So perfect. Unlike most acoustic versions, you can still here the complexity of a well played song, and the musicianship of these great musicians. Amazing.
I also like "A Letter to Elise" when they did MTV Unplugged.
The miniature piano gets to me, reminds me of what Schroeder from Peanuts would play.
it helps that they kept the drums in. I don't know why drums aren't often part of acostic versions, drums don't usually need electricity to work...
Robert Smith is one of the nicest guys in music. Totally down to earth and happy to make fun of himself. This tune is legendary too.

( Edit 2020: Just in case... I am a huge The Cure fan. Watched them live in every decade since 90s. My previous 2015 joke comment was made because watching the video took me back to my "wannabe musician era", rehearsing with my friends in crappy music studios, and playing the same song over and over... and we had the same faces. I am sure most musicians will agree with me remembering those amateur times. Thanks for the love! New comments always bring me back to the video and I have to watch it again -with the same face - :)
