I’ve literally just fished that bay at Ynys Y Fro and had no luck at all. There was a pod of fish making bow waves and occasionally rising so I tried the washing line for an hour then switched to a dry on the surface. No luck. The only difference in the conditions was no wind at all. Maybe I should have used 5X . Found it very frustrating as I’ve fished Ynys Y Fro three times and not had a knock. Would be interesting to know what time of day you were there. It looked quiet whereas a Saturday was always going to be busier. Any advice would be great as the place is beautiful and obviously well stocked……maybe it’s just me!
@@mrintresting256 hi mate thanks for the comment 👍👍 i was there around 9:30am i seen the fish in the bay when i got there but the wind wasn’t pleasant and the weed was a nightmare for stripping lures on the DI3 and the indicator set up was too deep for the weed so i went up on the top reservoir for a look but no joy up there i came back to that bay around 11:30ish and managed to get a few 👍👍👍
@ thanks for that feedback….I’m keen to crack the code at Ynys Y Fro and your film really helped. You handled that shallow water much better than me ….i got frustrated and moved ….fatal! Thanks for the feedback 🤙👏
@ no problem good luck on future sessions 👍👍 a bright fab / blob would also be worth trying on the point of a washing line set i ran out of time but thats what i was thinking of trying when the takes dried up on the damsel fab
@@mrintresting256 Same hear that pod of fish are clock work buggers most of the time no matter what you use they just don't take the fly I did manage 3 fish from there in the last month or so spooned 1 and it had pellets in It that was on halloween Last time I landed one there since then lost 2 fish in there also spent an entire day there with Ken bowring both blanked
