I did this diet one time for 10 days and went from 53 to 47. It was bearable that time but I don’t think I’ll ever do it again.

@@denisebal8415 Yess… and I messed up my stomach too I couldn’t eat a proper meal I would constantly get diarrhoea it took about 2 months for me to eat normally again

@@Pr66ttyangel I did. I’m at 57kg right now 😭 it’s depressing but I can’t restrict myself anymore cus I have low blood pressure. I’m not exactly happy with my body right now but I think having a healthy body is important. Stay safe 🤗

You are so diligent and strong to do this diet, thank you for the speech at the end, I’m a teenager who has tried to loose weight and I just started going running and having healthier food choices, eating fruit and veggies my mum makes me healthy yummy food. I believe these diets should only be used when your body needs a break from the Junk food

i know i am a stranger and you know your body the best, but as someone who majored in nutrition. i would advice you (even though you did not ask for it) to not do it. as when you reach 55kg and go back to your 'normal' routine diet, there are high chances of gaining all the weight back.
please do a lifestyle change and not just diet.
as with lifestyle changes it would be a permanent solution and not a temporary one.

I checked the daily calories and it's close to only 400 and that's without including exercise. That kinda sounds like an ana diet ngl

guys, please DONT do this diet. IU herself sad its really bad and she will never do it again, this isn’t even a diet it’s basically starving yourself..your body needs other nutrients. It’s unsafe, it may look “easy” but it isn’t if you keep doing it. You’re beautiful and amazing, u don’t need to starve urself to look like someone else, if you do wanna change do a diet NOT starving urself. No matter who you are or what you look like, ur you and no one can change that

I'd add some eggs to that lunch, and change the fruit in the morning otherwise it's too boring! I might try it for 3 days tho...with 2 eggs and the sweet potato

Did u gain any weight back after? I heard ppl often experience yoyo effect after extreme calories deficit!
It’s been almost 2 months after the IU diet, and I weight around 60 now.
I haven’t experienced the yoyo effect maybe because I started exercising more!

i am also following diet and i have almost lost 3 kg and it's been 4 days since this diet and i am continuing this, but only thing i am afraid of gaining the weight as soon as i stop diet
i can't follow particularly this diet i choose a nutricious diet with one full meal no sugar, fruits 2 times a day and milk

This diets aren't really safe also you end up gaining all the weight back (my experience) I am now eating whatever I want in smaller portions and exercising atleast 3 days a week I lost so much weight in the last 2 months I rather be happy eating what I like than do this diets and starve , take care of your body do what works for you
I recommend you to add more steamed vegetables and healthy sources of protein like chicken, lentils/beans, mushrooms and tofu. Vegetables fill you up so you don't need to starve and you feel more satisfied, are low calorie and have lots of fiber and nutrients that are good for gut health.
You can try to maintain the weight by SLOWLY starting to eat normally, not immediately go back to what u eat after the diet, like for example eat 2 apples instead of 1, then slowly change the potato into something else, eat small portions and slowly increase them

I'd say try different types of pumpkin ! So many of them have tons of amazing nutrients & they taste amazing 👏🏼

Guys, you mustn't do this; it's totally wrong. You will lose muscle, not fat (the women shouldn't take less than 1200 and the men shouldn't take less than 1500). Let me explain that when you eat less than you need, your body feels hungry, and it stores fat to keep you alive. We need all nutrients, either fat, carbohydrate, or protein (in a specific amount). It's easy to lose weight. You can eat what you want, but in a smaller amount; drink enough water; sleep well; be active; and the most important factor is stress. Take your time with your journey; results take time. It's lifestyle, not starvation. ❤❤
