I didn't know what to expect from this film, but it exceeded those expectations. The film held my interest from start to finish. The acting was believable, the plot made sense, and the pacing was perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

This movie made me think of Rev 8 "A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up. a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed. the name of the star is Wormwood."
If only it was that simple. I still believe that when earth is hit by a CME we must turn off everything including the power grid. To be completely offline is the only option.

Ten minutes were enough. Saved 1:30 of my life. These catatrophe movies are cloned. bad actors, bad effects, bad plot, director missing.. Something happens at the beginning, then you have an hour of nice boring, and in the end, some guy who is despised by everybody, saves the earth. Tell me if i'm wrong. Of course, yo can watch the first and the last 15 minutes, that's an option.

Solar flares travel at the speed of light, there are numerous sites on the internet that confirm this. NESDIS is one such site .
