If the tundra says 330 miles to empty on a half tank you still have a problem😂
At 80 on the interstate I have squeaked 550 out of mine and still had another 2-4 gallons left….

- Is this a stage 1 ?
- Is a tune required ?
- Would this work in a 2020 Sequoia ?
-What would be the approximate cost for the install ?
- You stated that you install Magnusson and Harrop now. Can you please tell us based on your experience with both brands,,
- which is easier to install and is less prone to issues based on the design ?

Following! I have a 2020 Sequoia that I’m interested in too.
The range to empty reset because the battery was disconnected. Range is always stupid high after battery disconnect. It will learn over time

We don't really have the need to invest in a Dyno at this time.
Where the hell is the computer tune? I've owned three TRD supercharged Tundras and they all needed the ECU to be flashed.
What was your fuel economy on your supercharged Tundras?

@@rider14mcd63 8mpg on a fast day. 11.87 mpg on the best day. 2008 w/ TRD S/c, catback exhaust, 4inch lift, 35 inch tires. Going from 33s to 35s significant difference off the line.

tou vang Stage one does not require a tune
that is correct no need for a tune on stage 1
Magnuson emailed me and said the 2020/2021 should be out in the next couple of months. They just released the 2019
We are also a dealer and installer for Magnuson and they make amazing products!
@@highaltitudetrucks Stage 1 must be very mild then ? It must not be making much boost for the stock tune to be able to work with it.
? Does supercharging the tundra engine affect the emissions when it is time for smog test.
As far as I know the magnuson doesn’t affect emissions testing

So let’s get this right drop $10-11,000 and leave stock tune ? That seems pointless !! If you not changing fuel pressure /volume your not getting moneys worth !! It’s simple more air in requires more fuel in which requires more exhaust out.
It’s not required and at the time tuning wasn’t out for the truck! Since then we have tuned it
What happens to MPG ?
It isn't affected much, but will sway depending on how it is driven.

Any truck that you want performance out of and you change stock needs a tune wrote for it ? Unless I missed something
@@highaltitudetrucks for a Supercharger, it requires a tune. No way around it. They provide it in the box as a handheld.

I love driving mine through Eisenhower, we drop the windows and open the sunroof and it rips sounds amazing too. I have the Magnuson on a 2017 though

This particular supercharger only works on the 5.7 V8.
