPF under this one to see which combo works best during summer heat and humidity as i'm planning to travel back to the philipines late summer/early fall. it's hellish summer almost yearound there

Please let us know if the powder works. I really like how it looks on you, but, like you, I don’t touch my makeup once I leave the house. If the powder increases the longevity, that would be a plus for me. Also thanks for the tip on the Colourpop brow pencil. I need a deep brown, but most are too red.

I've been using a flat concealer brush! But I'd use my fingertips if my nails were shorter. (I am prone to stabbing myself in the eye lol).

Great video. Just an FYI, you can order samples of the shades for $1 each. I'm thinking of 6 shades! So I think this is necessary. I've been looking for a good compact cream makeup, cushion makeup is just a waste of money, you waste so much product.
How much grams for mub foundation ?
I can't find the amount of product anywhere! It's not on their web site that I could find, and it's not on my compact. That is a good question!

I will try that!! Sometimes the dry sponge saves the day for me, as backward as it seems.
Looks beautiful (but you always get kissed by druids in Ireland). Maybe wortb attending to those areas where it clumps up.

One thing about Ireland's cloudy weather is that it is SO beautiful for filming!!! lol. I don't have any good natural light here since I live in the woods. Trees everywhere (though I would not trade them for anything, except maybe an Irish passport lol).

I bought this about 3 weeks ago. I have not used it everyday, but 10-15 times and I have huge pan. While I like the formula and application- this does not go very far. If you used this everyday, I think you would need a new pan every month. I have mixed feelings about that.
Oooh I am going to start counting each time I use it and see how long it takes to hit pan. That would get expensive fast.
To be bluntly honest, this foundation does not look good on you, and if it doesn't look good on you, it won't on me. Your complexion is usually great, but not here. Your rating is quite generous, I would give it C minus.
