I don’t care about where my adverts go. Or if anyone watches them to be honest. I’m a small channel, it makes very little difference if my content is 10 minutes or 4 minutes. It’s not what I consider when making content. But thanks for watching 👍🏼
Engine guards are very good for taking the bike out of mud and for attaching some bags
Well I just hope you asked Chantal about her day too after she asked about yours, and the real reason she rolled her eyes to the response of being in the garage all day, is she was expecting to come home and find the housework done and a lovingly cooked meal ready for her! Good job she got a mention as the Awesome Filmographer in the description. Those brain farts will become more often and are in fact what happens as you race into your latter years! Don't ask me how I know........as I can't remember! 😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣 All the best to you both.

Hi, I bought my T7 a couple of weeks ago and started fitting bits which include your 5. I bought the AXP plastic bash plate and it was a pig to fit. The bolt on right front looking from the front just wouldn't line up and bite. after 3 hours on day 1 I gave up and went back on day 2 for another 3 hours. I totally agree with you that it's not just about riding the bike but from past and recent experience these add-ons that should be easy to fit can sometimes be a real pain. I look forward to some more videos from you. Thanks.
I remember struggling similarly with that bashplate fitment. Just slackened all bolts and went back through them all, threaded but loose then nipped them up. I remember the under ‘pivot’ bit was a bit awkward but since then I’ve had no problems at all removing and refitting for servicing etc. would have been much easier if I had the bike on a bench to be fair.
Hello there, just found you channel and enjoyed the video! I've had mine here in Alaska for three years now and of the farkles you mentioned I agree with and have them all. I noticed how you didn't mention the Akkro pipe, taller wind screen, Rally seat rack, tail tidy, and the Motoz GPS tires that I am running as well. I'm right at 10,000 miles now and maybe the only other thing I've added is the one-finger clutch and 'The Fix,' (a much improved rear brake peddle) from Camel ADV. in the future I plan to add some basic luggage rack protection for the bike (my plastics are showing lots of wear), lower engine guards from Altrider, with a water pump cover and possibly Camel's beefed-up kick stand and small tail rack. Great bike....I've loved every mile! Cheers!
AWESOME mate, thanks for watching. The fix and the camel light finger clutch arm are on my list too. It's never ending haha. Alaska must offer some amazing riding! I've seen some awesome rides up there on YT. Alaska and Canada are on the list for a trip one day. Probably without the bikes unfortunately but great to experience. Thanks for watching :-)

Bigger pegs, Steg Pegz, and chain guide. Done.
Chain guide for sure yes, but bigger pegs and steg pegz aren't gonna protect the bike, this is about protection not wants.
@@Coffeeandcream365 The primary way I protect my bikes is by optimizing my ability to control them and therefore minimize crash events.
So what you're saying is ... we buy crash guards to protect what isn't likely to touch terra ferma anyway? Sounds like a Scamaha part rather than a Yamaha part! Bikes are designed to generally not touch the ground at important points when they fall over so yes makes some sense. How much do engine bars weigh?
Chain guide? French guys Lolo Cochet and Amaury travel trough Africa without it, no problem.

I have considered doing it, but it's been done on other channels, they were a touch dry but not too bad. I may do a video next time I strip the back end down.
Hi Neil, I'm about to pick up my first T7 this week, this after finding my Africa Twin ADV Sport a little too heavy for my off-road exploring. She will be moved to general touring duties for now. I'm finding your channel inspiring, when I look at your bike, I find that is pretty much what I would do. Can you comment as to what windshield that is, and where did you get the graphics on the bike (SKDA?)? Also, what riding gear are you using?
Hi mate, thank you for watching my stuff :-) ... the screen is a Puig (I did a review on it a few months ago) ... yes SKDA do some really cool kits and they are top quality. In this video I'm wearing a Merlin wax jacket (three years old now and very good), just tradie pants, my boots are Tech7 Alpinestar.
Great vid - but I’m not sure I totally agree re the crash bars -Assuming you lay the bike down on flat ground then the Barkbusters will suffice.
If we ride on steep inclines with rocks and the like, then I would say there is a good chance of doing damage that may be prevented with crash bars?
Cosmetic can be fixed at home - damage that stops you riding home is a bigger problem?
I don't have crashbars and ride offroad more than half of the time on hills rocks and roots. Panels are beat up but that's it nothing is broken
@@bobbybecker8834 so what you are saying is you ride the bike to it’s full potential and have been lucky nothing has been seriously damaged.
@@preston2adelaide I think the only guy who is riding this bike at its full potential right now is probably pol tarres. I ride single track and trails most won't take their T7s and will be racing it in a hare scramble next month. But so far I have not broken anything serious due to not having crash bars.

What tires are those? Battle axes? How’s the road noise on them
Motoz Tractionator GPS, they're a good 50/50 I reckon but the rear can spin up in the wet when upright, decent mileage so far but due a change.
What brand is your chain guide?
Mine is the OE Yamaha … fitted at birth 🙂

gotta get diff tyres
Tyres are a great upgrade but this is more the things required to make sure we don't fail to get to destination. More about protecting our bikes. I reckon I've had four sets of different tyres since I got this bike. Thanks for watching mate.
