Laura Geller has recently started running TV ads here in the DFW Metroplex with Geller herself talking about her Balance and Brighten baked foundation, so looks like the brand is making some moves! ♟That palette looks very well-designed. I've never tried Geller shadows, but I've always like Lorac shadows, so thanks for the useful comparison. The shine on that CT foundation stick is Glazed Donut bordering on Tin Man! I'd feel like a hub cap 😬

I’m not gonna lie, I really thought in the beginning of the video that you just had skincare on. Did not look like a foundation (tint). I would have to powder that down with my new favorite, ELF HD translucent pressed powder! Love the blush and the eye look.!

I have tried Laura Gellar but sad to say I had no luck with the face products

Hi Shelley I like Laura Gellor but it’s not a hyped brand unfortunately. Stila is still available in Marks and Spencer here in the UK. They do good eyeliners, but so does LG. My issue with some of the LG products is shades as many of their products have a poor shade selection. I used to use the porcelain balance n brighten when I was younger as my touch up my makeup product in my handbag for years, but lately it is looking very dry/cakey on me (it’s a fairly new one as I repurchased it last year). I’m not a powder foundation person all over but I used to use it occasionally to boost coverage from a tinted moisturiser etc if needed. Nowadays I just can’t take much powder on my skin and a light dusting is all that’s needed even from an extremely finely milled product. I think it’s just a bit heavy for me now. I still like her spackle primers though as well as some of the eye and cheek products. Best wishes x

The Tarte Fake Awake is very similar to the NYX Epic Smoke eyeliner crayon. NYX is cheaper; I love the shade Nude Haze as the perfect bedroom eyes brown, and White Smoke is a vanila cream that works as the eyerim brightener if you want a subtle matte that lasts forever. Thanks for the video, Shelly - I bought that Laura Gellar eye palette awhile back and have used it only three times bc I wasn't expecting the super warm tones, which rarely look good on my fair-cool complexion and dark brown eyes. I appreciate your way of seeing this as four-part groupings and will try new things with it.
I need to grab that Nyx one! The Tarte tends to turn yellow by the end of the day and I'm not a fan of that :(

Tip from a former farmers market vendor, get a cheap set of strap on knee pads and slap one on top of shoulder before using it to power tent up.

Last yr I got a bunch of LG products, almost for a full face. Long story short: I liked her baked blushes 😆. The eyeshadow palette I got is similar to the one you used, just a different color story, it looked very pretty on the pan but half of the shades are soo luckluster 😬 they barely have any pigmentation, I used it once and haven't reached for it again 💁♀️ I'm glad it worked for you, very pretty look, as always... take care Shelly, hugzzz 💜

Oh man , that worries me the way you you’ve been hurting and brushing your shoulder. I injured my shoulder a couple years ago while washing our dog and it subsequently froze up on me. I was surprised because I tried to keep moving it even though it was hurting but it literally froze up overnight . I woke up that morning and could only move my arm a few inches. My orthopedist told me the complete freezing and thawing process usually takes three years or more. To say it’s been a painful and debilitating is an understatement. Physical therapy and cortisone shots helped some but I have limited range of motion and it still hurts. Ironically my mother’s shoulder froze when she was the same age ( 50 )and my younger 50 year old sister is having the same issue now. Seems it doesn’t take much to bring it on. Please be careful .. 😁❤️
Knock on wood my shoulders have stayed strong. My one elbow, on the other hand, oy vey. Old workout injury that decided to flare up this year. We'll see.... lol I may just start falling apart! Is that what 50 brings?! 🤣
I bought this pallet at Marshalls and I hated it. I tossed it in the trash. I'm a medium tone Latina and did not show up on me.

If you see the new Laura Heller commercial - they are trying to talk 'mature' people to Tone Down from the tik tok kids. I can't handle growing older 'gracefully' Glitter forever.
I'll have to keep an eye out for that commercial - I haven't seen it yet!

Oh, I'm sorry, but if those were actual wildflowers, they would never get pollinated. Wild flowers are bright. Sigh. I love Laura Geller, but her eyeshadow palettes are boring.
