"The company needs to give her a lot of compensation". Rest assured, Weyland-Yutani always put their employees needs first. Weyland-Yutani - Building Better Worlds.
I was about to write "yeeeeahhh...about the company..."
LOL

Weyland-Yutani: The Amazon of the Future
The Compony will take care of her very well . That is the Compony way (its not like there is a gun to my head as I write this)
The way this movie builds up the tension further and further by some beeps, visuals and most important, terrifying silence is exceptional. Also not seeing the Alien in full for most of the time.
An all time classic, propably not possible to be filmed today where there has to be constant shouting, explosions and shoot outs all the time.
I don’t know if it was mentioned but at the cinema release of the movie the tag line was “in space no one can hear you scream” great reaction and you will definitely enjoy the second one. Xxx thank you
After this, you could watch The Thing (1982). The Thing is another sci-fi/horror classic with a similar atmosphere to Alien, and with great special effects
The sequel is more action-oriented, Magpie. 👽
Fun Fact
When the 3 crew exit the ship on the external elevator. To make everything look even bigger, it was 3 child actors in space suits! So the external set looked 1.5 times bigger than it was 😉
I saw this movie in the theater when it first came out. People screamed at the chest-burster scene, including me . . .
Saw it in theaters in 1979... i was 10 years old... the movie of my nightmares...
The scariest movie I have seen so far in my opinion is Sinister(2012)
Hi Magy, now that you’ve made it through this horror classic, would you please, please, please consider reacting to the Netflix series “The Haunting of Hill House”? It’s one of the best written, best directed, best acted, and best filmed things I’ve ever seen. Scary, yes, but also beautiful, heart-rending, sad, and fabulous. You won’t regret it! Cheers!
Think about this:
This movie was made 43 years ago and still holds up today. Will always be a classic and started a new era of sci-fi horror that's never been duplicated.
@@Daniel-mw7pu I snuck in the theater to watch it, at 9 years old. Scared me 💩less....
@@slickrichelicopter8977 I was 12. Scared me to death. Fell in love with Sigourney Weaver for life.
True! There were many imitations, but none of them could compare to the original.
I was six when this film came out. My mother was at work and my father couldn't find a baby-sitter, so he took me to see this, telling me that this was going to be like Star Wars. So naturally I was excited to see this.
I was interested yet bored as I watched this but got way more into this when the facehugger latched onto the helmet.
Then all of the other stuff happened and I was just completely astonished and terrified. I had nightmares about this movie for years afterwards.
Then, summer of 1986, one of my aunts took me to see Aliens. And that completely transformed my outlook on the Alien franchise. That they could be fought and actually beat was amazing. I was supposed to read the Hobbit that summer but I was so amped up about Aliens that I couldn't think about anything else.
And then in 1987, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader came out, and I jumped at the chance to play Imperial Space Marines. Alien contributed a lot to my personal culture and made me a die-hard sci-fi/horror an.
Well said my friend, well said.
This movie is one of the best examples of how to make a movie. The suspense is based on the ambiance of the ship, the impeccable acting, and the anticipation of something happening. The xenomorph is only on the screen for a total of 4 minutes.
Can't remember the exact words, but I believe that Hitchcock said something about horror movies is best, when not showing the monster, but the suspense and dread that it might turn up is the real horror. 🤔
@@kimleechristensen2679 The most scariest thing is that, you can't see.
The Conjuring films (moreso the first one) also do this quite well. Most of it is just atmosphere and tension building.
Except for the "Jazz Hands" though, yeah?
@@stevehill5803 Yes! I'm glad it's not just me. Never seen anyone else comment on that.
“The Company has to pay for her trauma”

Oh, hi, Roy! - “If only you could see what I have seen with your eyes!”
@@prebenpoejensen8256 Yeah, but all those moments will be lost. Kinda like tears. In rain.
Excellent choice, Magy. One of the best sci-fi horrors ever made. Don't worry about shouting or screaming.. it's all part of the experience!
I hope your back recovers soon.
Also- "Bye bye Bitches" REALLY needs to be made your catchphrase🤣❤️
(more horror movies please, Magy.. your jump-scare reactions are amazing!).
"Bones are bent outward, like he exploded from inside."
"Should I be concerned?"
😁👍 Few people seem to make that insightful leap! I was so happy to hear this that I dropped my snacks -- spilling crumbs all over the sofa. 🤦♂️
"It's like he exploded from the inside"
Magy: Should I be concerned?
Movie: Hold my beer
Magy: It is an older one, so maybe I'm not going to be scared.
Me: LOL! OMG! You are going to be scared out of your mind.
Despite the horror elements. Alien actually BROKE THE MOLD of a ton of Hollywood stereotypes and Sci-Fi misconceptions. A "working class" type craft instead of "military/government", so there are ZERO military weapons or "secret stash of weapons" on the ship at all. Seriously chaotic interior instead of a "calm setting" due to alarms, lights, set designs. A 2nd in command (Ripley) who will jump all over someone and NOT care if the Commander agreed or not. A 2nd in command's approach of "following rules" and "careful planning" being FAR MORE effective than commander's "head-long into problem" approach. Female crew members ACTUALLY being real astronauts and not there for simply "medical" staff or "administration" purposes. Also, female crew that were respected members of the crew in general, not someone's little "fling on the side" type character.
And of course, we get Gieger's Alien designs. Pushing the boundaries of practical effects and set designs for "low budget" movies. Introduction of androids that could pass as humans flawlessly. Crew members having brutal death scene being "unrehearsed" for real reactions (The supper table scene, they only had a "general" idea of what was supposed to happen... NOT how the special effects would work. And brilliant acting made some of them think he was really choking and that filming had stopped so that when the special effect happens and excessive spurts take place, people really freaked out.)
I'm told one of the reasons the female roles are not the standard ones is that the script was written before the genders of the characters were decided. Ripley could have been a man.
@@blacktronlego - It is possible. Never really heard of them writing specific characters for specific genders. BUT, even if it was just "generic character" before casting was done? Well, Ripley obviously broke huge barriers of "female stereotypes" with this one, the 2nd, and even the 3rd. By the time 4+ came out, so many people had tried to copy her footsteps, that the writers kind of made Ripley "generic" in the later parts of the franchise as far as character types.
Situations were obviously different... but her 'core characteristics' were seen all over the place by that time.
The cast did see the complicated rig John Hurt was sitting in under the table, but they had no idea splatter would be involved until they saw the crew put on rain slickers.
You should be proud of yourself. Alien is still considered one of the scariest movies of all time, so making it all the way through is an accomplishment.
I bought a doberman puppy a few years back and named her "Ripley" after this character. I wanted a strong badass female name.
She ended up being one of the sweetest, most gentle dogs ever.
Heh, love my badass Ripley pup.
The poor alien was trying to take a nap and she woke it up and then spaced it. So cruel. Pretty impressive cast.
@@mikesilva3868 That has to be the oddest response ever🤣
"Poor alien." I think not. He was basically hiding in her closet, waiting for her to take her clothes off and then reached his arm out to get a feel. Perv got what he deserved.
Getting scared at the computer bleep is pretty reasonable. There’s so much tension built up just by showing the huge, empty ship.
Oh boy, whenever someone sees this for the first time, I always anticipate their reaction to one scene in particular.....(dinner). I'd also recommend seeing "Aliens." You'll definitely enjoy it!
Still one of the best sci-fi movie even after 40+yrs. Great reaction Magy 😃
I REALLY wanna see you watch the sequel so badly!

If she's gonna watch the third one as well, (one at time though obviously) better for it to be the Assembly Cut.
@@Veyron722skyhook I hope she watches the third one 🙏❤️✌️
@@jeremystevens6640 I half expected people would say no to that. Glad I was wrong. Long as its the longer one though. Better for her to get the full experience.
Definitely won't be a problem with the second one since most home media versions of Aliens are the Special Edition version anyway.
@@Veyron722skyhook the longer one I agree ❤️✌️
Aliens is a sequel that is more action packed than it is horror and I feel is even better than Alien.
If you want horror then you should try John Carpenter's The Thing or even The Shining.
Or for more horror set in space, Event Horizon.
Alien is a masterclass in pacing and tension buildup, none of the other movies in the series managed to capture that, Aliens is an incredible action movie with horror elements, and all the others are just mostly terrible, although I'm gaining a new appreciation to Alien 3 because it's still good compared to all the others.
The only piece of media that comes close to Alien's masterful pacing is Alien: Isolation, an amazing horror video game.
Magy throughout to the entire film: "They will die! He will die! She will die! They're all going to die!!!"😂
Don't worry the second movie is more action and less horror.👍
Tbh. In the original script they all died and only the Alien survived.
The cat callously watching the alien tear apart the mechanic is like "hmm, I like what you did there, I should be taking notes"
Predators respect each other.
And cats are fuckers.
This is my all time favorite horror movie. I saw it when I was WAY too young at age 11. The Xenomorph was literally the embodiment of my nightmares throughout my childhood.
Fun/Scary Fact: The Xenomorph is actually based on a real life insect, the Tarantula Hawk which is a wasp from the southwest United States. It reproduces by hunting tarantulas, paralyzing them with it’s stinger, dragging them into the spiders hollow, laying an egg on the spiders belly, then the egg hatches and the larvae devours the spider from the inside out.
a NOT so fun fact about the tarantula hawk is that it has one of the most painful stings in the insect kingdom. people have described it as unbearable.
@@davidbennett1357 I saw the video.
Mother nature is a sadistic b!tch
@@davidbennett1357 I think the water bug (toe biter) is the only other insect that rivals the sting of the tarantula hawk.
26:47 My favorite line in the whole movie. "I can't lie to you about your chances, but....... you have my sympathies."
My dad told me a hysterical story from the first time he and a bunch of relatives saw this at a family gathering. When that iconic chest-burst scene came on, my then 5 year old cousin shouted "What the hell was that?!" Then everyone was laughing so hard they had to pause the movie.

34:35 HELLO!!!! 😱😱😱😱😱😱
Obligatory fun fact that has to be mentioned in every "Alien first time reaction" video:
In the scene where the chestburster alien hatches none of the cast knew what was going to happen. They kinda expected something going on because the camera crew was wearing raincoats but otherwise nobody knew what would really happen. So all the reactions are very real.
Love that movie. IT's so effective because it builds up tension and mystery. It doesn't do all those cheap jumpscares like today's horror movies. Everything starteling happens very raw, with emotional impact and often without a music cue to let you know something is going to happen. It's just really effective writing and fantastic cinematography. This movie was made because it was going to be a good movie not primarily to scare people with gore and jumpscares.
Veronica Cartwright who played Lambert commented somewhere that her reaction was intensified even more when she was hit by the sprays of blood that hit her in the face and just about everyone in the room...
The scifi genre still pays homage to this film in many creative ways. It was an influential movie. It's the reason Sigourney Weaver is still popping up in scifi movies, even if just for a cameo. Lol
John Hurt went on to be Ollivander. Ian Holm went on to be Bilbo. ❤❤
Ian Holm was Bilbo, while the year before this was made, John Hurt played Aragorn... :D

I don't think you should leave out Harry Dean Stanton either.

Magy: "Like the company needs to give her a very big compensation."
Everyone who has seen Aliens: .......
I've seen this movie summed up as "no one listens to the smart woman, and then they all die, except her and her cat." Kinda the ultimate feminist morality tale.
Except Ripley had equal chances in being a man when the film was being made. All the characters were written without consideration to their gender at first. Only last names and their actions in the story.
So yeah, ultimate feminist morality tale, when her being a woman was a secondary consideration.
@@Tounushi I would argue that that's precisely why that approach makes it that much more impactful than if they had Ripley be a man, as originally written, when the decision was made to cast Sigourney Weaver in the role.
@@moviemaestro800 None of the characters were originally written as men or women, as far as I've heard. They were only addressed by their last names. Equal opportunity casting.
Of course there was stuff that was essentially ad-libbed as well, like Yaphet Kotto being confrontational with Weaver while filming, pushing her to assert the authority her character would rightfully have. And I'm referring to the scene after Dallas was captured.
So as far as the characters go, it's a beautiful collaboration between the writers keeping the details open and the cast playing off of what they had.
EDIT: Just love this reaction: Magy (13:57) vs Lambert (17:23)
Glad you are going into this series. Depending on how you like them, you may want to stop at Aliens. But if you prefer to complete the stories, there are several movies to go through. You can even crossover to Predator. It changes from horror to action though.
An a separate note, Alien: Isolation is great game for you, if you haven't played it yet.
I say 3 and 4 are Cryo Dreams of Ripley that makes it more Palatable to my mind (i do love 4 though but i add it ) Alien Isolation is best played after watching 2, asit fits nicely in the timeline. plus the DLC where you can Play as Ripley or Dallas in an "alternate2 take
You ought to check out John Carpenter’s The Thing starring Kurt Russell
Also very suspensful
You have to realize at that time, they were really pushing what they could get away within a R rated film. My parents went to see the film in 1979. They said when the chestburster scene happened, many people got up and headed for the restrooms holding their stomachs. A few never came back to see the rest of the movie.
You should watch the Thing (1982) next! Its also a really good classic!
The real bad guy In this movie is Jones. The cat. Responsible for two crew members deaths. Sees the Alien behind the crew members, doesn’t react...
Give me a heads up atleast. Damn cat. Jones is the real villain. What a dick. Screw that cat...
Yeah, cats suck in earth and even in space!😂
This was one of the first sci-fi/horror films I used to watch as a kid and it still holds up many years later. Excellent reaction as always Magy 😊🥰
I remember being so scared watching this movie lol. This time it’ll be just great fun! Maybe 😅
I've watched a lot of reactions to Alien. Yours was one of the best, Magy, very entertaining.
On its own this film caused so much fearful anxiety that the second installment, 'Aliens,' was received with an overwhelming nervous caution by a reluctant returning audience! That was my memory in 1986 as my girlfriend and I timidly found our way into UA Cinemas in Riverside, California! Well done Ridley Scott and Cast!
I miss that theater.
Ever since my mom showed me Alien, I was amazed of how scary and cool the Xenomorphs looked and while I did enjoy the franchise, I was more into superheroes and horror slasher franchises. But still, Alien vs Predator is awesome in my opinion.
Aliens 2 and the 1st predator are much better than avp. There are cool ideas in avp tho.
"Like a Pokémon." 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I have _never_ heard that before!
I'm so sorry your back is giving you problems and hope it goes away fast.
Don't be embarrassed, you have every right to be proud of yourself for getting through this movie, it was monumental at the time it was released and has been causing millions into jump scares over the last 40+ years.

SO GLAD TO HAVE YOU BACK BUT PLEASE KEEP CARING FOR YOURSELF, WE ONLY WISH YOU THE BEST OF HEALTH!
WE LOVE YOU MAGY!
Now you need to watch John Carpenter's "The Thing" (1982).
Yeah, for somebody who has always avoided any horror movies because they're too scary, and then you watch what is considered to be just about the scariest sci-fi/horror movie *ever made* ... you definitely did well! I know a few people who tried to watch this, and ended up turning it off and walking away! So ... *well done!*
Maybe, after _"Aliens"_ you could try _"Jurassic Park"_ - it is also, technically, a sci-fi/horror movie however it doesn't involve aliens in space, but rather, dinosaurs here on Earth! Another *excellent* sci-fi/horror movie is John Carpenter's _"The Thing"_ ... this time it's a creature running amok in Antarctica! I will warn you: there are some truly *disgusting* scenes in it! Some reactors have admitted that they thought they were going to get sick to their stomach and throw-up! That's in addition to being scary as crap! Maybe this would be one time that you should have a friend watch with you!
*Good luck!*
P.S. - I'm hoping your back gets better soon! What has worked well for me, when in significant pain, is extra-strength acetaminophen along with extra-strength ibuprofen (a full dose of each). My surgeon had me taking that combination after my back surgery in December (if you're in the U.S., don't worry, you don't need a prescription, you just buy them separately & take them together) ... it worked *really* well for me!
You must have a high pain tolerance. Usually they prescribe narcotics for back surgery.
@@jeremyfrost2636 ... Oh, I wish I had a high pain tolerance! The surgery was a 'minimally invasive' hernia repair. I was given about a dozen codeine tablets, but was told to try the acetaminophen/ibuprofen combo at first and see how it worked. Worked so well, I never touched the codeine! Tried it since then for another (related) spell of pain, and again, it *completely* took care of it! I'm now an official 'fan-boy' of that combo! I tell everybody who mentions having some serious pain to take a dose of extra-strength acetaminophen and a dose of extra-strength ibuprofen, and just see if it doesn't knock it down _a lot_ if not totally *eliminate* it!
@@ephennell4ever I'm really glad it worked for you as well as it does for me. I've definitely had success with it too. But I was surprised to hear that it works for back surgery as well because I figured that'd be a stronger pain than I have.
@@jeremyfrost2636 ... my surgery was a 'minimally invasive' hernia repair; they made four little 'entry-ways' to go in through. The most bothersome part of it was that one point was right on my belt-line; when that spot started to ache I knew that in another 45-minutes to an hour I was going to need to 're-up'.
But yeah, it sure worked well!
Good to hear it worked for you, too.👍
Congratulations for getting through this Classic scary movie. When you're next feeling brave, I'd recommend Aliens, then Predator, then Alien vs Predator. Some of my favorite movies, with Aliens being one of my all-time favorites.
Incredible reaction to this horror classic! Fun fact, Magy: during the chestburster scene, the actors weren't told exactly what would happen, just that the guy would be on the table freaking out, so their reactions of shock, and horror were totally real.
ohhh that is so alsome hahah so they were like me surprised 😂
@@MagicMagy Exactly! The character Lambert screaming "Oh, God!!!" was NOT acting, and she actually passed out once the camera stopped rolling.
@@sgauden02 - Ironically, the scream was due to being hit by a spurt of over pressurized fake blood hitting her in the face. She actually thought it was REAL blood at first, hence the terrified scream that took place. It wasn't until after she recovered from passing out that she was aware that it had all been the special effects that caused her to be hit by the fake blood, which due to freaking out... she was in the WRONG SPOT and wasn't supposed to be hit at all. It was supposed to hit the wall instead. But the reaction was so perfect (Due to being real) that the director insisted that they keep BOTH the reaction and scream in the movie. Due to her real-life freaking out, and the effects, it has become an ICONIC scene of the franchise, horror movies in general, and Hollywood as well. Anyone who has seen the movie will INSTANTLY recognize the scene just from that one moment of film.
And Yaphet Kotto (Parker) reportedly had to leave the set after the scene because his blood pressure shot up dangerously high.
Then they got John Hurt to do it again in Spaceballs
"I'm pretty sure it isn't a zombie"
No, you're not. It's alien life, it could turn into a nuclear bomb when it starts to decay for all you know.
Of course, it's all a front, but this is one of the dumbest lines in any sci-fi movie
This movie is the definition of tension and claustrophobia, a horror classic. The sequels are more action centric though. But still fun.
I really love Alien but my fav is Aliens by James Cameron (Director'ds cut version of corse)
Alien truly IS a masterpiece and your reaction was amazing! Others in the comments have mentioned the sequel which is a fantastic film as well. After that, I would say don't bother watching any of the rest of the franchise because the other movies all SUCK. I've heard the comparison made that Alien is the ghost story and Aliens is the haunted house.
I would strongly recommend watching the first two Predator movies (strange coincidence that only the first two of THOSE are good too....).
The cat was safe. That's all that matters. :-)
Great reaction to a scifi horror classic! Hope your back gets better soon. Cheers!
"I wanted to switch it up." Wish granted lol. This is a true classic, and good job getting through it. The direct sequel was even better in my opinion, but more sci-fi action than horror.
I don’t watch horror too because of the jump-scares. Also, u should watch the sequel too it’s da bomb.
Great reactions as always, Miss Magy!👏🏽This movie was a very big deal in 1979. It was very rare to have a female as the hero of the movie back then. This film was directed by Ridley Scott. The sequel "Aliens" was directed by James Cameron (Terminator). You should really watch the sequel soon. It starts where this movie ends. There are two versions of "Aliens" (1986). If you can you might want to try getting the Special Edition. It is 154 mins long. It contains 17 minutes of deleted scenes not in the theatrical cut. P.S. - I hope your back is feeling better.🙏🏽 Usually lying down with a heating pad helps.
Hi Magy, you did very well during the movie. As I can remember, when I watched in my 17 (so almost 20 years ago), it really scared sh*t out of me :-D Today it's not so scary, cause I know what to expect, but the atmosphere remains even after more then 40 years. This is hte proof of quality.
Btw this one is the scariest of all of them from the franchise, the second is more action, it's different, but same quality.
I love the part when the ship blows up, many people comment on why such a big explosion. The reason is they are a towing vessel with a refinery that's processing ore, so the ship blows then that triggers the station being towed to also explode. :)
Fun fact. During the famous chest bursting scene Ridley Scott actually never informed the actors of what was going to happen to catch as legitimate of a reaction as possible. They we're actually scared sh**less when they saw it burst out of his chest.
I was wondering when will you watch this franchise, finally. Ripley is one of the most iconic character 🌟😊👍
Poor girl is gonna have nightmares!
It won the Oscar for Best Visual Effects, it made $200 million dollars against an $11 million dollar budget, it put Sigourney Weaver on the map, it spawned 3 Sequels 2 spinoff films and 2 crossover films as well as countless video games, comics, novels, toys and board games.
Now please watch Aliens, the sequel! You said so many things and asked so many questions that lead right into the next movie! No spoilers, but I think you will like it! Aliens is the best of all the franchise, IMO.

Yes Ian Holm is on board and is Bilbo in The Lord of the Rings. He also voiced Frodo in the BBC 1980s radio adaptation, which is quite good.
I looked through comments before I posted this so that I don't repeat a post. BUT Did not know he voiced Frodo in radio adaptation... pretty cool!
@@joek468 Yes. I have the 26 tape set. Check out the 1981 version.
It is a very impressive movie! And I recommend you to watch Schidler's List. I think you can watch the trailer first. One is official original trailer ruclips.net/video/gG22XNhtnoY/видео.html, another is 25 years anniversary trailer. It is a true story and can make a different for people's life. But you must prepare for it because it is very very very hard to watch. All the worst things are together and the only one is fight to against the bad things. The story is powerful and you must watch it! Thank you!
Hello Miss Magy !!! Another Tough movie to watch Yet Predator vs Aliens Will Take you of the beaten path As Well
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
This movie and its sequel, Aliens, really set extremely high bar for sci-fi/horror films that a few other films if any have been able to meet.
Alien and Aliens are two of the greatest horror films of all time :)
I like the sequels but they aren't nearly as good as the first two
Glad you're reacting to this 💜
Aliens wasn't really a horror movie. More of a action movie, though it still was intense.
@@campagnollo totally agree.. Aliens is definitely a must watchin the Alien franchise but not a horror movie. The switch of genres also was one of the points that made that movie so special.
Yeah... 3 had too many studio execs getting in the way, and kind of ruined a TON of material they were trying to get to. 4+ kind of skate down the same path of "just insert Alien into general script here and start filming".
There ARE some elements that get really damn good in the later movies. But they are only snippets. Overall, they are just flat out disappointments or just feel too "generic" overall. But key elements do stick with you, even if you can't recall exactly which movie those elements came from.
The whole story about the writing/filming of Alien 3 is very interesting.
To be fair with all the issues they had and director after director leaving the project David Fincher did a tremendous job. From what I read he was about to quit Hollywood after that shitshow and that was his first movie..
@@fzoid3534 - Between re-writes, director switches, studio exec's making demands on what had to stay and what had to be cut out, production problems, casting opt'ing in and out, cast arguing with scripts and director on set over direction, producers coming in demanding to keep "cutting corners", and having to put up with all of that WHILE trying to live up to the franchise legacy at that point with a new director? Yeah, I'm surprised Fincher didn't just say "screw this, I'm done".
However, to show just how much he resented the treatment he and the cast got during production, he still refuses to acknowledge the film or do interviews about it OTHER than to badmouth the people who made the shitshow to begin with. He even tried to have his name taken off the film, which is an unheard of thing for a first time director to do. But execs wouldn't let him, and they tried to promote the film heavily off of his name years later. As if that actually helped the situation when Fincher wanted nothing to do with the film after done editing it for release.
In Avengers Infinity War Peter Parker ejected that one lieutenant of Thanos out of the ship using inspiration of the scene in Alien at the end where the alien gets sucked out of the ship and floats away. Part of his obsession with "old movies." Now you know the Easter egg 😁
The originator and veteran of space horror movie, blown away by director Ridley Scott's imagination and efforts. To think this movie achieving the impossible by that time, while male became the "fertility tools", and female became the lone surviving hero. Don't miss the sequel "Aliens" by the way, you will love it for sure.
I still say and have since I first saw this in 1979 that if Lambert didn’t want to get out of the way, Parker should have just torched it.
One of my favorites! I saw the 25th and 35th anniversary screenings for it, and the ship is a giant model that is at the MoPop museum in Seattle. :) Aliens has a longer version that most people like better, but the original will work also.
Yes, there's a director's cut of Aliens which does include additional scenes...
The first 3 have good directors cuts for some reason alien loses 4mins but gets extra sceans, aliens gets extra 27mins and alien 3 a extra 33mins makes each film better
Well done Magy! Seriously hope you watch the second movie, Aliens! Thanks for this great reaction!
"Alien"(1979): great! "Aliens"(1986): great! *** And then... #3 and #4... Yeah..............................
do you recognize Bilbo Baggins?
"That's evolution! Like pokemon." Such a great reaction, thankyou.
This film is the gold standard for what a sci fi/horror film should be. If you want to watch another sci fi/horror classic you should watch The Thing (1982).
If you want to experience these feelings for yourself, you have to play the game Alien Isolation, which makes you play as Ripley's daughter Amanda. Who goes searching for her mother and ends up meeting some Aliens herself.
Please go all the way with this movie franchise to at least prometheus! :) Lot of views will be involved for you! :)
"There's a horror movie called Alien? That's really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you."--The Doctor.
Sorry to hear your back is hurting. Hope you feel better soon!
Speaking of video games, there's a great one called Alien Isolation that's very much like this movie.
Hope you won't have nightmares! 😊
