- Jordskott is a gripping Nordic mystery thriller set in Sweden. Seven years after the disappearance of her daughter Josefine, police investigator Eva Thörnblad is still trying to cope with the grief of her loss. Even though her daughter was said to have drowned, Eva knows in her heart that someone took her child on that fateful day by the Silverhöjd lake. When a young boy goes missing in the same forest Eva returns to delve into the dark mystery that haunts her. As she is drawn into the investigation she learns that there are much deeper and darker forces in operation. Eva now faces the toughest of all questions: how far is she willing to go to protect the one she loves?

Season I and II were so above imagination... Movie score and plot. Really dreaming of a Season III

True Nordic Noir here. Subtitles make it easily understandable to English-speaking people. Such a deep mystery series, with excellent writing
Now how did I miss this considering it came out almost ten years ago?? You cannot tell as this series is not dated whatsoever other than the cars that they drive!

Tend to prefer nordic noir with comic relief (black comedies) like Vikingane, Magnus, Hellfjord, In china they eat dogs, Adam's apples etc.. But regarding crime/mystery shows this is still on my pile of shame/backlog;o)
