That's awesome! Also, almost every Metallica show opens with "Ecstasy of Gold",from "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly", which is also a spaghetti western.
Why does it feel like it's even more emotional than the normal version? I didn't think that was even possible. If I had a nickel for every time this damn song made me cry...
New blood joins this Earth And quickly he's subdued Through constant pain disgrace The young boy learns their rules With time the child draws in This whipping boy done wrong Deprived of all his thoughts The young man struggles on and on he's known A vow unto his own That never from this day His will they'll take away What I've felt What I've known Never shined through what I've shown Never be Never see Won't see what might have been What I've felt What I've known Never shined through what I've shown Never free Never me So I dub the unforgiven They dedicate their lives To running all of his He tries to please them all This bitter man he is Throughout his life the same He's battled constantly This fight he cannot win A tired man they see no longer cares The old man then prepares To die regretfully That old man here is me What I've felt What I've known Never shined through what I've shown Never be Never see Won't see what might have been What I've felt What I've known Never shined through what I've shown Never free Never me So I dub the unforgiven You labeled me I'll label you So I dub the unforgiven Never free Never me So I dub the unforgiven So I dub the unforgiven
...What? I named the guitarists, dude. I've listened to every one of their albums at least 30 times. I think I know something about Metallica, "Lil' Wayne".
this song in awesome! been trying to learn this on guitar, but i only can play the intro and chorus. the verse is hard, especially since i pretty much just started playing guitar.
darkville I know this is 6 years old (and I hope you have learned how to play the verses by now) but the verses are like super simple. A single fret accompanied by an open string that is lower than the single fret note string. Maybe rhythmically it could be considered difficult but otherwise super simple... As effective, and as good, as the Black album is I still think "Thrash Metal For Dummies" would have been a better (and most definitely funnier) suited name. Most of the music is super easy compared to their earlier stuff.
when listening to this, imagine: a war is over, and the final sodier has said goodbye to his family as he is walking into the sunset, never to be seen again
@xhugojmc A;ways reminds me of when Lars fucks up the drum track on a year and a half in the life of metallica and bangs his stick through the snare drum.
I love the intro, it sounds like music that would be played in a spaghetti western scene that leads to a massive gunfight.
That's awesome! Also, almost every Metallica show opens with "Ecstasy of Gold",from "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly", which is also a spaghetti western.
I've always said that.
It’s from a western called The Unforgiven
I think it sounds like silent hill hehehe.
Why does it feel like it's even more emotional than the normal version? I didn't think that was even possible. If I had a nickel for every time this damn song made me cry...

This song is so awesome I can't focus on what I'm working on while he sings, so I have to listen to the kick ass guitar only.
Same
This song make the walking in the Rain more epic.
The instrumental is absolutely monumental on that song. That's why I'm here.
I feel like i could fall asleep to the main theme om repeat. Its freakin beautiful music and i love the guitar
This is pretty much, practically the "Fade To Black" of the Black Album.
Or the Unforgiven on Ride the Lightning but not really.
Nothing else matters
dont disrespect fade to black this song is great but fade is on the another level in the greatest Met album
Nah master of puppets best album
Yeah it’s the number 4 track
New blood joins this Earth
And quickly he's subdued
Through constant pain disgrace
The young boy learns their rules
With time the child draws in
This whipping boy done wrong
Deprived of all his thoughts
The young man struggles on and on he's known
A vow unto his own
That never from this day
His will they'll take away
What I've felt
What I've known
Never shined through what I've shown
Never be
Never see
Won't see what might have been
What I've felt
What I've known
Never shined through what I've shown
Never free
Never me
So I dub the unforgiven
They dedicate their lives
To running all of his
He tries to please them all
This bitter man he is
Throughout his life the same
He's battled constantly
This fight he cannot win
A tired man they see no longer cares
The old man then prepares
To die regretfully
That old man here is me
What I've felt
What I've known
Never shined through what I've shown
Never be
Never see
Won't see what might have been
What I've felt
What I've known
Never shined through what I've shown
Never free
Never me
So I dub the unforgiven
You labeled me
I'll label you
So I dub the unforgiven
Never free
Never me
So I dub the unforgiven
So I dub the unforgiven
I will never
The melody for this song is just so awesome, especially 0:35. A lot of different (and a lot better imo) then a lot of other metal songs.
0:35 is definitely a masterpiece of a melody
One of the greatest stories I have ever heard
there's guitar parts missing too. the classical guitar in the chorus for instance is gone.
Listening to songs you've heard a million times minus the vocals gives you a new perspective on it.
Absolutely
Oh how I would love to hear this in the new Red dead redemption ❤️
I just imagined it and now I need a lawn mower for my goosebumps !!
Jonthan Fowler I agree, in fact I would love to hear some Metallica in some of Rockstar's games
John Marston on a killing spree with that music woud be great! R.I.P. John..
"I need a lawnmower for my goosebumps" 😂😂😂😂😂👍👍

Admit it ,
We still are able to hear JAMES' vocals All Loud And All Clear . \m/
I almost the whole song, when there was about a minute or two left I forgot because I was reading a comment with the lyrics and I finished before 😔

@@damianlee5438 agree, playing verse is really simple because it's just power chords, acustic parts are trickier
Can you play the verse yet?
@@ilyasantonov212 I'd be pretty pissed if I couldn't learn it in like nine years, but yes I can. It was one of the first songs I learned on guitar
