At my local tri shop I got the advise to put the legs on inside out first. You can just pull it up only touching the inside of the suit. So there is minimal risk of damaging.
You're not a proper triathlete until you've peed in your wetsuit :P Especially in a race! Hydrating before the race and letting it out during the swim so you can go as far as possible on the bike before going to a bathroom break.
Pro Tip: pre-lubing the interior of your wetsuit with Suave coconut conditioner then dipping the wetsuit in the water before putting on is a way more efficient way to put on the wetsuit than using plastic bags that can be lost in the water or gloves from the manufacturer. Goes on soooo quick. Plus when you finish your swim and run to your first transition the conditioner allows you to kick the wetsuit off equally as fast. You’ll blow the competition away. 👍
Any tips on how to perform any wetsuit repairs? Any techniques to avoid at all costs? For example, what would happen if you applied super glue to try to hold a separated seam together? Or, those crescent shaped tears from fingernails?
Have three of those tears on the right arm of my wetsuit from when I had to hurry to the starting line on a hot day and was too nervous and sweaty to put it on properly. Was the first time I wore it as well. Still cry a little when I see those tears 🙈
How in the bloody hell do you cut your nails so round they don’t tear the wetsuit? I wore it only a couple of times and had a few cuts at each wear. Some are really bad. (My nails are really short and I tried to even file them down and round)
6 degrees?? I just have to wait for a month before I can get into the lake here in Canada. The ice should just be off the lake. For me to put on easy I turn my wetsuit inside out and roll it on. Of course I do the small lifts to suit when it is on to get more room on top. And yes I would have pushed Mark in. LOL Cheers

Yes, plastic bags on hands and feet work a treat. Remember to take the bags off!
