How do you get “Clear Disk PWD” to be available? I’m not able to select it.

I have HP LJ Enterprise M577 with FutureSmart 3. Can I upgrade to FutureSmart 4 or 5? So far only been able to flash firmware of FutureSmart 3. I have been trying for sometime to flash/manual upgrade FutureSmart 4 and also FutureSmart 5 via web UI/USB and pre-boot USB, but failing every time, although it says that FutureSmart 5 is supported on this printer model.

I encounter difficulties. Changing my hard drive if I turn on my printer, the screen stays black. But when I remove the hard disk the screen comes back and tells me the error 99.09.66. what to do?

I can get to the point that shows erase unlock but that is not an option I can select due to the slashes on it. Any other suggestions?

Hi Frank - I have the same thing, erase/unlock has slashes on it. How did you resolve it?
