My Flashbomb aged terribly. Would be nervous to try another at the kind of prices they are asking. My next purchase was a n X el which was pricey but aged well then a RC Dawn Patrol and really made me wonder if I am being a mug buying the expensive gear. The cheaper suit out performed the others in every department. Good to lnow if youre on a budget and worried youre going without.

Great breakdown on the fusion technology and how it’s constructed. Thank you.

The fusion's insides don't get fully wet on mine, so your body warmth doesn't warm up the wet inside all over. The suit is still newish so this may diminish over time, or you can just let water in yourself through the neck and up the sleeves and legs. The first surf it wasn't actually that warm because of this, but it improved with following surfs as the rubber loosened.

How’re you finding November down in Bournemouth! It’s already feeling cold in Cornwall. Maybe the coldest autumn-winter transition I’ve felt in a few years! I’d be keen to know how long it’s been until you’ve started wearing boots and how long your surf sessions are.
    Cheers

You mentioned the Heatseeker. What's the difference between the Fusion and Heatseeker - aren't they both covering the same thing? I can't work it out.

They have the same lining, the boast of the heat seeker was the patches of lining on the outside, which generated heat through movement. The Fusion doesn't have that, its all about the seams, focusing more on seams that dont leak for the life of the suit. But pretty similar yep!

I have a flash bomb E7 and it is the most difficult suit to get in and out of. I literally can’t get in or out with out help. It’s ridiculous. I’ve never had a suit so tight before. Once it’s on, it’s great. But it’s useless to me, as I can’t use it if I want ti surf alone.

Mine too. Have to ask random people in the parking lot to help me pull off the sleeves.

Mine was like this, very frustrating considering my dawn patrol MT was the perfect size on me then I got the flash bomb in the same size and can barely breath in it or get the zip pulled over 😩
