  • 2018+ JL Steering stabilizer kit, or 07-18 JK Stabilizer bracket. Both the JK and JL Wrangler have the steering stabilizer below the tie rod, which can easily be damaged, so this is a simple fix.
On the JL model, you need PN COR-5209011 which is the axle side bracket and tie rod bracket. On the JK model you need PN COR-5209010 which is ONLY the axle side bracket. JK has a tie rod bracket that can be rotated up and reused.
So before you damage you factory or high end Fox, Bilstein or other steering stabilizer, Upgrade to our double sheer axle mount, with new Grade 8 hardware included.

Excellent video. I just installed your bracket and a used Fox 2.0. The one I had installed before got banged up when I was out crawling with friends. Took about 2hrs, but only because I made stupid mistakes. First, I didn't think I'd need to get the wheels off the ground, which was sooo stupid. :) Then I failed to measure the center to center distance, blindly assuming it can just end up where it ends up. Well, that idea got shot to hell when I found I could turn the steering wheel 2.5 turns to the left, but only 1.0 turns to the right. :) Took the shock off, forced it to compress/expand and found the sweet spot. Reinstalled, went for a ride, got the same steering wheel rotations for left vs right. OMG forgot how great it is to have a steering stabilizer, not having one for some weeks. #deathwobblesux

This is a cool part, however, on my 2015 JK, I had already had your 3 link long arm kit with axle truss installed, and it was a pain in the ass getting this part in, with the axle truss installed. I got it done. This part should be included with your long arm kit, or at least, highly recommended that you get it, and install this bracket, before the truss goes on. Other than that, your parts are awesome!

Don't buy it! On the kit I received, the two U-bolts were different. One of them, the bends were fine, and with work did slide over the tie rod. The second u-bolt was completely wrong. Would not fit on tie rod no matter what you did. The bend at the 'U' was incorrect and not wide enough. I did not discover this until after I had everything apart and the first bracket installed. I spent the next two hours with a torch and a bar the same thickness as tierod, re-bending the u-bolt so that it would fit.Something they do not mention also is when you pull bolt out for link, the link hyme will move significantly. I had to take vehicle off jack stands so tires would 'spring in' so that hyme joint would line up. And still you have to 'encourage' bolt to go in with the air gun.Try Metal Cloak or another brand.

Hello. Sorry to hear you had an issue with one of our products. We would be happy to send you a correct u bolt. Please email us so we can look up your order and we can send a replacement part. The vehicle track may move a little, but if your suspension is adjusted and the track is set properly you shouldn't have to fight getting the bolt back in. Please give us a call at the shop, i would like to resolve your u bolt issue, but also see how your suspension is setup and see why you had that issue.

Jeep has 3800 miles on it. Suspension is bone stock.

So its possible if the steering wheel was locked it would pull to one side. And if it is stock, and non adjustable, you can have a friend turn the steering wheel left and right slowly until you can line up the bolt and it should go in easily. With an adjustable track bar, you want to make sure steering wheel is unlocked, vehicle under its own weight, set the track by measurement from the same point on the frame to same point on the tire. Then use a ratchet strap to pull the body one way or another until it is centered. Then adjust your track bar so the bolt goes in easily. Our track was set properly, wheel unlocked, so it didn't pull or shift as you mentioned.
