Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude. I've had this on my "to watch" list for like 2 years now for some reason and it suddenly popped up in my feed, so I finally watched it and I'm like, where has this been all my life!? So sweet. Seriously, looks great and the twisting you did really makes it look like a McFarlane webline. Nicely done. Thanks for sharing! I'll definitely be trying this out in the near future.
It also works great with the ties that come in the packaging. The clear ones with metal wire inside look like it's webby. I used to do that a lot with my Spider-Man and venom figures.
Thanks this really helped me. I've been trying to do something like this for years. I just don't understand why toy company's never did this in the past
damn I thought this would be hard... turns out this was super easy! and my webs look amazing but I didn't have access to wires so I used twist ties but it still works! but you just earned a sub
@@FreeterProductions Absolutely, I am trying to find a proper wiring to try this, will try to recreate the Endgame scene where Spidey swings from Giant Man.
Thanks so much I love how it looks there is a hobby lobby right next to me and this will look great for my spider-man stop motion I will give you a shoutout in my video thanks again so cool
I personally don't like the idea of using wire...and I don't know why, I'm just weird. But that aside I really really like how this turned out. It looks really good.
Of course no stores around here have such wire coated in white vinyl or anything similar. Had to settle for a white'ish silver. Doesn't look bad but it's not exactly what I'd like. It's good enough for whenever I happen to come across some proper white coated wires though.
What do I need to do, If I want to make custom figures on marvel legends? Do I need a technique before and after painting tips? Cuz I just have tried to paint on figure with model color paints and after drying the paint comes easily off. Did I did maybe something wrong? Or the paints are not good enough for plastic? I want to know! Maybe you can help my out bro.
This is a GREAT tutorial, but I went out today to buy some wire, and they don’t sell it anymore! The hunt begins! I want to make black webbing for venom too.
Unfortunately they stop carrying the wire that used for now. If you have a dollar tree store nearby they carry something similar. It’s called the tool bench hardware wire set and it comes in both black and red. Using the black wire and then painting it white will give it a comic book look. Hope it helps.
I'm going to use a combination of techniques from different videos to make a personally better looking spiderman webbing. For example another video put hot glue and paint on the end of the web to make a goopy bit, but in this video he just curves it to make the end which honestly is more efficient and just as good. But one thing that neither of these videos did was to actually make the starting loop where you put the webbing on the wrist around the peg of the wrist joint on a specific figure so that the loop is inside the joint when you peg it in, hiding it more. I did however take quite a bit from this video though so thanks!
Hey are there alternatives to vinyl coated wire? From where I live I cant find these, and twist ties dont seem to be good as they dont straighten out like that at all
There is an alternative. If there is a dollar tree near you they have a black and red wire that they sell in the hardware section. They are basically the same as the white one in the video. You can paint the black wire white paint acrylic once you finish making the web. It will give you comic style look. Hope this helps.
Amazing!!! I love this! But, can someone help to find this wire? I have look for it in my town (Madrid, Spain) and in Amazon, ebay... and didn’t find it! Please, help!!! Many thanks in advance!
I made some today ( before I watched the vid) and I see only one problem, its limp, I used just silver beading wire and it's not limp at all and has the silvery effect to it
The wire is a coated vinyl wire. I don't know per se if its copper inside it. The thickness of the wire is 24 gauge. Its very thin but he vinyl coating adds a little more thickness. I will place a link to wire I used in the description of the video. Hope it helps.
The wire was Hobby Lobby brand called "On The Wire". Its a white vinyl coated wire. I don't think they carry it anymore but you might find your luck at other craft stores.
Ordered myself a Symbiote Spider-Man figure a few hours ago, this tutorial has me even more hyped.
Great idea! I love how it turns kinda bendy after twisting it like that, also it looks almost exactly like the comics!
thanks.
I love you
Ur profile tho
This man for the past 5 years has saved my life

Haha I used to do that too but we never had enough to make a detailed webbing like this eh?
Thanks this really helped me. I've been trying to do something like this for years. I just don't understand why toy company's never did this in the past
King Dev Supreme smart
This is the best tutorial I have seen so far, just wish I could find the beading wire!
This is exactly what I needed! And it’s simple, which is great for me because I am a total beginner at customization. Thanks a lot!!
I'm glad it helps.
This tutorial was great! I was wondering, can you do a tutorial for Symbiote tendrils?Something akin to Spider-Man 2 on PS5 would be cool.
I really liked the ball you did at the end of the wire, that's pretty cool.I'll had to try that.
i just bought a Spider-Man figure, and this helped me a lot. thanks for the idea! it's pretty simple but works great, and looks great too.

Thanks you for the video you’ve saved a lot of people a lot of money by making your own and not buying from someone else on eBay thanks
damn I thought this would be hard... turns out this was super easy! and my webs look amazing but I didn't have access to wires so I used twist ties but it still works! but you just earned a sub

Yea but you could also use twisty ties the white ones and make your own web I prefer that and that wire build

thanks man now my spderman looks cool so yay
Looks fantastic!
Is stem wire and bendy wire the same will i get the same results?
Man, you are awesome! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for this. Did you order material online somewhere?
I found the wire at a Hobby Lobby store. I didn't order it online. You should be able to find the wire in the bead/jewelry section.
Mighty Saiyan do u live in Maine?
This was amazing dude thank you !! Saved me Money!
Thanks for sharing this cool idea. :D
hey brother thanks for the tutorial it really helped
glad it helps
a power drill works much better for twisting the wire. hold one end with the drill and the other end with some pliers and run the drill.
Take it one step further and use a sharpie or paint to color the wrist loop to match spidey's suit, then you won't see the white around the wrist.
Awesome!! Great Idea, thats my next project! Thanks bro😎👍🏼

Awesome vid! Thanks!
hmmmmm I wonder if you use floral wire, either spray paint it white and still get the same effect and look you did
I just made one and it's awesome!!!!
you wrap it all up into a nice gooey white ball at the tip
Nice 👌 vid really helpful for my figures thank u
Nice video dose this work for 3.75 inch figures?
I'm not sure. It works well for 1/12 and 1/6 scale figures. You can try it out and see.
I assume it will work with other figures besides marvel legends.
Yes. This also works for other figures as well.
hey man congrats i just gave you 200 subs :)
Logan the Hunter thanks man. I hope these videos help.
ya they helped me out a lot now i can take even better pics with my spider man figures
That is great! Thanks!

@@FreeterProductions gotcha
What is the wire called? The link doesn't work anymore :(
