How to Fix a 99.09.63 Error Code - HP FutureSmart Printers

In this video Laser Pros’ tech support explains how to resolve 99.09.63 (Incorrect Disk) and the subsequent 99.09.67 (Disk Not Bootable) control panel error codes on HP FutureSmart Printers. The 99.09.63 error code is expected when installing a replacement HDD, SSD, eMMC or formatter.
The procedures to resolve this error are basically the same for printers with full touchscreen or numeric keypad control panel.
** A USB thumbdrive with the printer’s specific firmware .bdl file will be needed. Firmware can be downloaded to a USB thumbdrive from support.hp.com/ **
